New app version with wallet is coming!

After a long absence, here we are again to share some exciting news with our community.

We have been developing a new version of our Navibration app, in which users will be able to create a new wallet or import an existing one; on top of that, users will see their Navicoin balance! This new version will be released in August and it is the first huge step for the Navibration shared economy to become a reality. In future versions, users will be also able to buy the audio tours by paying with their Navicoin balance, always with very special discounts over paying with fiat.

We are a step closer for our token, Navicoin, to play a fundamental role within the Navibration project and the new app version with the wallet included is just the beginning. Stay tuned!

Navibration receives the best possible rating from ICOTOP

Navibration has recently been evaluated by the ICOTOP ranking agency and we received the best possible AA rating, and we are the only upcoming project to have been given this rating. While that is quite an accolade, the question remains: what does AA actually mean?

According to the ICOTOP website, AA is the rating given to projects with the highest probability of success. What a great endorsement! Even if we do say so ourselves. Let’s find out a little bit more what ICOTOP is and what it does.

ICOTOP is an independent agency which employs a group of blockchain experts. They have developed their own rating system which they use to rate ICO projects. Their objective is to be able to help provide investors with all the information they need when choosing the best projects to invest in. In their own words “Our main goal is to scrub the blockchain market of scams and provide investors with as much useful information as possible”.

As blockchain technology startups become increasingly widespread, investors might logically be wary of hidden risks or scams. This is where ICOTOP comes to the rescue. It is striving to become a resource where investors can find detailed and objective information about specific projects.

Navibration has a good team behind it. Some of the best IT people, security specialists, content creators and blockchain experts have already joined our team. ICOTOP mentions this in its review of our project along with other factors such as the Spanish government’s endorsement of Navibration right from the beginning. And like ICOTOP, we have transparency and trust at the top of our agenda.

We want you to come on this exciting journey with us.

We want you to know you can trust us.

We are in this together.

Join us.

We are waiting.

All aboard! Navibration launches its Barcelona by the Sea Experience!

The word Barcelona is evocative.

You hear it and you can feel the sea breeze coming off the Mediterranean. Or hear the piercing mew calls of the seagulls as they hunt for food among the city’s many sea-going vessels. Or just smell the salt air of this perennial port city.

Because, in spite of its recent Olympic glories, its Modernist rebirth and its glorious medieval past, Barcelona is a maritime city.

Barcelona, has a long-standing relationship with the sea. And the sea has made Barcelona what it is today.

And we don’t want you to forget that!

We’ve just launched our Barcelona by the Sea experience and you’ll experience this city as never before in the company of our mystery tour guide. Will you be able to guess who she is?

Join us as we stroll along Barceloneta Beach.

Learn about the golondrina pleasure boats while you are cruising along the Barcelona coastline.

Navibrate across the sea on the Rambla del Mar to Maremagnum.

Then look! It’s Christopher Columbus, one of the greatest seafarers of them all! His tools were complicated and quite rudimentary nautical charts and basic magnetic compasses. Our patented technology allows you to navigate across land and sea with just your mobile phone. And you don’t even have to be online.

Barcelona is waiting for you.

Sun, sights and of course the sea.

We will be there with you.

How to avoid being a smombie, with Navibration

Have you noticed?

They are everywhere!

On the metro. In the queue at the supermarket. On the treadmill at the gym.

Always in front of you. Head down. Eyes averted. Jittery fingers engaging with the world through the screen of their mobile.

They are smartphone zombies. Also known as smombies. And they are dangerous.

A danger to themselves and to everybody else. Worst of all, they are everywhere, and on the rise. In 2016, Swedish authorities revealed that 650 citizens had been so badly injured while walking and using their mobile phones that they had required emergency care. Philadelphia city fathers announced the creation of e-lanes for mobile users. It was an April Fool’s Day joke, but very soon it was a reality in cities like Antwerp, Amsterdam and Chongqing in China.

At Navibration, we love technology. We love innovation. We love progress.

But we want this particular phenomenon to stop.

We want people to engage with the world. We want you to look at your surroundings and delight in them as much as we do. The world is AMAZING. And you (and your phone) can be actively part of it.

Our navigation by vibration system allows you to do that. As you walk around a city, you don’t need to keep looking down at a map on your screen to know where you are. Navibration will guide your footsteps. As you reach each place of interest, our specially curated audio files will inform you about what you have in front of you, so you won’t need to read anything.

Yes! You need your mobile to navibrate, but you can do it with your head up. Looking straight ahead. The world is out there.

Be part of it. Feel your way.

And take us with you!

Let us introduce our new advisor: Juan Pablo Fernández Agüero

2019 is shaping up to be a great year for Navibration and one of the first high points of the year has to be the addition of a new advisor to our already very impressive team: Juan Pablo Fernández Agüero.

Juan Pablo started his career as an 18-year-old with the creation of his own tennis academy. He soon became interested in Forex and his interest in cryptocurrencies started in 2015. Since then he has gone on to become a recognised and influential expert in ICO, especially for Spain and Spanish-speaking territories. Which ties in nicely with Navibration, a Spanish project, endorsed by the Spanish government.

