I go with the Wizards +3.5 with the Nets, the first quarter has just ended so this is a live betting for me.

This really would have been the easiest bet to tail for me last night, tbh, I literally would have out some on the ML too at over 2.5 Odds. I missed out on all games yesterday, because I couldn't stay up late. Congratulations on wins.

Now we've got the NBA All Star Events for the week long, who are your favourites ? I'm still looking at the options 😞

The ML was really enticing considering how the Nets have been struggling lately, they just won their last game because of a huge comeback but they are still not consistent yet, so their lose is not something we are surprise, they are still prone to losing in their games.

They are very vulnerable mostly when they're playing at home as their star players can't play yet, so it's quite reasonable and common that their losing for now. But let's see if there is some changes this coming few days after the All-star break when Durant will play again and the new Big 3 starts to play back to back especially Simmons.
I want to see Simmon's play side by side with KD, Still a big question if he's fit with the Nets system. Though the chance is good.

He's not really a contributor but more on defensive stopper and a playmaker. Maybe they will start winning again after this all-star.

With KD inside the floor, betting for them got a greater chance of winning. Wink

The chances of Simmons that he would fit into the Nets is pretty much high as he already proved himself what he can do in the league and that he is a versatile player, not just in defense but he's a good contributor and does have a great assists too. Him and KD playing side by side have much more chances.

Yes he is. I think this tells it will be a fast pace game if more of the bets are on Giannis.
Giannis is more confident now, last season, he won the all-star MVP and won the Finals MVP, I think winning is really easy for him because as long as he gets the ball, he can either dunk it or just drive to the basket, everything is easy for him, so that bet is really good for me.

@Harkorede. Yes the lines keep on changing but yesterday it was Mills and Vanvleet tied at the front. Now Mills @5.40 is the only one left as the favorite while Fred, Trae, and Luke are tied @5.75. That's on Stake.com
And it seems that Giannis the favorite to win the MVP again?
Yes he is. I think this tells it will be a fast pace game if more of the bets are on Giannis.
And then Team Lebron at 1.43 ML against Team Durant at 2.80, this might be a good time to bet on the underdogs at ML.
I can't see it yet in my favorite bookie. I hope it will be available later. But same as you, I may go for the underdogs.  Wink

^Cheers Dave. You got it both right.
In my case, not perfect but a satisfying one as I added a parlay for both Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo to achieve a double-double.
I wanted to add Embiid to the line but Stake.com doesn't allow the same game multi-bet just yet. Maybe in the future, they will also bring one like a betbuilder in sportsbet.
All-Star guys! Lines are already open so you might want to analyze it now.  Wink
Jalen Green - Slam Dunk fave.
Fred Vanvleet and Patty Mills - 3 point contest faves.
Giannis - All-Star MVP fave.

Thanks mate, you too, congrats on your winning. At least we end the first half of the regular season with a good win.

Lots of good entry for the slam dunk contest, but I agree with your picks, Jalen Green and Cole Anthony.

If I'm not mistaken, Mills is on the top of the 3 as far as percentage so definitely he will also be the favorite to win. Maybe my dark horse is Luke Kennard.

Giannis is very athletic and he is still hungry for greatness, so I guess he can win the MVP again, it will be a back to back MVP award for him. On the dunk contest, that's very unpredictable, same with the 3 point shooting IMO.

And it seems that Giannis the favorite to win the MVP again?
He is still the favorite to win but the odds for Giannis is still very attractive. I can get  5.18 odds for Giannis.

And then Team Lebron at 1.43 ML against Team Durant at 2.80, this might be a good time to bet on the underdogs at ML.

3 point shot, yeah I like Kennard's chances here.

I am with you, Team Durant is an underdog so I would also choose them to win, I would not gamble on 1.43 odds in an all star, they are just having fun, so upset is possible.

I am really excited about the NBA All-star game, and surely I really don't know who am I choosing, but as we all know that I got some interest in the Golden State Warriors team right now and seeing Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green on Team Durant VS Stephen Curry on Team Lebron side, I really don't know both teams surely have a potential to win in the all-star, but as always players like Lebron James, Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, and Chris Paul seems like a likable for most people to bet but likely Kevin Durant still has injuries so he will not be playing for the All-star and I think that is a bummer and he will be replaced by LaMelo Ball, while I think Draymond Green is still injured so he will be replaced by Dejounte Murray, and James Harden will be replaced by Jarrett Allen, this will be a long wait and the game will start on February 21, Monday, while the games will resume on February 25 Friday.

My Yesterdays Picks,

Brooklyn Nets VS Washington Wizards SCORE 103 - 117 - WIN

It was a close match at the start of the game but the Wizards claim victory in the 4th quarter, I think Seth Curry and Andre Drummond is not yet accustomed to the change of teams or the Brooklyn Nets is not yet accustomed to them, but without Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving it was really a hard match for the Nets, but it was really a close match but the Wizards have claim all the game stat percentage, Field goals, 3 pointers, free throws, and most points in the paint.

Milwaukee Bucks VS Philadelphia 76ers SCORE 120 - 123 LOST

Having doubts about betting with the Bucks last time, and right now I have done the same mistake, but still, Giannis Antetokounmpo delivers a good game with a double-double performance of 11 Rebounds, 9 Assists, and 32 Points almost a triple-double, but it was not enough with Joel Embiid's own double-double performance of 14 rebounds, 5 Assists, 42 points, and with the game stats, the 76ers have crushed the opposition, regarding all points field goals, 3 pointers, free throws, and points in the paint, it was a lost but it was a good game to watch.

