One time I put my ant miner in the bathroom with the bathroom vent fan on and an air filter on the window, Worked great. haha

I was busy remodeling the floor with tiles for my mining room.

I recommend you install 8"-10" vent fans in the ceiling and have it vent out through the roof for the cleanest setup. Think of bathroom

I think you were on the right track.

Bionaire Twin Reversible Airflow Window Fan with Remote Control

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000065DKJ/ref=asc_df_B000065DKJ5266964/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=394997&creativeASIN=B000065DKJ&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167146990738&hvpos=1o3&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4906811742098891053&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9016422&hvtargid=pla-275832104833

With a remote control for convenient adjustment, this double window fan draws in fresh, cool air from the outside or exhausts stale, hot air from inside. It can also do both simultaneously, because each of the two fans can be set independently to draw in or exhaust out, allowing the unit to exchange inside and outside air.

If you investigate a little further, I'm sure you can find one cheaper, but that is what I'd be looking for.

Problem solved, till it gets really hot outside.  You can set one fan to blow in and one fan to blow out.  Will turn the room into a freezer....

Well.. I know what kind of problem you are facing.. I had it aswell..
Is there any option, that you can move the miners (part of them) to some dedicated "mining" room, that you can build somewhere outside? If yes, go ahead and invest some $ into this.

The most important thing is to vent the hot air outside. Get an industrial quality exhaust fan or two to blast that hot air outside and you will have a good start. If you can add a smaller "cool" air intake somewhere, even if it's pulling air from inside the rest of the house, that would be good too. The most important thing for mining is to move air within the room, with the hot air being moved out. AC is a waste of electicity and the levels of AC you would need to keep up with 8 mining rigs is going to kill your profits and not be effective unless you have commercial data centre HVAC set up in your home...

Right now the highs are in the 60's here and only going to get cooler for the next few months. AC will be a requirement come next year when it starts heating up but for the next 5 months or so I would like to to rely on piping cold air from outside in.

I was thinking of building a box maybe 4' wide, 4' tall, and 3' deep to put the miners in. Pipe cool air from the outside in to the bottom of the box and suck hot air out from the top?

I have mining rigs with 6 1070's each. I have been slowly building these and now have 8 of them. Heat is becoming an issue. No so much the cards overheating but they are overheating my house.

They are in a 12 x12 room that has a window and a door to the outside. I never use the door. I was thinking of taking the door off and putting plywood over it and then building a huge box inside the room to put the miners in connected to the plywood on the door with a fan sucking cool air from the outside in at the bottom and blowing hot air out at the top.

Will this work? I am open to suggestions. I spent a lot of time and money running adequate electricity and hardwire ethernet to this room and want to keep them there but the heat is so bad now that it is not just heating up this room it is heating the adjoining room which is my bedroom.
