Still waiting for the all-star games to start and because I don't have a paid preview yet on that will be waiting for it on free streaming, for me, I will go with Team Lebron even though Zion Williamson can not play I am guessing players will not be aggressive on this and will just chill with this all-star game,

That's going to be tomorrow, and finally, we will be able to witness the biggest game of the All-Star weekend. Maybe it's just a chill game, or maybe they will take it seriously, but one thing is for sure, this game will have a high-scoring result, and I would not be surprised if the total score will reach over 300 points.

By the way, does your bookie already have options on who will win the Finals MVP?

Also, if you like to watch it live, you may try availing an IPTV service. That's what I'm currently using, and I was able to enjoy all the NBA games.

It's hard to say who would win in an all star game.  Zion is certainly not the tipping point either way.  As far as the 3 point contest going with hero on the longer odds.  Dude has a pure 3 point stroke and with no one defending him I think he has a good shot here.  How did julius randle sneak in there lol.  I'm a knick fan but he isn't even the best 3 point shooter on his own team.

I really don't know how they Squeeze Julius Randle in there, and he is not a great shooter at all, and watching the 3-point shooting right now he got eliminated in the 1st round so badly that I was laughing well maybe this is a bad joke or Julius Randle have to push the official to let him in the 3 point contest but surely anybody can improve but Julius Randle has much catching up to make,

NBA All-Star Skill Challenge Champion: TEAM JAZZ

NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest Champion: DAMIAN LILLARD

NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest Champion: MAC MCCLUNG

Skills competition happening in the next few hours and I like Buddy Hield to take the three point competition.
There is a special from the site I placed my bet on with him getting over 28.5 points in the final round and winning @10.00x so that is my only pick for these tonight and of course Team Lebron for the All-Star game.
I also took the bet for Buddy Hield but he just reached 25 points and Damian Lillard made 26 points in the Final round. I really thought he could win it while watching Lillard struggle on both Starry balls. He made those shots on his first couple of rounds but missed it on the last but still the perfection on the last rack made him win with a point. Loved the intensity.

As for the slam dunk contest, McClung is very impressive and should get this easily, but I would have loved to have Ja Morant on this, he definitely would have dropped some spectacular dunk and sure put up a better fight that Jericho Sims.
Very, very impressive 540-degree slam dunk and yes he was right, "it is over". Trey Murphy was also shocked at how good the last dunk is. I myself shouted in my seat when I saw it happen. Whoever it is in the TNT crew who said he just saved the dunking contest, he is correct. It will be more interesting next year at how McClung will do another feat that will surprise us and defend his throne.

McClung saved the dunk contest after that disappointing Slam Dunk Contest last year where all of them are just like average dunkers out there.
Credits to 4 of the participants of that dunk contest. That was way better than last year. Very impressive I say.

McClung just made a history. He's the first player who came in G-league who participated in the contest and at the same time, he's the winner. It's good that the Sixers signed him a 2-way contract at least. His name will be popular throughout the whole USA for the next 48 hours after that dunk contest. Morant and other high-flyers in the NBA will not join on that one because of the prize. Cheesy Kind of ridiculous, but that's how it is.

I hope there will be a time where the NBA will put a contest there where all dunkers from around the USA will participating the Dunk Contest. I mean NBA participants can still join, but they will add more participants. Maybe 4 NBA players and 4 non-NBA players, but dunkers. Just my 2 cents.

Well julius randle fizzed like I expected lol.  Funniest part is he didn't even have the worst score of the night.  Wierd how they didn't have someone else out there, plenty of others to choose from.  Either way Dame shot his way to the win.  After the first round I didn't think anyone could beat Haliburton.  Herro sucked waste of money lol.

Especially him being listed at the final minutes after Anfernee Simons dropped out due to an injury, but Kevin Huerter didn't even get to double digits, I feel for Haliburton though, I thought he got that one logged on too, but then maybe the pressure got to him ?

Here are the odds on the other events.

