GSW v HOU, GSW -10, 1.91  ... slight better choice than HOU +10.  obviously Houston can play lights out anywhere, but James Harden has not been outstanding and it isn't likely to change vs GSW.

GSW -8 or lower is a steal.

^ sorry game started already.  It's a very tough call though, I did not have a take on that game.

Regarding last night, very dissappointed Charlotte lost.  A key component was that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist got hurt in 2nd quarter.  He is a key defensive player and has more speed/athleticism than virtually anyone on the court in that game.  It happens though.

Just like when KD got injured during OKC GSW..OKC were on a roll n im sure would have defeated GSW..but unfortunately KD got injured in the 2nd Qtr that game..

I dont know how many ppl noticed. But the female ref in Cavs Clips game was ridiculous. so many techs simply.

Yeah true, but she seemed a bit one-sided too and seemed to be helping Cavs in their win... You know that there were many fouls made by them too which were not given... There was a time when the free throws only helped Cavs to lead with 20 points constantly till 3rd quarter... They didn't do much in the 4th, though...

Phoenix Suns v Portland Trail Blazers
Game: Portland Trail Blazers -5 1.991 (-101)

I am a bit confused with these type of bets? What does this -5 mean? Does it mean that Portland Trail Blazers will lose with more/less than 5 points margin? Sorry for such a silly question being a huge basketball fan, but I asked as I still don't know much about these terms... Also, please suggest me a site where I can get the best information, kind of basketball dictionary where each and every term about basketball is available...

One more personal question, are you yourself a basketball player at any National level? Smiley

-5 means that..to win the bet Portland must win with a margin greater than 5. If it is exact 5 then u get your money back but u lose if it is lesser than that. Similarly with +5, U win the bet even if your team loses the game but is within the 5 points margin. U could have just googled this stuff Tongue
thats how I learned this few years back.! Smiley

First pick is the most risky one, but I like it. 190 or less points combined may be a good gamble, as both teams Celtics and Knicks ended their last two games with less than 190 points combined - an interesting stat. Let's see if this series continues tonight.

How about Miami - Detroit game? 190 points combined there would be a tougher one to score.

It happens.  My last picks were horrible.  But fundamentally speaking and technically speaking, I like those picks in the long run.  Variance is a bitch.  These actually weren't my picks to start off with but I really like them which was why they became my picks.  Another excellent handicapper I chat with all the time and share insights gave me these picks to which I used myself.  He did state that historically the week after superbowl games have gone under more often than over....  AND lately games have been going under as well.  Furthermore, I think this year's NBA quality of play has increased, and when quality of play increases, effort on the defensive end increase.

Sorry for the last few days though, in fact the last week+ for inconsistent posting.  There were several days that I left out some GOLDEN picks where I virtually swept all the games.  Apologies.

Thats alright... posting picks tonight?

Well, the first pick is down: 97-108 for Celts is the final score. This low scoring streaks do not last long.
Second pick, narrowly in: 217 points combined, so quite lucky here.
Last one down, with 205 in total.
Detroit won @ Miami and they are still in the contention for the last PO spot. Still a 17 point win is a bit of a surprise. (197 points combined in that game, so my pick would lose as well).
