It is great to see a platform that is very much centered for bitcoin and alt-coins discussions and updates. I am a beginner to this forum but have been researching on blockchain and crypto since 2019.
I can suggest you some easy reads here:

as we know the beginners in everywhere will be difficult at first ,, but it doesnt means impossible,
because all the big members here are also beginners at first.

maybe the first time you need to see the rules in the forum, how to make good posting on forum and all about the forum.
Newbies - Read before posting

In here there are many ways to make extra money like:

but my suggestion is don't focus on the money first, but focus on knowledge first,
because like the other members said enjoy your journey in here  Wink Wink
because believe me the money will come automatically, comparable to how far your knowledge.

Greetings and welcome.
It is amazing how many newcomers create topics of the same type, but what to do. More links to the god of links!
Be sure to check here. Newbies - Read before posting  Wink

Links are very much appreciated due to info overload (too much information sometimes) and more often than not you just don't know where to start most of the time (when you're new to any given forum you've just got into recently). Sad

There is a very long path that we all need to travel to get to that point there are many things that are involved like share knowledge, get merits, do sufficient activity. There are even counts on that the particular combination of merit and activity can only upgrade the account.

Hi,
I just joined recently, my cousin introduced me to this forum as i was interested in bitcoin and others coins and i was free so he suggested me to work on this forum at bounties, but I am not sure yet because he told me to get high forum ranks otherwise I will not be able to make any extra income. I also want to learn everything related to coins, so I think i will try to be active here to learn first. Suggestions are welcomed!

Before searching on thing that could make you earn better to check my thread here first so that  you may know on schemes you should avoid so that you can avoid the possible damage financially and determine that you are in good place. As well read all the suggestion of the other users and apply it one by one to see if the suggested methods is effective to you or not and try another things if it fails.

Welcome to this forum buddy, this forum is really great in learning about cryptocurrency and at the same time making money, that is why I really like working on this because I have learned so many things that I am now using on my private transactions online. You should have more experience first before you earn from this because merit is important here for you to apply on some campaign that will give you profit from posting. So always remember that you need to participate well before you make money. Just keep reading and understanding some information here because it will help you to understand more about cryptocurrency.

In the meantime, everyone has given you the necessary suggestions. I would say read as much as you can. Follow some high quality members and learn from them how they discuss.
Indeed, that is what I actually doing, I always read some posts of the high-rank level in this forum because I know that I can learn so many things from them or how they created a topic.

And take note earning it was so hard (only crypto genius can attain Legendary in a short period of time lol).
You don't really need to be a crypto genius to attain a legendary rank in a short time, admittedly, it's a difficult task, but having in-depth knowledge of a particular niche and utilizing that can get you recognition and merits.
To rank up, put in effort; research and practice and also importantly; post naturally. Do not join discussions simply to increase your post count, read and contribute when necessary.

If your only motivation for coming here is just to earn money then I think you will not survive here for a very long time. For sure you will get bored as time goes by. Like what your cousin said to you, you need tons of merit first in order to be qualified on bounties/sig campaigns. And take note earning it was so hard (only crypto genius can attain Legendary in a short period of time lol).

But if you are really willing to stay here then study first. Familiarize everything you need to know and be a good member. It will consume a lof of your time but it will be all worth it in the end. The benefit you can get here is not all about the money. Gaining broader knowledge and becoming a wise money holder is priceless Smiley.

Its bad motive to come here to earn money because its wrong order all the way.
First you should learn about Bitcoin, not coins, because you came to BitcoinTalk forum. When you first trying soda, you want to try poor imitation of Coca-Cola or get to know original taste?
Second, you don't worry about ranks, just be here, learn, help others. Bang, u got Legendary rank.

Welcome Smiley

You don't have to do something that you didn't know yet and just take your time learning the things that you have to learn depending on what you want to do. For example, you want to mine bitcoin then first thing you need to do is you must understand how mining works and more. Also you need to learn the forum rules too. Use your skills on the field which your skill fit. Read, learn, repeat until your knowledgeable.