It is also the perfect time for Juan Pablo to join our team. In a recent interview with him in Humans of Blockchain, he said “The status of blockchain is growing really fast. Spain is now one of the countries with the most bitcoin ATMs, and the ICO ecosystem, roadshows and conferences are growing. Many professionals are now turning to the blockchain industry”.

He also recognises that, while 2018 was a challenging year, 2019 is and is shaping up to be a very promising year.

He is currently acting as advisor for several wide-ranging projects and takes this role very seriously. In his own words: “When I decide to join a new project, I check multiple factors. I talk with the founders and check all the team, seed funding, budget, website and documentation, business plan, objectives and goals, etc. It’s more important than ever before to study every startup in depth. The market is more mature now, everybody should be careful with their investments and collaborations.”

Juan Pablo is a Spanish expert who knows the cryptoworld intimately and has a wealth of experience. A perfect fit for Navibration. A perfect fit for you!

Stay tuned!

Soak up the magic and mystery of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter with Navibration

In the company of the champion of the later Modernist architecture, Antoní Gaudí, our new Barcelona — the Gothic Quarter experience will transport you back to a time before Parc Guëll, the Sagrada Familia or more modern additions to Barcelona such as the Olympic Stadium or the “Rambla del Mar”. When Gothic architecture first made its appearance in the 12th century, Planet Earth changed forever and Barcelona was soon to produce the gems of Catalan Gothic that you can visit today. Our patented navigation by vibration technology means you will be able to really absorb the beauty around you, without having to keep looking down at your mobile phone, maps or guidebooks. Here are four locations in Barcelona where we feel Gothic (and not Modernist architecture) is the star attraction.

1 Pla de la Seu

The square in front of Barcelona Cathedral, also popularly known as La Seu, is a hive of activity and one of the nerve centres of the city. In front of you is the Neo-Gothic facade of the Cathedral and all around you people are going about their business. On Sundays, groups of local people participate in sardanas, public dances which are performed in a circle and which people of all ages and capabilities can join. The dancers or sardanistas are often accompanied by an eleven-member orchestra known as a cobla. Join the sardana to get to really know Barcelona and its people. In December, this square is home to the highly anticipated Christmas market known as the Fira de Santa Llucía.

2 Barcelona Cathedral

Undoubtedly, one of the jewels in the crown of this Gothic Quarter experience is Barcelona Cathedral, more formally known as the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia. It was built between the 13th and 15th centuries on the site of what had previously been a Romanesque cathedral, which in its day had replaced a Paleochristian temple. Of the many marvels you´ll see while visiting the cathedral is the choir, which is said to be one of the most beautiful in Europe. If you are lucky enough to visit on the feast of Corpus Christi (40 days after the feast of Easter Sunday), you´ll get to see the popular “l’ou com balla’ — which is a dancing egg placed over the water that flows out of the fountain in the cloister. The tradition dates back to the 17th century and is well worth seeing

3 Basilica de Santa Maria del Pi

Built between 1306 and 1391, this Basilica is known both for its exuberance and for being the final resting place of one of Barcelona’s most beloved saints, San Josep Oriol (who was a priest here). It has an impressive rectangular façade with a rose window connected to an enormous bell tower, all of which are in stark contrast to the simple square you’ll find yourself in as you are navibrating towards this Gothic masterpiece. One inside the Basilica, look out for the Chapel of Sant Miquel where you will be able to see the Gothic altarpiece Els Tenders Revendors. The Basilica has amazingly good acoustics and a correspondingly amazing calendar of choral events, so check it out. You may be in luck and be able to catch some heavenly music to accompany the sights!

4 Plaça del Rei

If we had to recommend just one stop in our Gothic Quarter Experience as the most authentically medieval, undoubtedly, it would be this square — Plaça del Rei. At this unique location, you’ll find three Gothic and Renaissance buildings which were home to the Counts of Barcelona and later the seat of the Kingdom of Aragon. Here you will find the Grand Royal Palace (Palau Reial Major), the Viceroy´s Palace (Palau del Virrei) and the five-storey King Martin’s watchtower. Close your eyes and picture the scene of a local villager making an attempt on the life of King Ferdinand the Catholic at this very spot in 1492. The King lived to tell the tale, which unfortunately cannot be said of the hapless assassin.

And there is so much more to see, hear, touch and smell.

We’ve done our best to give you the most comprehensive experience of Barcelona’s Quarter. Now it’s up to you.

Are you ready to feel your way?

Will the user receive a reward if he has made a route? Has it started? I hope this platform can be available throughout the world, especially more for the Asian region.

1) Yes, the users involved in the routes creation will be rewarded.

2) No, the ICO has not started yet.

3) That is one of our strongest points: our navigation system by vibration and tours can be used all over the world.
Tell me when the ICO will start?Your project really deserves a hard cap)

Thanks a lot for your words! Our ICO will start during 2019 Q2, in which we currently are. We will announce the exact date very soon. Stay tuned!
