I'm disregarding any analysis for now and won't be in my usual bettor mode.

I will just place my bet on the Dallas Mavericks regardless of the odds because I want to.

In the whole playoffs series, the Dallas Mavericks never won a Game 1 yet. I like them being an underdog for an odds boost. They might lose on this Game 1 but my bet is still for them. I'm really biased at Dallas Mavericks since then. Smiley

They got smoked.  Golden state on a home playoff game is tough to bet against.  Luka is gonna need a ton of help this series, not sure I can see how Dallas can come out of this series even if they take the next game.  Dubs are just too good at home.

I will be going with the Boston Celtics, if Marcus Smarts, and Al Hoford can play that would be a good chance for the Celtics,

Marcus Smart is probable, but Horford is still questionable.
I suggest you place your bet before the tip in, or to be safe, bet during the live game so you'll verify if these two will play or not.
Celtics are good as a team, but we cannot deny that they lack big time during the first game and that is because Smart and Horford did not play.
Yeah, that's the smartest thing to do if you are rooting for the Celtics. Marcus Smart has a high chance of playing, but Al Horford may not. Better just wait when they call the names or while warming up.

I am betting for the Miami Heat -4.5 so I don't need to wait. I think that should be enough to cover again if they can perform the same way they did in Game 1. Just keep the energy high in the defensive zone and don't let Tatum get his rhythm. He will go hot easy once they give him that opportunity.

Tatum and Brown, are the top 2 players of the Celtics, if both will have a good offensive night, then there's a possibility that they will win in game 2. However, it seemed like no one could stop Butler, he has a very efficient stats in game 1. He's 12-19, and on the defensive end, he has 4 steals and 2 blocks, this guy is an all-around player.

I would say easy game for the Warriors tonight:

Not only did they limit Luka in the first game, but they put a defensive gem on their players. Brunson and Dinwiddie seems to can't find their grove because of the tight defense. While GSW starters all scored in double dights.

I really think the Mavericks were shut down by the Golden State in the 1st game, and I really think that they are surprised by what the Golden State Warriors can really do, to them, but I expect a real game in the 2nd game, the 1st game was just a warm-up and I could be wrong but the 2nd game could be a close one,

Now, here is my pick for tomorrow's game Conference Finals

Miami Heat VS Boston Celtics (Heat Leads 1 - 0)

Stake odds for this game are 1.62 for the Heat while 2.37 for the Celtics Right now Kyle Lowry can not play for the Heat until May 21, while Gabe Vincent and Max Strus are questionable if they can play for the Heat, and Sam Hauser, can not play for the Celtics until May 21, while Marcus Smart and Al Horford are questionable if they can play for the Celtics, from their first game Jimmy Butler played a Superstar level performance, while Bam Adebayo and P.J. Tucker done a great defensive game, but the Boston Celtics have played the game without Marcus Smarts and Al Horford if they can play a game against the Heat I think the Boston Celtic's defensive overall will surely rise but let's see and for this game, the Celtics is on the edge again, they can surely win even if they are not on their own court, but for this game, I will be going with the Boston Celtics, if Marcus Smarts, and Al Hoford can play that would be a good chance for the Celtics,

The defense is keeping doing good adjustment, limiting the scorers of Dallas to find an easy shot.

Warrior shows their dominance earlier, nothing that Dallas can do to stop them from hitting shots both outside and inside.
if Dallas won't be able to adjust and find the antidote with Warriors tight defense and solid offense, it would be a blowout for
the Warrior. Time for the East now. Home team heat still has the favorite ML @ 1.62 is good enough if you will place
decent amount of bet.

Tomorrow's game will be between GSW and Mavs. Would it have the same home court win or Mavs will snatch game one and take

the early series advantage?
This remains to be seen though, but I like the Warriors to win the series, they are now the favorites so I'll go with the line set by the bookies.
Mavericks snatching a win on the GSW's homecourt is unlikely to happen especially on Game 1 where most of the Warriors roster especially the Splash brothers are really used in their homecourt. But yes, this is just a speculation and only time will reveal which one of them will have a lead on the series.

You are right, it was a dominant win by the Warriors, they beat the Mavericks by 25 points, and it does not look good considering Mavericks were coming from a huge victory in the game 7 against the Suns. In game 2, let's see if they will make the right adjustment, and I hope Luka is not injured as he looks bothered on his shoulder.

Well , it seems the game began like the rest of the previous series ...with a defeat of Mavs. Now , can it be the same ? when Mavs turn this around and end up winning it ? I might say they will. Mavs deserves way more to reach the NBA final as this team really shines when they are all about teamwork and where Luka is having a giant night scoring 30+ points. Now , on the other side , GSW should be happy with what they achieved last night as the difference was kinda huge in the board and on the court...still ...I cheer for Mavs.

Good luck to you mate, but sorry, the way I see in game 1, looks like GSW owned the Mavs in this series. Warriors are moving the ball very well, their defense are good and everyone was really contributing, the big surprise in this series is that Loonie has now an offensive threat.

By the way, game 2 tomorrow (Celtics vs Heat)
I got Celtics to cover the handicap.

My first bet builder at Stake.com. It hurts. Oh, Steph Curry. Why?!

