For sure the Nets will be going down in team standing. Durant cannot carry the team alone. Unless Simmons suddenly comes to life and starts to command the ball like his old self back in Philly, then we can safely say they will be losing more in the future. It is just too bad that KD's tandem with Kyrie did not go so well. They could have been a great contender if the situation was different. Too much drama destroyed their team.
I doubt that for Simmons. He ain't that ready yet, he still moves like a rookie and even his type of player is not in a state that other players will look up to as a leader. Nets will be broken again, I expect more from Dinwiddie than him.

I'm curious about how Dallas would create a good chemistry to make Luka and Kyrie blend perfectly.
I think most of us are curious about how this will proceed, two alphas in one team had never worked, even Miami Heat with Lebron and Wade had a hard time before winning a championship but let's see, it's not like Luka had played with players like him. KP is an example.
Let's not just expect too much as early as this.

8 games later.
Detroit Pistons - Boston Celtics - Boston Celtics (-10.5) Still no Marcus Smart, he may be back after the All-Star. Detroit Pistons could sometimes surprise other teams but I doubt they can with a consistent Celtics team. Also, they are hungry after the defeat against the Phoenix Suns.

Brooklyn Nets - Los Angeles Clippers - Los Angeles Clippers (-5.5) This may be an easy one for the Clippers. They are broken now with regards to the recent news so I don't know how they can force a win even at home.

Chicago Bulls - San Antonio Spurs - Chicago Bulls (-10.5) The Bulls are red hot after a 2-win streak, I hope they can continue. LaVine finding his rhythm one more time will be their key to winning this in a blowout.

Good luck everyone.

That Boston spread though is quite giving me some struggle to decide because even if they are a heavy team, a spread like that is already high on my perspective. But I guess that's already reasonable enough because they are up against Pistons. So, yea, tailing you with the Boston -10.5 handicap and the Clippers -5.5 too as no Irving and Durant now for the Nets.

Houston Rockets - Sacramento Kings - Sacramento Kings (-6.5) Kings all the way!

Sad news for the Nets, although they already know that Irving is not willing to stay, at least Irving should be traded with a superstar that could help Durant still make the Nets a playoff contender. I believe the Brooklyn Nets are aiming for something here that would be good for the team in the next few years and the bad news is, they will be suffering right now because they had to pay some consequence before the next big thing happens to them. Nothing special about the Nets now especially that Durant is still injured and won't be playing for the next few weeks.

But for the Luka and Kyrie chemistry, that will take time to marinate but I guess they won't be having some struggles because Kyrie already knew right from the start that Luka is the main man and he can adapt the role easily.

Here's my bet for tomorrow, Cleveland Cavaliers -2.0 vs Washington Wizards. Goodluck!

Good luck, this is a tough one as Magic is a tough team to beat.

Yeah, just go 1/3 in my betting, lost my other underdog as well which is the Pacers.

But I was able to bounce back from:

NY Knicks vs Sixers - Knicks ML @2.80, 4.5 @2.09 pre-game. However, I just posted this in our local boards and not here. But it seems others too catch on the Knicks winning, so congrats.

Great catch for those who have that guts in taking the risk for NYK ML, though it isn't that expected, but that's how NBA games
works, unexpected outcome that brings sweet wins for those who take the risk.

Though, most of the time the eye is for those favorites and the handicap but there are people who love to take that kind of
gamble who really wanted to make some decent profits.

Moving forward, there are lots of games tomorrow. Still have time to analyze and pick the best game to place your bets.

Nah, I think NYK knicks are an underrated team. They are not popular but they are showing consistency, even if they lose sometimes, but it's always a close game. Brunson really is a huge addition to the team, he makes this team exciting to watch and beating the 76ers, that's a huge lift after losing to the Clippers in a thrilling OT game. I've won my bet too but it's on the +5.5.

There are some nice looking odds for the markets on how Lebron makes his record breaking basket for the all time scoring record.
The interesting one to me is which team he will score it against.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/nba-specials/matches

Watched him play against New Orleans over the weekend and he had 27 points which was sort of low for the 40 minutes he was on the court.
He is 36 points away from passing over Kareem Abdul jabbar's career milestone.

Sad news for the Nets, although they already know that Irving is not willing to stay, at least Irving should be traded with a superstar that could help Durant still make the Nets a playoff contender. Now that no more Irving, I'm pretty sure in the NBA Championship odds, Nets odds will also drop just like other teams that has a little chance of winning a championship.

I'm curious about how Dallas would create a good chemistry to make Luka and Kyrie blend perfectly.
That's to have a salary cap space for the team so they can acquire better players in the off-season.
The question right now is what's next for Durant. His buddy Kyrie has been traded already so what's next for him. Will he stay for the Nets next season? Will he request for a trade "again"? Will he trust the front office and say to them to get another all-star player aside from him in the off-season? I'm excited about him as much as the Nets' run this regular season.

