Why are you posting on a forum when your product is in stealth mode, asking for marketing advice off other bitcointalk members. This feels like a job for a growth hacker, or marketing manager. When your product is close to being finished, you should have a detailed document showcasing what areas you should target and where you need to focus your marketing budget on.
Thank you for the clear answer. About Bitcointalk, very interesting. We underestimated this site.
If your site is crypto related then (Your site in fact has crypto exchange facility) You have made a big mistake so far. I have seen few hundreds or businesses if not thousands to become top in their niche by advertising in this forum.
People still straggle to find a site to buy Bitcoin and to withdraw bitcoin and most of these people seek help in this forum. This is the only forum that has most population in crypto niche.
If you have a marketing team then ask them to do some research about this forum. May be you will find it interesting and then feel the urge to advertise in here.
It depends really. Some project doesn't require a large amount of marketing, and some do. But looking at some projects like mixers, who probably only target whales and investors, a forum is a great way to get attention/customers.
But projects that target a wider market (exchanges, or sell/buy BTC services) - you need to target the entire crypto market, which means spending money on press releases, influencers, ads, etc.
