I have received the funds from forum member " Gelbstich " . Below snapshot is a fresh snapshot taken from my samsung mobile phone just before a minute.

I'm glad you did. So everything's settled then.

I suggest you to send the repayment from an address you can sign from, so in the future you can sign messages from this address and use this thread as reference to proof it is you. Granted you do the payback. Wink

Now that was a smart move sending to an older address Smiley

Thank you. Smiley

You mean to say that when I will do the repayment of this loan, I can use the new btc address where I can sign a message from that same address .  Am I correct ?

Exactly.
It's just a suggestion, but I believe this will make your life easier and avoid another "mess" such as this thread in the future. Because like this you can easily verify that it is you.

Sure . I will make the repayment as per your guidelines on time.

Okay I trust you, we have an agreement. I have sent the funds. The txid is ec5825cc3e161a219be2ec0a39bc8c92bceed077f5368320ae5c93c1b9bb59b0

Repay on Wednesday 19-08-2015 to 1JPetHyN6q8pJytBviz5fLzcVCgQxdFAhp please.

Here is the Unedited Post you are looking for. Please verify it and tell me if its ok for you.

lol. where did you get the idea that signing a message with your new address, saying that you own an old address, is going to prove anything?

if that's how it works. I can post theymos' address now and wait 4 months before signing a message from a new address stating that I own theymos' address.

SNapshot has been posted below posts. Also I can name first the transactions showing on the snapshot to whom i have sent the money using this same btc address which i always use.

yes. but what I meant to say is you can't prove anything by signing a message with a new address saying you own the old address. it should be the other way around.

Yup, If he has the passwords for that address what is the problem in signing it, Strange  Roll Eyes

I have the access of above BTC address on my Android Phone only i.e., Blockchain app. You can check out this for your doubt. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1154047.new;topicseen#new

Okay great. If you have access to 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY I can send the funds their and we're settled, right?

Yes. 100 % I have a access to above address you have stated. If you are willing to fund it , Go ahead.  Repayment will be done as per aggrement on coming wednesday.

Okay I trust you, we have an agreement. I have sent the funds. The txid is ec5825cc3e161a219be2ec0a39bc8c92bceed077f5368320ae5c93c1b9bb59b0

You are actually promoting scams here! You should know this will most likely end in a scam, But its too late now, You cant trust even satoshi unless he can sign his addresses!

Thank you for your concern. But I am not promoting scams. The money went to the old address, so even if what you say is right and he is an imposter, he won't receive the funds. Only if he truly is letyouearn. And if he is, he won't risk his account for 0.1 BTC.

Calm down. Cheers.

it doesn't matter. it's the owner of 1A7RdYVo6rVmPXLHeeHqnTym7otCNmCDPb saying he owns 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY, not the other way around.

though looks like someone is willing to send to the old address. which is fine, I think.
Sending to the 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY address should be fine, but his signed message should be coming from 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY as well ( posted in September last year by letyouearn here ). He's trying to sign a message from 1A7RdYVo6rVmPXLHeeHqnTym7otCNmCDPb, which hasn't been used before by this account as mentioned by another user, so there's no proof that the account is in the hands of the original owner still.

That signature doesn't check out for me, are you sure you didn't edit the message at all after signing?

That one seems to verify, but like I mentioned above, it doesn't prove that you're the original owner of this account. If you have access to the private key for 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY still (which you said you did a couple posts ago), why not sign the message you posted above with the address 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY to prove that you're the original owner of the account?

I have the access of above BTC address on my Android Phone only i.e., Blockchain app. You can check out this for your doubt. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1154047.new;topicseen#new

Okay great. If you have access to 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY I can send the funds their and we're settled, right?

Yes. 100 % I have a access to above address you have stated. If you are willing to fund it , Go ahead.  Repayment will be done as per aggrement on coming wednesday.

But, as per Quickseller  suggest me not to use the same btc address for every transaction. It may exploit the security of the wallet.

