Sorry guys Spurs did not cover it. They had a good run in the last quarter but the Pelicans stopped them. JV is dominating the paint and there are many fouls that were not called. It's like they are using the playoffs rule already with no calls by just simple bumps.
1/2 for me as I thought the Spurs could win too but I am happy as I saw Pops smiling even if they are on a large deficit. I guess he is just satisfied with how the young guys are being competitive.

Hawks covered, by a lot.  Cheesy Cheers to the winners.

It's understable the Spurs loss because Pelicans is indeed strong. I'm disappointed on Hornets and Hawks match because they are supposed to have a close match yet Hawks massacre them without any mercy all through out the game. I thought my +20.5 is already sufficient to cover Hornets but they never show any sign of recovery even on last quarter. Next time I will not rely on the standing and focus on the momentum of the team.

You can see how experienced the Hawks are, although they are not that strong this season when they are in playoffs, they showed who they are. Remember that they reached the East Semi-Finals last season, so that experience really did help them to be better this playoffs.

It's still a play-in though as they are going to play the Cavaliers, but I believe they'll win even on the road.

Speaking of the Spurs, I wasn't excited watching them because they let CJ and Brandon scored easily, though they have their run, but it's too late already.

True, Trae Young alone was too much for them, he was doing everything and no one can guard him.

Yes, it seems that the Cavs have lost the momentum already in this play in. Trae is ice cold specially on the road, remember their series with the Knicks last year?

Spurs was a good team in the road, but at I guess this play-in is very different for the young team.

It was really another sad lost for the Clippers and it seems that Paul George can't really get over during play-in or play-off. He has a good performance tonight, but it wasn't enough for the tough Wolves at home.

And most of us thinks that a +3.5 for the Clippers is a good bet and not a trap, but majority of us are wrong. The Clippers have the experienced but the Wolves has more heart in the game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves were playing a team play, with Anthony Edwards firing those three's while the Los Angeles Clippers were relying too much on Paul George, but I can say the Clippers have done a great job but it was not enough the game was a close match, but the Timberwolves have a team play formidable for the quarter-finals, and just like many have said Anthony Edwards could be a weakness for the Clippers and this game has proven that a fact, the Clippers next opponent would be the Pelicans that could be their chance in winning.

I really thought that the Clippers were going to get the spot because I've watched the game in the first half and they even managed to dominate the Timberwolves in the first 3 quarters but I was shocked when I saw the result that the Timberwolves have won, yes they over relied to Paul George to carry the team whereas the Timberwolves have shared the ball.

This goes to show that basketball is not just a 1 man army but the team must rely on each other's strengths and weaknesses, that is why this is a good example I have seen a game where 1 to 2 players were scoring 30 points to 40 but had lost to teams that have to scatter their score to the whole team, sometimes all players have 2 digits on their score that could win the game, the Clipper will be playing against the Pelicans next so I think they will manage a win this time.

Yes, Pop is happy with how those young cores are playing the game. He's satisfied even they didn't win the game.

It's just simply appreciating the hard work that those guys are trying to provide, competing with much matured players and
still closing the gaps.

Not bad for Spurs believers, almost, but that's how the game is played, the outcome is unknown till
the last buzzer..

On that note, Hawks played tough and Hornets can't deal with it after the first half, it's all on the hawks side
they played well and win the game with a huge deficit.

Congrats to all the winners!  Wink

Liking the Spurs' +5.5 to cover this one as well as I think the Spurs can make this a close game similar to their last meeting a few weeks ago but at the same time the Pelicans could easily win by double digits if they suddenly make most of their shots and their free throws. The Pelicans are slightly worse than the Spurs when it comes to covering spreads but that probably doesn't matter when anything goes here in the playoffs. Also currently on a horrendous losing streak and hopefully I don't curse the spread and we'll see a much more competitive and close scoreline.

I managed to hit all 3 of my bets yesterday. Cavs with the spread. Nets to win outright. Then a multi-bet with the Nets and Wolves winning. I’m not sure who I’ll take today. Maybe the Hornets with the spread and the Pelicans to win outright. I feel pretty good about the Pelicans being able to beat the Spurs, but the Hornets game could really go either way in my opinion. I feel like the Hornets have a pretty good chance to cover the spread though as long as their young guys don’t choke under pressure. I don’t think they will.

Congrats mate, I think you are just a few who thinks that the spread can't be covered by the Nets because of the Cavs height advantage.

But in this game, the Pels are the favorite, but the Spurs young team can't be discounted, just like the last game, they've lost by they were able to cover the +10.5 against the Mavs at a good odds. So I might go with them +5.5 again.

Young roster but they have a veteran coach, I would not even hesitate to go with the ML as I have a feeling we will see the first road team to win in the play-in. However, if you are not comfortable with my pick, getting +5.5 is okay, that's the safest side.