This is the problem when the game becomes a blowout in the early quarter. Player props may not able to hit their mark even if that's what is expected of them or you go even lower than it.
Cheers to all the winners who took the bet for the Warriors and may we all get more wins in the upcoming games.
Fun post-game analysis by TNT. Chuck is being bullied outside Chase Center.  Cheesy

Congrats to those who ride on the -5.5 line for the Warriors because it was an easy cover for them. Didn't allow the Mavs to get into the game by their superb defense all throughout.

Heat vs Boston game 2, I will have to go with the Heat -3.5 at 1.85.

If they allow Butler to play that kind of game again, it will be very difficult for the Celtics to bounce back.

@YuginKadoya, another series, another surprise that we are going to witness. Game 1 will give us an idea on how this series will go, but hopefully the Warriors win get the first win as they are really good playing at home.

Luka will always be consistent like he always do, but let's see how the Warriors will slow him down.
I got Warriors -5, I'm not gonna miss this.

I was really surprised and entertained at the same time, that is what I feel watching the game and the crowd chant was really amazing, Clearly, game 1 was a one-sided play by the Warriors, and amazingly they surely stop Luka Doncic and if I am not wrong Doncic made a 7 turn over, that is how effective the defense on Luka Doncic was, and that was thanks to Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins for defending Luka so well,

Tomorrow both teams will give their best for their respective teams, Curry, Green, Thompson come in and Doncic, Kleber also come in, both strong teams.

I'm going to place a bet tomorrow for the NBA Warriors vs. The Mavericks, of course, have to choose one of the best teams to bet on, for now the winning percentage is bigger for the Warriors, indeed the Warriors currently have a lot of fans, the Mavericks percentage is low, but.

Tomorrow's match will start, I will place a bet tomorrow for the lower percentage team, good luck on i side.

Well, I am really expecting the Warriors to win game 1 but in my opinion game 2 will be the real game, now that the Dallas Mavericks have felt the capabilities of the Golden State Warriors they will surely change their playing style, to have a closer game to the Warriors on game 2 this game 1 was just the opening take and I know that Luka Doncic is a preparing a big come back just like what he did with the Phoenix Suns,

And for me, game 2 will still be going for the Warriors, but I am guessing a very close game with the Mavericks because Luka right now is a never stopping storm that wants to really win,

The result of today's game between the Warriors and the Mavericks

Golden State Warriors VS Dallas Mavericks (Warriors Leads 1 - 0) - WIN

What can I say the Golden State Warriors really stopped Luka Doncic with the defense of Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green and Doncic if I am not wrong have 7 turnovers, and the Warriors pretty much have stopped the scoring power of Luka, but Spencer Dinwiddie was pressing a score when the Warriors have Luka Occupied, but the Warriors surely have a beautiful spread on the scores, and we all know that team  game play really win in this game,

Golden State Warriors to claim Game 1 -5.5.
No disrespect for the Mavericks but this team is full of experience and it might need some "getting to know each other" phase for the Mavs to equal their pace, especially in a homecourt advantage.
Over 212.5 could be possible to hit as both teams will play fast with transition plays and mostly outside shooting with less defense.
Otto Porter Jr. was cleared to play. Good luck to everyone.

I really don't want to undermine Mavericks here tbh, not after what happened in the Semifinals vs Suns, I think the Mavericks can win game 1, Warriors were able to get past the Grizzlies while making so many mistakes and playing inconsistently, that can't be case vs Mavs, they'd need to be consistent all through each game.

I'm settling for the Under 212.5 here.

Gl!

I think I'd be going with the over and the Warriors here.  Dallas has surprised so far in the playoffs, but I think Wiggins and Green will be able to hold Luka under control while Steph and Klay shoot the lights out.  I actually think they'll probably score 230+ and the Warriors will win by 10+ but I didn't think the Mavericks could beat the Suns either so we'll have to wait and see.  Luckily for us we won't have to wait long as the game is tonight being televised on TNT.  That means we get to watch Shaq, Chuck, Ernie, & Kenny do their thing during the breaks.  That's arguably more entertaining than the game itself...

The game played out as a 112-87 win for the Warriors, just like I predicted that I foresaw a low scoring game, although that could have been due the awful shooting from the Mavs today with Doncic being defended aggressively as well. Warriors did give up a lot of turnovers but that wasn't enough to keep Mavericks in the game, both teams had to empty there bench with well over 4 minutes to there about to go.

I'm also going with the Warriors -5.5 @1.90 even though the Mavericks were able to put the pressure against the Suns I think it'll be different against the Warriors since they're pretty tough to beat at home. We saw how the Grizzlies nearly stole a win on the road but fell short in the end. In my view, the spread should be higher than this since the Warriors can quickly cover the spread with a few possessions.

Hitting the over.  I don't like the spread line and ML isn't worth it to me.  At golden state and without the constant pressure that Memphis put on them I can see the dubs putting up a 120 here tonight.  That means Dallas just needs to show up to hit the over.  I just hope it's not a blowout either way to be honest.  Like nice tight games in the Con finals. Enjoy the games peeps

Finally a playoff match-up where both teams don't have any of their starters injured and going to be at full capacity to start a conference final.
Golden state warriors on home court sounds like a difficult task to overcome. But I think we all doubted the Mavericks to beat the Suns on their home court during game 7 too. So they are a team not to sleep on.

Almost all teams that has the homecourt advantage in Game 1 won their respective game. That's a good basis that the Warriors might take the Game 1 lead.

But I will be against everybody here and will risk betting on the Mavericks in Game 1. Not with the Moneyline but with the +5.5

Good luck to everyone.
