I'd like to chime in on the Boston/Portland game predictions. I don't think that being inconsistent and having a back to back games even if it's a blowout loss will have any effect them. The biggest problem Celtics have right now is their team chemistry, they don't seem to enjoy playing together/for each other.

Their lingering locker-room issues have been well-known for some time now. It feels as if the young Celtics does not like Kyrie at all and I don't blame them. Remember last season they reached ECF and were so very close making the finals. Now they don't get as much playing time and shots, not to mention that Kyrie called them out publicly mid-season, and now he is not giving any comments actin' all passive aggressive. I'm sure that rubs them the wrong way, it has to. Fun fact, they lost in five of their last seven games, two games Kyrie didn't play - they got a win.

With all that said and most people having Celtics lose tonight...I like to bet against the odds and say Kyrie scores 40+pts and Celtics win. (Blazers blowout win does not seem impossible either. Still a risky game, any way you want to look at it. Wink

Another factor that made me choose this pick was Boston falling score 15 points or less than 25 (in up to 2 quarters, sometimes) in some recent matches.

Those matches in which Boston fell short were away matches. They have a good performance record on home ground and coming from a high margin loss, a much more offensive game can be expected to be played.

Why under 227.5? I believe that Celtics v/s Blazers shall easily cross 225.5 points. Out of 11 games played by Blazers with 1-day rest, 10 of the games saw over 225.5 points
Moreover, the last 5 games played by Boston as their home have had a total of more than 225.5 points too!

Tonight's Game 1 : Charlotte Hornets v/s Houston Rockets

Both teams are average on offensive grounds, with Rockets(113.2) ranking higher than the Hornets(111.1) in terms of average points per game. I agree with the Toronto Raptors v/s Boston Celtics pick, but I believe Under 227.5 full game total is a much safer bet with pretty 1.77 odds
Last time the teams met head to head, the total was 209 and looking at the average points and conceded this season, this game seems to be a low scoring one.

Yeah, that was an unexpected loss. Orlando started strong but it all fell apart. Was a good game.
My second prediction is probably going to hit Under 227.5 for Raptors game with 104-80 scoreline, 7minutes to go.