Los Angeles Clippers VS Houston Rockets SCORE 142 - 111 WIN

From start to finish the Los Angeles Clippers were crushing the Rockets it was a beautiful spread in the player's score having Ivica Zubac's double-double performance of 10 Rebounds, 13 points, and the leading points of Marcus Morris Sr. of 27 points game stat percentage were really taken by the Clippers as well, in Field goals, 3 pointers, free throws and points in the paint, it was a one-sided game.

Now we've got the NBA All Star Events for the week long, who are your favourites ? I'm still looking at the options 😞

I've locked Kennard and Trae Young for the 3pt-contest, odds shifted big time yesterday after Kennard career-high 3s vs. Houston. FVV and Young were at 4.40 the other day, Kennard at 7.50...everyone's at 5.50 today. Here's a table with 3pt stats i gathered:

source: https://www.datawrapper.de/ and https://www.nba.com/stats/players/

- FVV attempts and makes the most threes this season and has the second-highest 3pt %, but he has a very slow and high-arching shot, which is negative in a time-sensitive event, could end up forcing shots with the last two racks.
- Trae Young has a quick release and range, he is my backup if Kennard does not win.
- LaVine has been dealing with knee issues for the past few weeks, so i would avoid him completely.
- Towns, i don't think a big guy is winning this competition.
- Bane, the sophomore, made 7 3s against Portland (Grizzlies last game), but despite his decent numbers, he is not a three-point specialist, also he has a weird shot release.
- CJ McCollum is better known for his mid-range game and shot-creating abilities, and he has the worst 3pt % (last 10) of all participants.
- Mills is the oldest player at 33,  he is a proven shooter, despite the fact that the majority of his 3s come off hand-offs, after picks, and off-dribble.
- Kennard is my pick to win the contest, a catch and shoot guard with very quick release, has the highest 3pt % of any of the 8 guys. I'm so mad he made 8 three last night, now everyone is jumping on him and the odds for him to win have crashed and will most likely continue to crash. Fun fact, Curry is the only point guard to win the 3pt-contest in the last 6-7 editions.

I'm taking mills.  He has a smooth stroke and shoots the lights out with no one around him.  I think he is suited for a contest like this and I like his odds at this point.  Excited for the skills competitions, first time I have been in awhile.

I still don't have one yet and I am thinking about going for underdogs like Trae Young to win the 3 point shootout against the favorites Patty Mills and Fred Vanvleet.
At Slam Dunk contest though it might be a sure win for Jalen Green with high flying stunts, unlike the other contenders.
The All-Star MVP might be the most difficult to decide of all. It could become a fast pacing game or 3 pointers will have their way so it could be Steph or Giannis. But if they go slow pace Doncic and Jokic might take the trophy. Lines are still changing at this moment.

firstly, I'm not so sure about taking Trae Young he's been the same active 3 points shooter he used (although I've not been keeping up with him that much), secondly he's not an underdog to Mills or VanVleet, at least as the time of this post he's one of the 4 favourites to win it.

I'm personally looking at Luke Kennard and I'm pretty much likely to go with him.

Exactly mate and that is the Nets biggest weakness now for not having a superstar to play with them because their other players aren't that much decent that contributes well enough, that's why we are seeing this team getting bullied easily. Kevin Durant and Simmons though will be a nice tandem while Irving can't play on homecourt games and Seth will be a good addition to their team.

There's a whole lot of interesting games again tomorrow. Phoenix Suns have gone superdog again in tomorrow's game against the Houston Rockets with a +/-16 spread. It will be a match of #1 spot vs last spot in WCF and a seductive one to bet. Anyone willing to ride this one? Grin
Not touching the Suns since they look shaky against the Clippers yesterday, they could easily win by double digits but imo 16 is a lot of points for the Suns since they're not that good when it comes to covering unlike the Grizzlies or the Cavs.

I'm going with the Bulls -5.5 since the Kings can't even beat the Nets when they're still missing some of their key players.

I went with the Bulls at -5.5 as well. Despite the fact that the bulls have been missing an bunch of their best players (Lavine, Ball, Caruso) I figured they still had enough fire power with DeRozan being as unbelievable as he has been and he certainly didn’t disappoint dropping 38 on them. White certainly had a nice game as well dropping 31 points.

This would make DeRozan increase his chance of winning the MVP this season, he is a very consistent player and he is one of the reasons why the Bulls are now the number 1 in the East. I am also not betting against the Bulls as long as DeRozan is playing, and with a good center, that makes their team reliable.

Surprisingly his latest run really hasn't moved him up the lists out there for NBA MVP.  There was an ESPN "straw poll" that was posted to the website yesterday that polled 100 people in the NBA circle , including people who actually vote on the MVP at season end, and they had DeRozan down at number six on the list.  I expected him more so around like 4-5.  That being said I plan on putting a few bucks on him with these current odds..he does have an outside chance of taking the MVP home.

My pick.

Game : 76ers vs Bucks,
~
Therefore my pick is Bucks -6.5
Whoa! I thought it was done and we are going for the All-Star break. So there's 1 more day. Okay, so let's get it on for our last bets before the fun.

Yeah, all star game starts tomorrow. Players that are going to participate will enjoy the all star break and those who are not included may also enjoy a long rest. It's also time for the struggling teams to figure out their problems.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Dallas Mavericks - Mavs -3.5 It's kind of like a trap that maybe they will rest Doncic but I'll just take the risk and if ever they will, it's all in the hands of their deep bench.
Charlotte Hornets vs Miami Heat - Heat -5.5
Good luck to everyone.

You got the Mavericks but you lose on the Heat as they did not cover the spread.

@stadus, sorry, bucks lose.
