You guys are still way too anal. I'll remove myself from the lending forum after you remove the negative trust.

Verified.

Search my user name and Bitcoin talk... Pick any thread from the last 5 years... Look at Google's cached results it will have this address in it.... Since I've had this address nearly my entire time on bitcointalk.

My main gripe in this situation is that I am guilty until proven innocent and none of you fools can do any homework yourself.

That's my address. That's a signed message from it. Period.

I realize scammers are a big problem here but come on guys... You make it so legit people don't even want to come on here.

I've checked the address in your signature (1K4BacKKdssA5RGzaFx3D4LC9HVXjE2NvS) was indeed published long ago, as shown on Google cache.

Now, please learn what a signed message is and the difference between bitcoin and PGP.

Post the message you signed with your BTC address along with the signature. Of course, the signature along is not enough.

It seems very suspicious that an old member doesn't know what a signed message is or how it works. It would seem you're playing fool and insulting others just to get rid of the verification. So I've added negative trust until you post the properly signed message.

You can sign this message, or something else including your name and the date (something else as long as you specify the exact message you signed)

Edit
In case you're just honestly confused about this:
- Read this to learn more
- Don't publish anything until you're able to verify here your own signed message with the information you'll publish

Given the pgp signed message and my public key you should be able to read the message...

To prove that your account was not hacked, you need to sign a message from any old addresses that you have previously used on this forum to conduct trades. The address needs to be posted on an unedited post that dates back before your account "woke up".

I have no idea what you're signing here, but if the public key or whatever is in your sig, then it could have been easily modified. As i said, the only way that people will accept to verify your account ownership is mainly through signed messages.

$1k is just too much risk for anyone to take without a valid collateral though, even if you do sign a message. Just use your credit card or  apply for a short term loan irl if you really need the funds.

So is it encrypted with bitcoin address or pgp? I dont believe you even have a concept of what we are asking , or maybe you do and youre just beating around the bush. If you cannot provide a proper signed message with an address that is staked, vod will likely not even consider removing his feedback, and you may get more negative feedback.

Who's public key did you even use to encrypt that message?

So when will you sign a message? Is your PGP public key staked here as well?

Recently changed password and email address. Trust scores from light years ago.

A signed stake address would be nice for a start. Then possibly collateral too, just to be on the safe side.

#warningsigns# !!!!

Thx.  I'll remove the negative trust when the user signs a message using an old BTC address.  :/

(or of course adds collateral to his request)

Yep, tread with caution. All those red flags are sticking out like a sore thumb.

Hey Guys,

Anyone willing to loan me some Bitcoin till Friday(payday)?

Need $1000 or so.

Not sure about collateral I can put up in the short term but I'd be happy to prove my identity and establish trust.

Thanks!
Andrew

I am guessing the account was either hacked or had a change of hands. Can you provide a signed message from a stake address that is older than 3 months?

On top of that, you should know that an "identity" is NOT valid collateral.

No collateral loan, the green trust from around 2014 and:

This user's password was reset recently.

This user's email address was changed recently.
