I think the first question that you are going to receive is what kind of gambling games you are playing? There are games that are simply unbeatable and as such you don't really need a guide except to know the rules of the game and be aware that there is no way for you to be profitable while playing those games, however there is a small minority of games like poker that can offer you profits if your level is high enough, but if you are interested in those kind of games then it is probably better that you get a book about the topic because the strategies that you can use in a game like that are incredibly deep.

Let's assume there are mechanics for gambling let's say there are academies out there willing to teach will @op have the dicipline to learn all it takes to succeed in gambling. I think what you mean is you want to learn how to employ strategy or methods so you can play effectively and win, people can teach how to play but they cannot tell you or even teach you how to win continuously in a game.

These gurus are lying if they tell you that you can beat the house, you can sometimes but not most of the time, the longer you play the game will shift to the house, so accept the reality that you cannot make money in gambling but you can have fun here.

There are many articles and videos sharing an ideas on how to play a certain game. But you need to be clear for your intention on why you gamble, you said at first that you're just playing for fun but it seems you're getting yourself into more serious situation for having losses and the thought of recovering it back by gaining knowledge.

Keep in mind that gambling is risky and cant guarantee to double your money. Thus only gamble what you can afford to lose hence if you dont win its not going to be hard to accept it. Plus learn to control yourself and have a self limit, its a must to avoid becoming addicted.

This is hard to control. This is an emotion. Controlling emotions takes a lot of practice. Bad traits in gambling such as greed and instability is emotional control.