Credits to Stake.com
I have not set my bet for Team Giannis or Team Lebron yet. But I already have my pick for the other events.
Three points contest - Buddy Hield - I like this guy when it comes to shooting threes. 42.6 percent is a good number.
Slam Dunk contest - Kenyon Martin Jr. - Risky but I will take it, I am really amazed at his high-flying skill.
Skill Challenge - Team Rookies
Parlay is not allowed, so singles it is.

Good luck with your picks, It seems I didn't make it on time for those games but still looking for bets on the all-star game, it seems that Kevin Durant is not the leader anymore and was changed by Giannis Antetokounmpo well I am surely not against it but anyway team west and team east are surely exciting to see, but for my pick for the All-star games, for me, I would surely go with Team West

Western Conference starters

  • LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers)
  • Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets)
  • Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans)
  • Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors)
  • Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks)

Surely if Zion Williamson could play for this team and I hope his injury was not a burden anymore then the Western Team will surely win this, but this is just a game and most likely any players will just play and not be serious about it,

Lost my bet for Team Deron.
Congratulations to those who bet for Team Pau. Jose Alvarado hit the final 3-pointer to claim the win against Team Joakim and he was also announced as the Rising Stars MVP. He also didn't stop being a pest on the defensive end. His signature skill.

@stadus, thanks for the All-Star roster update.
@Distinctin, Where did you get the lines? I don't see it yet at Stake.com but here is what they shared at CBS.

It's hard to predict, but I will go with the more aggressive team captain, and that is Giannis. He is hungry to win and will try to win another MVP award. LeBron has already slowed down in the All-Star game, and since Curry is not in the West, I think this game would be fair.

Team Lebron 1.69
Team Giannis 2.23

Great odds for the underdog.

I didn't watch the NBA Rising Star Challenge live, but I will watch the highlights so that I'm not late on the news. The most anticipated part of the weekend is the real All-Star game, featuring a matchup between Team Giannis and Team LeBron.

Although Team Giannis is the favorite, I think the West has more talent than the East, so I'm leaning towards Team LeBron. However, since it's not a serious game, it's hard to make predictions, so let's just enjoy the game with some friendly bets.

NBA commissioner made a last change that the teams in the mock draft will be naming the reserves first and then the starting five. This game is quite interesting if only it will be a serious game just like what we saw while growing up but since the All-Star game now is more about circus and exhibition then that makes the game more unpredictable to bet. But I think this will belong to LeBron as the NBA has been so vocal about it already that they will focus this on LeBron's achievement and legacy.

Anyway, here are the starting five of Team Giannis and Team LeBron:

Team LeBron:
1. LeBron James
2. Luka Doncic
3. Nikola Jokic
4. Kyrie Irving
5. Lauri Markkanen

Team Giannis:
1. Giannis Antetokounmpo
2. Joel Embiid
3. Jayson Tatum
4. Donovan Mitchell
5. Ja Morant

Nice won again 2/3
I expected win from Phoenix, but it didn't happen.
Terance Mann played a big part in the win yesterday.
Too bad there wasn't a game tonight.
Congratulations, bro.
Yeah, Terance Mann had a big night and PG13 praised him during the interview. He is young, learning, and active. That's how stars are created and he did great in that game against the Suns. The defense against him is so low that he can always get away from his defender. Thankfully, he is always spotted by his teammates. Kawhi having a rough night but someone will have to step up his game and that is the "Mann".  Grin
I really don’t like the new way that they’re naming these All-Star teams. It makes it difficult to gamble on who the winner is going to be when you don’t know what the teams are until the day before the game. It isn’t very respectful for the casuals that might not be available to place bets during such a short time frame. I hope the NBA does away with this draft stuff for the all star games.
They twisted it a bit and it's stuck. I wish they twist it to normal again. Just let it be East versus the West. Early bettors who like to take advantage of the odds will have to wait until they post it.
I like @wheelz1200 suggestion, just go for the total over scores. I may try that when the lines come out. Thanks.