Yes, I agree, this is a great match although the Spurs seemed to be undervalued here. IMO, what matters here is the coaching job, and since coach pop is already a Hall of Famer, I believe he has the edge in the coaching job and playoffs are not new to him. No all-star for the Spurs but they played well as a tema, chemistry is a big asset for the success of the team.

Does anyone here take the Clippers ML live?
KAT already has 5 fouls, and he might sit for a while as they want to preserve him in the 4th quarter, LA Clippers can take advantage of this situation.

What do you think?

Yes, I put a bet on them at @2.00 when the score is around 45-44 if I remembered it right. The worst night of Karl-Anthony Towns makes me decide to put a bet on Clipper ML. Then everything goes well after the half. They are even in lead with only a few minutes remaining in the game but lots of mistakes and errors especially those turnovers by Reggie Jackson. I also don't like Tyronn Lue's decision to have a small lineup when KAT fouled out.

If only those remaining plays were set up to Paul George, they might close the game. PG's hands are hot and drained almost all of his FG on the 4th but he didn't have a chance to hold the ball most during the crucial minutes.

I really thought I will win that bet as I put a decent amount.

I'm going with both favorites ML tonight; Atlanta Hawks ML + New Orleans Pelicans ML @ 2.05 Odds.

I think a lot of bettors are going for the Hawks, the line initially opened at -5, I'd give this match to Atlanta Hawks as well.

Pelicans vs Spurs is rather more tricky one, I like the NO Pelicans here and they have been competitive when CJ is having a great game, but the +5.5 looks like a achievable feat for the Spurs even if Pelicans are to win.

Cheers to you then. I didn't win anything at all at those games. Got to get it back now.
I believe the Spurs could win this against the Pelicans. They are struggling and it was the McCollum trade that made it possible for them to enter the play-in. Spurs on the other hand had won 3 of their 4 meeting against this team. Ingram's status is out but noted as probable.
Spurs +5.5

On the other side, I am betting for the Atlanta Hawks -5.5. Good luck to all.

KAT already has 5 fouls, and he might sit for a while as they want to preserve him in the 4th quarter, LA Clippers can take advantage of this situation.

What do you think?

I think Clippers got this despite 4pts deficit with 4mins in the clock. Paul George is very good on crucial match like this. I already place a +4.5 for the Clippers just to be on the safe bet. KAT is already tired and cautious on his defense so his effect will not gonna be the same as the earlier quarter. I hope Clippers really got this.  Cheesy

Turns out the decision was wrong, Clippers were already at a very comfortable lead, and KAT was already fouled out but Timberwolve made a huge run and beat the Clippers. PG was hitting 3 point shots, but I think it was a wrong play for the Clippers to rely on PG, they did not share the ball well compared to what the Timberwolves are doing.

My pick for tonight.

I don't think it will be a difficult game for the Brooklyn Nets. The game will not be easy, but the Brooklyn Nets will win this game tonight.
Durant and Kyrie will play the biggest role in winning this match.

Brooklyn Nets(-3,5) vs Cleveland Cavaliers = First Quarter 1,87 odds

Brooklyn Nets Injuries;
 - Seth Curry  probably

Cleveland Cavaliers Injuries;
 - Jarrett Allen will be back on 14 April

Good luck guys. Smiley

That's a nice pick, you get to know where you stand just after 12 minutes of play, however, the Brooklyn Nets have actually not started their last few games so well in the first Quarter, hopefully they'll tonight.

Brooklyn played very well in the first quarter last night, Kyrie Irving started the game great.
My bet won, I hope yours win too.

I will share my bets for tonight games.

I just check the result of the game recently, I feel WTF how the heck did I lose while the game is very close on the last 3 minutes. I stop watching because I cooked lunch for my wife and dogs as I’m confident that Clippers got this game due to KAT ois already out. PG13 betray me this time.  Grin

I’m just betting a few bucks for fun so not a big deal for me.

Oh well, it's just a single point that you need to win your bet, sad to say PG didn't come up to rescue

your handicap, they really tried everything but Wolves also gives them the fight that they are bringing, not showing any
sign of wekaness but that strong will to move forward.

Congrats to whoever takes wolves handicap -3.5, it's fully covered, a good win for your bet.

Those were really entertaining games. You can feel the playoff vibes coming. Pat Beverley even rejoiced like it was a championship. He did the Dwyane Wade signature winning stance.  Grin Lebron tweeted.

Brooklyn Nets didn't cover but it sure was a win. Cavaliers did try to close the gap but there's not enough time and Irving and Durant are just too much to handle.
Tomorrow, the 9th and 10th. I'm thinking Hawks and Spurs. Will wait if there will be changes in the spreads.
