~snip~ for me it is necessary, because that is the only knowledge I have at the moment.
I mean, dude this is Bitcointalk, a Bitcoin forum. Of course it's necessary, as it's the main reason why this forum was created in the first place lol.\

@Mk4
Yes of course I need time, need to read a lot and after I really understand (about bitcoin etc) then I will try to join the bitcoin discussion because this is a bitcoin forum.
And sorry, that me wrong in the sentence (I mean about Investigation) because that's the only knowledge I have at the moment.

@Quickseller
Good advice, I starting to understand at this point and next time I try to study other parts. Honestly, I also don't want to be monotonous at one point and of course hope that I can adapt here as soon as possible.
but I will not forget my main stand in the investigation, also trying to do the best I can.

@Frengki_cisco thanks for your kind words

@Lovesmayfamilis
Yes, I couldn't have written any better words for you. I learned a lot from you too, everything goes according to your advice and try to be more confident especially in investigations and of course I will try to stay alive in this forum.

@igehhh
I totally understand what you are saying. My main goal is actually not only that, as I said that I have limited knowledge of discussion forums and have little knowledge of research.
and that's my main reason why I rarely Discuss any part. It even sounds funny if I force myself to discuss with each other, without knowing what discussion I want to convey.
if it can be presented then 50% to investigate %50 to contribute to the forum and other board members (my new plan).

@SquirrelJulietGarden
Yes, added a new topic list. soon I will study it and also read more and more one by one from every link that has been published in this thread.

@COOLCRYPTOVATOR
Suggestions welcome, I also aware of that. In essence, I will try my best not to make the same mistake again (investigation) on the other hand, what you and other members have said can add new insights or awareness especially (me personally) and can also encourage new enthusiasm.

And Sorry if my english is messy Smiley

 It's good to see that you want to help the forum by exposing the abuser, but you have to make sure no one from innocent users getting punishment due to your false accusation. In the beginning, as I can remember, I have exposed many alt accounts, but later on, I realize that the evidence should be stronger than I provide. For example, just being connected with the address is not proof that they are alt. But yes it is pretty easy to detect plagiarism, there are many tools on Google you may find, even directly you may search on Google or you may search for some tools where you can check plagiarism.  However, I think that DT member is more careful now to tag alt account. I don't think without proper evidence they will tag, but from your end, you have to make sure you are not accusing falsely.

Looking at your post history, it appears that your goal in coming to the forum is to become a cop rather than to learn for yourself, which is completely wrong tbh. Being a cop, like @quickseller stated, will take you to a higher ground and eventually leave you empty because your main goal was to play a cop on the forum looking for other people's flaws and Yes! You're doing a good job, but you need to follow lovesmayfamilis' suggestion as well. Open a thread, Read, Learn, find something suspicious? Report!!!

Being a reputable member entails reporting and always contributing to bitcoin and other board conversations. Are you doing the same? If No then you are crushing on the wrong Princess.  Smiley

Buddy, I've told you more than once that you learn quickly, and you need to be more confident in your actions. Everyone makes mistakes, and as I have noticed, you accept them with understanding and a desire to avoid them in the future.

There are many topics detailed on how to search for plagiarism on the forum, I think if you properly study the topic of effective search on the forum, which Tranthidung created, you can find many guides on how to properly search for scam projects, alternative accounts, or plagiarism.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-searching-effectively-5276341

I don’t know a simple formula. Do not forget that first, this is a forum about Bitcoin, and it is always better to read what people write, and only after seeing some discrepancy in how the posts are written, you can check them for plagiarism. You should also understand that hunting for alternative cheaters is, as LoyceV once said, “fight against windmills”  Do not prioritize this activity, otherwise, you will quickly burn out. You will not be able to completely clear the forum of cheaters, but such a search does not allow them to relax and flood the forum with their bots and spam.

AFAIK, being a cheater hunter or exposing a scam is the fastest way to rank up because it is considered a big contribution to the forum and getting a good account reputation on this forum.
It's better for BitcoinTalk, rather than google articles which are an alternative to being used as capital to achieve rankings.

Your OP did a great job for everyone.

Welcome to bitcointalk. I am sure you will enjoy your time here, learn a lot and eventually help others learn about bitcoin.

My advice is to not look for “alt” accounts. Don’t be a forum “cop”. Instead, read threads that interest you and respond with questions about what is being discussed and add anything that you can add to conversations.

Forum police are very high profile, but over the long term contribute very little to the community on a net basis.

Find sections that appeal to you, read many threads in these sections, and post when you can make a meaningful contribution. Ask meaningful and insightful questions.

Once you say that, it makes a lot of sense and I try that later. Also, I will no longer find out about Tools to detect IP Addresses.
So discussing with each other about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? for me it is necessary, because that is the only knowledge I have at the moment.

