Maybe ill have to send small loans out for a while just to make activity for myself.  Not sure how else to get out of this noob status.

Just POST, POST & POST... You only need 14 posts every 2 weeks to get Activity, and giving small loans doesn't increase it...

Who mislead you about this?

I have sent him the dollar.
Someone once trusted me when with the same amount, so i guess it's time for me to do the same to someone else.

let's see how it goes , although the discipline is important not the amount...
the discipline of keep sending btc to scammers and by doing this losing encouraging them to spam this topic even more?
This topic would be so much nicer if nobody sends btc to newbies without collateral or knowing their identity. Then they wouldn't even post here...

Knowing their identity is kind of pointless. What are you going to do if people don't pay? Chase them down for their failure to pay $1? Of course, a database with everyone's identity could be kept and used in these situations, but that creates more problems than it solves.

lol thanks for having faith in me everyone

This isn't about you. It's too easy to create a new account and immediately ask for loans. And so far, many who do end up scamming people, even if for very small amounts.

Exactly.

I had a user with almost 200 posts scam me out of a few dollar loan.

The fact you have 5 posts makes it even more of a risk.

I am not sure if people are always that desperate or doing it for the sport over the internet cause it's not punishable.