That will lessen the burden for Luka because at least now he has a point guard and at the same time, a prolific scorer as well. Before the trade happens, many thought of how these 2 ball-dominant stars will play for each other. I believe some adjustments will happen after this trade, but now the chances of Dallas winning the title jumped massively.

Well, that is how Julius Randle way how plays but yeah this is really making Knicks fans so furious about him, he is a Power forward but playing as a shooting guard which is a bad position to be in right now, but maybe he could actually improve but I really don't know,
I did a quick search on Google on how many shots he is taking per game this season.

As per ESPN, he is taking 8.3-18.1 shots per game. He's a Power Forward and not a Shooting Guard like you said. I did also made a quick search on how many shots a Shooting Guard is attempting per game and the average is at around 10-20 though some are lower, but the point is Randle isn't playing the position he is right now. He feels that he's the shooting guard of the team well he's not. He's also awful in defense as well.

~
I am thinking to sit the next games for today and see if the Golden State Warriors could win against the Thunders without Stephen Curry again,
They still have Thompson and Poole that can still erupt anytime. The Warriors are 20-6 in their home and the Thunder are 9-16 on the road so maybe gambling with a Curry-less Warriors is still a good bet for me. Don't try it though with a large amount. Cheesy.

Now that no more Irving, I'm pretty sure in the NBA Championship odds, Nets odds will also drop just like other teams that has a little chance of winning a championship.
That's expected, the only thing that makes the Nets being a championship contender is because of Durant and Kyrie, though before it was supposed to be a big 3 since Harden joined, but he got traded for Simmons which basically not a big factor for the team. If you bet on the championship odds prior the season starts, you cannot hedge it now, so just ride with it and hope for miracle to happen.

I put my bet on the 3rd quarter I guess when they are only down by 3 points and I saw the odds are very attractive that's why I gambled on the Knicks and luckily, I won.

TBH, I hate Randle's style of playing which is more of an isolation, but there are times where he can just score 20+ points out there and carry the team alongside Brunson. Still, he's inconsistent and doesn't know when to stop to shoot when needed. Hartenstein and Fournier fouled out, but both of them has a big help towards their win on their home especially Fournier who scored 17 points and McBride stepped up as well in the absence of Barrett with 14 points. An impressive win for the Knicks who are down double digits in the early parts of the game.

Congrats to you I was near any kind of media or whatever to know something about the NBA until this time I was really busy that time, and yeah because of that I lost most of my bets it was a bad day for me and it will never be recovered,

Well, that is how Julius Randle way how plays but yeah this is really making Knicks fans so furious about him, he is a Power forward but playing as a shooting guard which is a bad position to be in right now, but maybe he could actually improve but I really don't know,

Jokic and Murray didn't play and I believe it's expected because they just played on their home and travelled going to Minnesota. This is the reason why they didn't play thus, the odds in Stake are favoring the Timberwolves.

An easy win for the Wolves with this one. 6 players in double digits and they had more FG's than Denver. They also won in assists category with 33 against 19 for the Nuggets. Wolves now are at the 7th place and there only 2 games separating the 3rd and the 7th spot so a win streak will be a big help not only with the Wolves, but in the whole Western Conference.

You lost 3 out of your 4 bets. Not a good day for us brother.

Congrats to you I also win this game the only game I win, it was a good thing that I was busy and never saw the game that I have leave the bet for the Timberwolves, so it was an easy win for the Minnesota Timberwolves, that the Dallas Mavericks doesn't have Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, and yeah not a really good day and sign that I am now losing so many bets, I am thinking to sit the next games for today and see if the Golden State Warriors could win against the Thunders without Stephen Curry again,

Here are the result of my picks today,

Indiana Pacers VS Cleveland Cavaliers SCORE 103 - 122 - LOST

New York Knicks VS Philadelphia 76ers SCORE 108 - 97 - LOST

New Orleans Pelicans VS Sacramento Kings SCORE 136 - 104 - LOST

Minnesota Timberwolves VS Denver Nuggets SCORE 128 - 98 - WIN

For sure the Nets will be going down in team standing.
That's expected because Kyrie left the team and Durant is injured.
He'll miss close to month but let's see if he will be as aggressive as he was when he returns.
https://www.si.com/fannation/nba/fastbreak/injuries/brooklyn-nets-kevin-durant-mcl-injury-possible-return

That's for sure as we've witnessed it already in the past, Simon is a no factor, to be honest, he can defend but cannot provide points production.

