Not too much excitement tonight but I do see an opportunity for a decent 3 game parlay opportunity. I think the Boston Celtics should beat the Washington Wizards without too much effort. Then you have the OKC Thunder beating the Charlotte Hornets to keep up their playoff race. Then finally I like the Golden State Warriors over the Zion-less New Orleans Pelicans.
Currently, the Jazz are 2 games behind the 10th seeded Thunder, and looking at their remaining schedule, 6 of their 7 games are against either teams who are sure already of clinching the playoffs, or teams who are fighting for the spot like the Thunder and the Lakers (twice). Kind of hard schedule is the least that I can say, but who knows.
They are not in a good situation now, and looking at their last 10 games, they are only 4-6. You can see how much they are struggling. It seems like they have lost their hunger to win. After having some good wins, they are now experiencing a losing streak. I see that the more hungry teams to win in the West who are in competition with the Jazz are the Lakers and Pelicans, who are already on a good run now.Their next game is against the Celtics on the road, and the Celtics will likely try to avenge their previous loss. This could be another possible loss for the Jazz.

Chemistry has been there already, and aside from that, they also have key players that might help the team like Markannen and Clarkson. Their big guy Walker Kessler is performing really well as a rookie this season as well. They have many trade assets as well with their draft picks.

Dallas Mavericks won against the Indiana Pacers in a blowout.
Milwaukee Bucks won against the Detroit Pistons just like I predicted even without Jrue Holiday and Giannis but they didn't cover my spread @-11.5. That hurt a bit, this could have been a perfect early bet day.
Phoenix Suns also won their game against the Utah Jazz. With Ayton back, they won't have any problem about the rim protector and he is a threat too for alley-oop plays.

Denver Nuggets won against the 76ers but the other game was sadly a loss although it was purely entertaining, Sacramento Kings lost against the Timberwolves who are badly looking for a win. I should've considered that fact as they are trying to snatch the 6th seed from the Warriors.

Yes, the Utah Jazz had an unexpected run this season and that was really unexpected from a team that was just formed last off-season, and take note, they are still on a rebuilding process. The management couldn't be more happy with the performance their team gave and honestly, this is not a failure on their side because the newly formed roster gave the other teams on the league a hard time.
No need to demand more from this team because even if they can participate in the playoffs, they won't reach further because they are still an unexperienced team.

I would say it's been come all along, after Luka Doncic had what would have been is 16th Technical Foul of the season and kept out of the was rescinded, It knew it was going to be a walk in the park for the Dallas Mavericks who had obviously struggled in their last 4 matches, Luka Doncic complain to the referee tip-off to the final buzzer usually doesn't help his case, and that's where most of his Ts had stem from more so deservedly, but it would have cost his a great ordeal had the decision stood, although I had no idea why he got T'd in that game, I watched every minute of the game, he could gotten in other instance, but he hadn't made any gesture to have warranted the T, hence why the league had to take another look into it.
I don't know what the bookies expected of a Pacers team, with Haliburton, Buddy Hield or Myles Turner to have overrated them that much, perhaps it due to the Mavericks recent struggles, rather than how difficult the Pacer were expected to be.

They also need this win so that they can clinch to 40 wins and get that 4th spot from the Phoenix Suns. If the Bulls will get this win on the road though, they will be tied with the Hawks and the Raptors with 36-38. Still I'd go with the Clippers on this one.

- With the win of the Cavaliers on their last game, they already clinch the playoffs, and it's the first since they rebuild the team. To add that devastating fourth straight lost against the Charlotte Hornets, Luka Doncic is now suspended for tomorrow's game versus the Indiana Pacers. Warriors lost in their homecourt, they could probably win it and covered the spread too, but they made an error, KAT shoots 3 to take the lead and then they fumbled on the last 20 or so seconds as they failed to executed any, that's not the Warriors that we used to see.

Winning a 3-legged parlay is a good way to start the week. I was not actually so sure about my bet, and I also did not watch the game, but I am glad when I checked that I won the parlay. I know Celtics and Cleveland will win but I have a little doubt about the spread. Luckily, I was right. I know for sure the Grizzlies will be able to win the game against the Hawks, so I am not worried about that.

Clippers vs Pels - I'll go with the Clippers at home here, -4.5 @1.88
It's too bad that the Clippers lost again. They certainly miss the services of Paul George, and Leonard struggled with only 12 points due to a poor shooting night. I hope Paul George can return soon so that this team can be competitive in the playoffs. Right now, I don't trust the Clippers, so I'll choose to bet on other teams instead, especially the Warriors, who have been impressive at home
The Clippers won't be that competitive and dangerous enough without Kawhi's buddy and main man, and they will be much tested by the opposing teams just like what happened on their last game against the Pelicans. Aside from the fact that the Clippers are incomplete, they too got way lot of errors and there's also Kawhi having a bad night with poor shooting as he was only 25% from shooting on the field. Later on, they will battle against the Bulls who are currently hot from defeating the Lakers recently.

Dallas Mavericks lost against the Charlotte Hornets. It must be frustrating for Luka Doncic, he did too much on the offensive end and even had the lead in the 4th quarter yet it's not enough to claim a win. 40 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, and a pair of steals and blocks.
2 losses against the same team on consecutive games. Now they are on the 11th spot of the West, they might miss the playoffs or even the play-in if this won't change.

To add that devastating fourth straight lost against the Charlotte Hornets, Luka Doncic is now suspended for tomorrow's game versus the Indiana Pacers. But I think they can still make it this time as the Pacers key players are still questionable to play but if they will then that will be a serious challenge for the remaining players of Mavericks because this opposing team is also unpredictable.
