"infinite" may be an overstatement.  And it may not.  But anyway, it's damned big.  And I don't think it's likely that a faster-than-light drive can exist, which means no matter what you've got it remains damned big. 

While I don't think we're probably alone in the universe, I'd put 99-to-1 odds on us being alone in this galaxy. 

And, honestly, if there are alien civilizations out there in our own galaxy, it's quite likely that they're over ten thousand light years distant, which is a bit far for casual visits. 

We don't all know about them but if we take a second to realize how vast this universe is and it is 13bilion+ years old there are roughly 500 billion galaxies in the universe, meaning there is somewhere in the region of 50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 habitable planets

If we face the facts we are not alone it is impossible but travelling even out of our galaxy travelling at the speed of light, speed of light (300,000 km per second, which is about 675 million mph) the journey would take 24,000 years just to get out of our galaxy. We are not alone but until we can travel faster than the universal law it doesn't matter does it..

Obama " well ya know" that is what we are instructed to say, hmmmmm by who, the puppet president slips.

Life has never been found anywhere except Earth. That is the central fact and in no way implies that life will soon be found elsewhere.

There is wanting to believe, and believing what you want.  

P.S. I saved $2500 a year with the new healthcare. Couldn't be happier.

It's all just show to make the President look more human-like. I mean even if there were aliens and obama knew it he couldn't reveal it because the files would be kept secret.

Right from our childhood we all had dreams about them.

Or the much easier explanation without controversy is that technology develops exponentially.

And btw it is about life not intelligent life like humans or above - and im sure they will manage too.
New findings in science says that all the basis for life exist much more abudant in the universe then we knew before.

I'm also thinking of that, too, because seeing the technological advancements the human race since the industrial revolution is definitely mind-boggling, given that most of the earliest humans stayed using primitive weapons and tools for thousands of years. There must be something going on within the reach of the general public, but I do think that there are actually living beings--apart from Earthlings--that exists in the vast expanse of the universe. The humans might have already made a contact, but the people behind those didn't want the public to go crazy over it, so they prepare the public in a slow and steady pace.

Yeah, I too like Stargate and Star Trek.

Because 1) they screwed with out genetics to make us more intelligent (missing link), and 2) they want to monitor us to see when we'll be an intergalactic civilization so they'll know when to actually try to make intelligent contact.

A bunch of people believe alien civilizations invented space travel and visit earth to make... crop circles!

Why do people believe in aliens anyways, actually;why do people believe that if they exist , they would choose to visit US ?
Area 51 i believe, was (is) nothing more than a research operations of US military, and nothing more, but its even better for them for public to think that there were UFO's,
and not US secret research. Revealing newest military tech is not something they are willing to do imho.

The Obama administration announced Friday that 80,000 corrected tax forms for people on plans through ObamaCare have still not gone out.

It's unclear how many people will be affected by the delay, but the administration said people who have not received the corrected forms do not have to wait to file their taxes and will not have to pay any additional tax due to the effort.

The issues stem from the announcement last month that 800,000 people on insurance plans through ObamaCare received incorrect tax information. At the time, the administration said forms with corrected information would be sent out in the first week of March.

Republicans pounced on the news, arguing it showed the burdens the Affordable Care Act is placing on families during tax season. They also said it showed the administration was having trouble administering its own law.

The administration now says 740,000 of the corrected forms are in the mail and available online at HealthCare.gov accounts.

It said the remaining 80,000 forms will be mailed next week.

The White House has said the error could result in some people receiving a tax credit meant to subsidize health insurance coverage by mistake.

On Friday, it said people who received the tax credit and had already filed their taxes based on the incorrect forms would not have to refile and could keep the extra tax credit. The administration previously gave this flexibility to 50,000 people who had filed their taxes at the time the original error was announced.

“What we don't know is how many [people] have already filed,” Mark Mazur, assistant Treasury secretary for tax policy, said on a call with reporters. “We think it's a relatively small number.”

When you compare just one of Obama's accomplishments, "ACA", it dwarfs many former Presidents' accomplishments during their entire term.  And that's just one accomplishment.  Say what you want about the ACA but it's way better than what the insurance companies were allowed to get away with before.  Now we just need a President who will ban insurance companies from healthcare altogether.