Sure. It just comes down to what your sole intention here is. Discuss cryptocurrencies, or just rank up?

Yes, 2 additional sites for detecting plagiarism are very helpful. I tried using the free version and may need to upgrade to the premium version to make the process easier.
Also, for IP Tools it looks like I will resist the urge.

@_Blackstar
Suggestions are well received. I understand what you're saying and I also glad if my time can be useful in this forum (when online). because I have another job in the real world.

@FatFork
Yes, I just installed BPIP browser Extension. Very interesting especially on the Forum view, not used to it and I need to adapt first. will also read it further from the link you mentioned.

@Awaklara, in addition to these tools you have listed, I would recommend the BPIP browser extension, which lets you copy and paste posts (including bb-codes) from locked topics.

You can read more about it here: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome

I mean, you could simply just converse with us concerning Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. 🤷‍♂️ Just simply sharing great ideas and PoVs is considered "contributing" as well. We appreciate scam/spam busters, but you don't need to do it unless you probably enjoy doing it.

I probably wouldn't spend more of my time exposing more newbie accounts cheating multiple campaigns like some cheat hunters have done so far because that wouldn't end the cycle. On average new accounts created per day reach more than 300 account and I believe 70% of them belong to bounty farmers. But I'm a bit interested in knowing how many account are changing hand just by monitoring from here. But, I will still support the efforts made by the OP and the next few generations of interested users because I believe that one day some of the famous cheater hunters today will surely die and that there must be a replacement.

Just a suggestion for Awaklara, if you want to be a cheater hunter then you must have a heart of stone and never forget to get used to giving chili sauce to cheaters. If you are right and there is no bad motive behind your desire to become a cheater hunter then you don't need to be afraid about the boomerang because you are the owner.

Adding these tools below do you know Grammarly has its own plagiarism tool?

Here's the link https://www.grammarly.com/plagiarism-checker

And for the best tool for plagiarism, you can use this https://www.copyscape.com/
Copyscape is the best for me for checking and find plagiarism but you can only able to check the text if you have a premium account but you can use it free by pasting the URL.

Not all tools for checking plagiarism are not giving you the accurate result you still need to manually check them because some of the spun tools out there are very smart and it spins content looks original not copy-pasted content.

For the IP there is no tool to track them except for this forum I don't know mods has access to our IPs here but you can able to check your own IP through this https://bitcointalk.org/myips.php
But you can't use it to detect someone's IP here on the forum.

Well like I said that I'm always careless, I really don't understand if my question here might be wrong and should be kept secret.

To detect plagiarism, 99% of the time all you need to do is to simply copy some of their text, then paste it on Google lol. The majority don't even attempt to spin the phrases/statements and such.
For detect plagiarism you can use this Tools !

https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/
https://plagiarismdetector.net/

They are very good for detecting things , and you can also use them for searching for pictures when you think that there is a project with a Fake team!
I found the most with this Tools , but yeah google can do this also but its a pain when you have a wall of text you looking for.

You can check for the unedited version of the posts though, as you mentioned from your shortcomings.
Check this thread made by LoyceV - [56M posts! View unedited/deleted posts (search per post, per user or per topic)]
It should not be used as detecting plagiarism in cases of edited posts though, but it should help you at least to what you are doing.

For knowing IP addresses, I believe the admins are the only one that has access to it (correct me if I am wrong).

As for IP addresses, you shouldn't be able to see IP addresses of other people. No tool should be able to help you besides you finding an exploit.

Regarding other things, sometimes I think about how to be a good contributing user to the forum besides hunting for other Connected Alts? but the main problem (limited knowledge) in me. Maybe next time, I hope someone couan guide me and give good direction.

Today is my first time posting in meta (I hope my post is not in the wrong place).
I currently spending more time on the reputation section to browse Alt connected. I realize that I am not perfect and still have many shortcomings in this job. especially on the evidence of inaccurate accusations in the case of the same address, often making mistakes on the BB Code section including difficulty citing locked posts, often editing posts (after I realized it was wrong) etc.
In this work, I only rely on 3 tools such as:
1. Ninjastic.space
2. Bpip.org
3. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search.
I also realized that it was very risky if falsely accuse people with weak evidence and that it could be a boomerang for me. but in any case I am responsible for it. Long story short, Are there any other tools that can help for this job? maybe like a tool to detect plagiarism, detect IP address and Surely it will be very useful for my work.

Regarding other things, sometimes I think about how to be a good contributing user to the forum besides hunting for other Connected Alts? but the main problem (limited knowledge) in me. Maybe next time, I hope someone couan guide me and give good direction.
Thank you I respect all of you