I would not lend a single penny as this is looking like account is hacked. I am 100% sure this will end bad. he doesnt have a address attached so this is very high risk

posting to see how this will end.

Maybe you are right. Thanks.

@letyouearn
Verify a valid address you have used at the forum before. For example this one: 1BPFKnxAENaxp26g8QbWKUWMuedRo5ZjDY

Before that, I won't give you a loan. I guess you'll understand.

BTC address is New with Zero transaction
I think it was created only when @letyouearn was asked for a signed message.
But if i'm the OP, I will just lock this thread and move on and look for other ways to borrow money if he really needs it. All eyes is on him now and waiting for the outcome of this loan request.

Message verified with ChainQuery.

But like Encrypted said, your signed message proves nothing. I did a quick search and the only time that bitcoin address was on the forum is in the topic.

I think that the possibility of letyouearn being bought by ManyProofs is getting more and more probable.

Manyproofs didn't bought my account bro. I have signed above message with the help of mycelium android wallet as i use blockchain wallet in my Sansung android wallet only and it doesn't have a option to sign a message.

i have specially installed a mycelium bitcoin wallet to just sign a message by reading this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/how-to-sign-a-message-990345. I found it easy to do. nothing else.

Okay. I simply said that it was becoming a bit more probable; it's still probably not true.

Here, follow these steps.

1) Find an old, unedited message containing a bitcoin address that you still control from a really long time ago on BCT. (Or BTCT, whatever you prefer.)
2) Use that post to locate whatever wallet it was and then sign a message.
3) Post it here.

Hello mate, check out this topic about my issue for not able to sign a message.

you're missing the point of signed messages here.. people asked you to provide a signed message because it will erase any doubt of your ownership of that account, and you can only do that by signing a message from an old address.

I should have clarified how to sign a message. My bad.

Also, I don't think that's how a signed message should look like. Here's a sample one:

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Example (this is the message)
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
1asfh98s7d98s7h9s8fd7fadsj24 (bitcoin address)
ID2sRyr4cDi/dly82Jk6bu36dEFEfVmKb9cwV8W6HW3SOw+BqgOf+iQvgiEEUnsH12fan8EFPaIvBHr5n64hK/8= (this is the signature)
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I think you just put the signature. We need the message, bitcoin address, and signature all in one.

EDIT: don't put the words in the parentheses. They're for example purposes.

Here. You avoided doing this in the first thread. I am going to explicitly asking you to do as this user said in this post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12027704

Your signed message was invalid. Sign it again. Otherwise I'm thinking you may be an alt of ManyProofs.

I am still new an don't have experience of signing message. Ok. I am providing a signed message with my personal and highly used btc address.

It's been a year since you made your account and you still don't know how to sign a message?  Do you even know how to use bitcoin or are you just in it for the signature money? Roll Eyes

Also, what do you mean, for a secondary tire?  Like, a backup tire?   If that's the case, no need for a loan, its not an urgent thing.

Now, I got it. I have just installed mycelium android wallet and have signed a message  with the help of above topic on " how to sign a message ". Its really helpful for me.

If you provide you account as a collateral than I can provide you this loan. 0.1 BTC is not a very small loan.

I will not be able to repay the loan, if my account will go as collateral. Its the only way to earn bitcoins for me and be able to repay the loan.

You can check out , I have 2 loans repaid successfully.

1.   https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/need-0085-btc-1140674

2.   https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/need-010-btc-loan-1145268

The above two loans are sponsored by only one guy ManyProofs - who do not have so much trust hence you may not get a loan from other people and you may again get it from ManyProofs.

Sorry without collateral I can't give you loan.

I have already message " ManyProofs " to fund my loan. Hope he will fund it.

And most important thing is that I don't have any alternative account on bitcointalk forum to scam anyone. I don't have any intensions to ruin my one and only one single bitcointalk.org forum account.

most likely altcoins, right? then you would be able to sell his collateral and lend if you did not have any money to lend.
that's why collateral with altcoins only, makes no sense and risky.