Let's talk about the upcoming All-Star Game. We can check the schedules here.
https://www.nba.com/news/2023-all-star-schedule-of-events
Speaking of All-Stars, here is our tomorrow's game.

And here is the roster.
Quote
Team Pau: Paolo Banchero, Bennedict Mathurin, Jaden Ivey, Scottie Barnes, Jose Alvarado, Keegan Murray, Andrew Nembhard
Team Deron: Franz Wagner, Jalen Green*, Alperen Sengun, Trey Murphy III, AJ Griffin, Bones Hyland, Walker Kessler, Ayo Dosunmu**
Team Joakim: Evan Mobley, Josh Giddey, Jalen Williams, Jeremy Sochan, Quentin Grimes, Jabari Smith Jr., Jalen Duren*, Tari Eason**
Team Jason: Sidy Cissoko (G League Ignite), Scoot Henderson (G League Ignite), Mojave King (G League Ignite), Kenneth Lofton Jr. (Memphis Hustle), Mac McClung (Deleware Blue Coats), Leonard Miller (G League Ignite), Scotty Pippen Jr. (South Bay Lakers)
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-all-star-rising-stars-game-2023-live-stream-format-rosters-teams-how-to-watch-online-start-time/

I was actually surprised Deron Williams will coach the other team of the Rising Stars. I am a big fan of his from Utah Jazz paired with AK47 to Brooklyn Nets, (with his crossovers mostly, watch his highlights, they are damn good) until he was just gone without a big issue. He just wants to spend more time with his family, that's it.
Looking at the roster he is coaching, I will definitely bet for his team. Wagner and Sengun might play this explosively.  Cheesy
Team Joakim looks like a formidable team too unless Team Jason's roster which is mostly G-league players will show off with scouts watching on the sidelines.

Actually it turns out that it was a big issue when Deron Williams left the Jazz that time because he has a beef with the late former coach of the Jazz Jerry Sloan. Not sure if everyone is familiar with the story but it's here,

https://www.instagram.com/p/CAfmSwUFIy4/

So they ended up their marriage at a bitter divorce and Deron never talk to Jerry Sloan after he was traded and then Sloan retired as coach of Utah after 23 years. But it's good that they straight things up, Deron reaching to Sloan to make amends before Jerry passes away.

This is from the archives: https://archive.sltrib.com/article.php?id=51230275&itype=CMSID about Sloan resigning as Utah Jazz coach.

Quote
Tearful Sloan says, 'My time is up'

So that's one for the history books folks,  Grin

And speaking of Deron Williams, yeah, I will put a bet on his team to win. They are now underdogs at @2.05 odd so that is a very attractive for me.

Just bang the over and not care about the teams lol.  Seriously the over always looks so untouchable until you see them start playing and they get up 100 points in a quarter.  The x factor is the last quarter, that's the only time they start playing defense.  With the way guys can shoot now I'm banking on the over.  Let's the chips fall where they may with the draft.

I wll also go with the Bucks -7.5 @1.95, it was reported that DeRozan is out in this game and so is Alex Caruso.
Suns vs Clippers - gonna be a good match up here, ML for Clippers for me, @1.93.

Parlay both my picks @3.71.
Congratulations bro, perfect night.

Finally I hit my picks for tonight's game, I stay away from the Wizards vs Timberwolves game and it was the right decision for me because I can't decide on that game.

Congrats to you as well almost perfect and for those who win tonight. At least we have a win before the All Star Break.

Wow! Congratulations mate, you aced it impressively! What a good way to earn and have some good spare savings to bet on the upcoming All-Star break. Speaking of, do you guys already have some bets in mind?

While for me, I only got the Bucks right and not the Suns as my thought was quite divided because I had that feeling that the Suns might explode but it didn't happen earlier Grin

Same here, I also avoided the Wizards vs Wolves match-up. Can't really think thoroughly who got better chances as the handicap is not that really reasonable for me.