I lost my bet on that match. I have half the mind to change my bet to the underdog at the time but thought the 76ers is a better team. Alas, the Knicks was able to win this game in their home. This bet broke my parlay. My bet with the Raptors which is the underdog won the game. Better luck next time for me.

Cleveland Cavaliers had no problem covering the spreads. This is one of my favorite teams that had not let me down for most of my bets. Now they are in the top 4 of the East if the Nets will keep on losing especially with Kyrie being traded.

A nice big catch. Live betting is really profitable sometimes as long as you know what you are doing. Congratulations on that.

1/3 on my early bets.
I was half right that the questionable players of the Grizzlies will play, Jackson did but Ja Morant didn't. Well, that tells why the Grizzlies lost today.
The Raptors dominated them on the defensive end although it is still a close game with just a 3-point advantage win.

I played it safe betting for just -2.5 for the Philadelphia 76ers and they had the lead until the start of the 4th quarter. But, Evan Fournier got hot and bombarded them with threes, and then there's Grimes who keeps on making crucial shots. Good game for the Knicks.

New York Knicks vs Philadelphia 76ers

Philadelphia 76ers will visit the New York Knicks (28-26) tonight at Madison Square Garden. The 76ers are very hot with 9 wins in their last 10 games. Even without Joel Embiid, this should be a win against the New York Knicks.
76ers key injuries: Joel Embiid (foot) questionable
New York Knicks VS Philadelphia 76ers

The stake odds for this game are 2.43 for the Knicks and 1.59 for the 76ers, right now Mitchell Robinson can not play for the Knicks while Joel Embiid is questionable if he can play for the 76ers, for this game I will surely go with the Philadelphia 76ers, I think that Joel Embiid can still play for this game,

Minnesota Timberwolves VS Denver Nuggets

The stake odds for this game are 1.32 for the Timberwolves and 3.50 for the Nuggets, right now Karl-Anthony Towns can not play, and Kyle Anderson, Rudy Gobert, and Jordan McLaughlin is doubtful they can play for the Timberwolves, while Collin Gillespie can not play for the Nuggets, and Jack White, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Nikola Jokic are all questionable if he can play, for this game I will look if Nikola Jokic can not play but for now I think I may switch if Jokic and Murray could play so my pick will be Minnesota Timberwolves at the moment,

Memphis Grizzlies vs Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors (24-30) will visit the Memphis Grizzlies (32-20) tonight at FedExForum. The Grizzlies are a bit questionable since they are 1-5 in their last six games without Steven Adams. But they are still the favorite to win this game since they are playing at home.

Here are my picks for today's game while posting this the Hornets and Magic are in the 4th quarter

New York Knicks VS Philadelphia 76ers

New Orleans Pelicans VS Sacramento Kings

The stake odds for this game are 2.11 for the Pelicans and 1.77 for the Kings, Right now Brandon Ingram, Dyson Daniels, Zion Williamson, and E.J. Second night of a back to back I might take the 76ers here -4 against the Knicks on that back to back.  If embid plays he puts in an easy 40 points.  Spread seems low.

Taking the Grizzlies-2 they need to turn this around.

And last I'm taking Timberwolves-3.5 at home against Denver who I think jokic is out.

Good luck today everyone.

I'm a bit curious about the line of Denver vs Timberwolves. Can anyone explain why Denver is only -1.5 knowing how good they are and the Wolves are struggling? I get that they are into a back-to-back game, but as long as Jokic will not rest, I think they will likely dominate the Wolves.

And also, Jokic will not have a  heavy load carrying the team because they have Murray who fill the points stats already.
Home record, back-to-back games, or possible that there is something that we bettors don't know. Cheesy

The best reason that I know is the home record of the Wolves. There was a time where the Wolves had an 8 straight home game wins (correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not sure with the number, but I'm pretty sure it happened), and the record of the Wolves at home is 19-12. Not that impressive, but I guess enough.

Maybe the fact that the Nuggets are playing back to back might affect their performance as well. I mean they are just humans and just after their game on their home against the Hawks, they will rest a few hours and then travel 14 hours and 8 minutes just to go to Minnesota. I mean just imagine the tiredness of the players. That might also be the reason as well. With this, we might see players not playing for the Nuggets and will give most of the time to their role players thus, affects the odds of gambling websites. Again we don't know. Cheesy

Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic has been questionable for days already even against the Warriors last time because of their ankle and hamstring injury, respectively. But both of them are still playing last time against the Hawks even with injuries, now it'll be a back-to-back games for them, let's expect it already as they might rest both stars.

Back to betting lines, I still got the Nuggets ML despite the expectation because even if both named players won't be playing with the team, they have still have Murray and few other role players to defend the lines against the underperforming Wolves. In additional, I also got Grizzlies (-2.5)
