There is trouble abrewing
Enjoy testnet coins https://tbtc.bitaps.com/mhC6AucPQpezwF7tC6CKLr6tWVWeGYEHHz

From bitaps.com testnet faucet. Please return coins back once you not need it any more to tb1qywqrjrkfmqdej3lytn2k5sh8nsmnyd2phyzvyd

I have been trying to request test net bitcoins from your site for the past 3 days however it always says "request failed" when I enter my tbtc address and click "get test coins".

Is something not functioning on the site?

Thanks

same here, i also tried multiple times at different times with different address types just to make sure there is no problem with certain type. it always fails.
if the faucet is dry then a better error message is needed instead of a simple "request failed".

Hey guys,
I just saw your post while searching like crazy for someone or some faucet to send me 50 BTC for some testing with a friend and mine project. I would send them back in around 10days after we finished.
I hope you guys can help us out and wish you all a great day

Thank you very much for your kindness. I will make sure to send them back to that faucet once done with testing.

@BitCryptex, I like that idea, I might try that however one component of the experiment requires a realistic amount of relay nodes.

@buwaytress Thank you, I appreciate that. When it comes to testnet mining, I'm assuming difficulty on testnet is high enough that GPU mining brings little no nothing?

Are you trying to find out what's the difference between sending your own made testnet coins with others? Pretty sure there won't be any difference. I suggest you do what BitCryptex suggest you to do, no doubt it will be faster for you to test it too.

Why don't you create your own testnet blockchain? It will be much easier than asking a few faucets to send you that many coins. Use bitcoin-testnet-box for that. It shouldn't be difficult for you if you have a basic knowledge of Linux commands and bitcoind installed.

100 BTC is a lot, but in case you can't find anyone willing to send you that much (heck, that's just about what most faucets have in balance actually), you can try this one for about 0.1BTC plus (so maybe you could do it ten times for 1 BTC?). I've started you out on one claim.

All other faucets are too small, probably not helpful. Why not just try mining the testnet coins? Am sure you could get that amount with less effort.

And you can just return the coins to the same faucet address for all of them, that's usually how it works since you don't need them again.

I would appreciate any contribution but the experiment will take around 100BTC. It will obviously not be destroying those coins so if you would like I could return it to you or to a faucet of your choice.

The address is mhC6AucPQpezwF7tC6CKLr6tWVWeGYEHHz. Let me know if you've any questions.

Thanks.