My suggestion for newbies who post like you is always the same. Don't do it to level up your account so that you can post for money.

I know it looks tempting and when you hear that you can register on a forum and make some money for a single post about nothing you can't wait to start but the road to this is long and it's going to feel even longer when you keep waiting for your account to gain rank and merit. Forget about money for now and post like you would on any normal forum. This way you won't get discouraged or start looking for shortcuts.

Remember that money may come or it may not. You're here for other reasons!

Try to contribute to the forum and create the mindset to help everyone. This forum has all the information about cryptocurrency, here you will find all the information about Bitcoin. Instead of just thinking about income, try to learn about Bitcoin. Which will be of great use to you in the future.

First and foremost, get familiarize with the concept of bitcoin as that'll be a strong background backup when contributing to discussion on the forum and also it'll help you in your journey as an investor. Now you don't have to everything about bitcoin before you can engage in conversation relating to the it but atleast have an idea so your contributions don't sound stupid when it's been read out. The forum is a perfect ground to build on your existing knowledge on what bitcoin is all about.

In regards to building yourself on the forum, you might want to read through this thread I created sometime last year titled; Advantages of engaging in quality contributions on the forum. it has some important points that could help you in developing yourself into a better forum contributor inorder to recieve the benefits that comes from been one.

Yeah my aim is learn about each and every thing related to crypto and then i will surely know which way to go, i know there are many opportunities and directions in this market, thank you for your kind and detailed reply, i am sure i will keep learning more and more following people like you.
You don't have to follow me, I am probably not even among the top 100 best members out here. By actively participating in discussions, you're going to involuntarily learn new stuff and your knowledge is going to increase every day. I don't know everything about crypto although it's been 7 years (however, I did not study its technical side) and most users out here don't know everything either. Crypto is something new, so new stuff you can learn comes up on a daily basis. Smiley

Opportunities are huge, so are the risks.

Welcome to the forum. Do you know anything about Bitcoin? If not, check out this earlier reply of mine to someone who didn't either: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54247301

Now back to your OP, I highly suggest you not to put your trust in bounties as most of them today are, unfortunately, scams and a loss of time. If you find a project you like and think has potential, go for it. Support it. But make sure you do extensive research: find out about its team (if it even exists), whether the coin is a copycat or not (which turns it into a shitcoin in an instant) etc. Sometimes, the research can be as simple as going for a web search of "X scam" - where X is the name of the project.

Secondly, don't look at BitcoinTalk as a source of income. It's not, and if you treat it as one, chances of getting in any good bounty decreases together with the chance of getting in any signature campaign over here. If you're interested in cryptocurrencies, listen here: learn, learn, learn. If you don't like the forum and are only here to make money, without willing to offend you I'll say you can already leave - it's not going to work. Or if it will, one day you'll get busted.

You may think getting merits is extremely heavy. As a beginner, it is. However, it doesn't take long until you'll have enough knowledge to have a strong point in a reply or to help someone out and you'll be rewarded for it.

As soon as you're having fun here, it's going to be a sweet journey.

Good luck! Smiley

It seems every newcomers on this forum are here to be a bounty Hunter, becareful though you can easily get blocked off here, aiming to rank up for bounties won't give you nothing than spamming this forum

Do not worry, i have been a member of other forums before crypto like mmg and tg etc. I know spamming will not take me anywhere and i am not here to spam. I am willing to give quality time at this forum and i am sure that with time i will get what i deserve.

Yawn ... first and only suggestion for now: read a lot more before posting. The question at hand has been raised many (many, many,) times, and there are currently live threads on the topic here on Beginners & Help. It's way better to initially spend some time reading through yourself, assessing the situation, and managing to gain some context on your own, and then placing some more specific questions that you may have as a result.
