addresses aren't accounts. there are no accounts in bitcoin. don't fixate on individual addresses. your electrum wallet consists of many addresses and you look at the wallet as a whole not at individual addresses. you will find your wallet balance in the bottom left of the electrum window and your transaction history on the history tab.

Thanks everyone I really appreciate it.  Am I the one that needs to move it to the Electrum forum?

I believe it was the change address that Electrum wallets uses by default enabled that did confuse you. Go to Preferences , Transactions and untick the box in the picture below where it says use change address, leave it like the picture. Meanwhile as Danny said, this thread needs to be moved to Electrum subforum in the Alternative clients section as there are a lot of people who can help more there.

Ok Thanks so much again I believe I made my purchase and will study up on this as I really need to learn this stuff.  You are awesome and really saved my day and my wife killing me.  hahahaha  I was actually making small payments because of the mBTC conversion that I was unaware of.  Thanks again and have a great weekend.....

At this point it sounds like you've found all your bitcoins and that they are in your Electrum Wallet?

I'll ask the moderators to move this thread to the Electrum sub-forum now.  Users there that are more familiar with the specifics of how to use Electrum and will be better able to walk you through what you are seeing.

Note:  If you are looking at a block explorer (such as blockchain.info) and trying to understand what's going on with your wallet you are going to confuse yourself unless you understand the technical details of how the blockchain and transactions actually work.

So I think that they are measuring everything in milli bitcoins mBTC.  Witch is what has really messed me up.  I have the conversion now and would like to change that if I can.

Yes I did send a transaction just a sec ago to try it.  It has split the funds into several accounts for some reason.  I think I am close to figuring this out with your expertise.  I found the amounts when I opened the block chain.  Now how do I combine these into 1 account so that this will be easier and next time I think I know where I screwed up.  Thanks again you are a LEGEND

In Electrum..
I would like to be able to access the funds and purchase something.  Thanks again I was so stressed out you have no idea...

Ok, so if 1GRj7YZ913UfHB7wqeUxh3WTUdeeXqURxv and 1Dqa7afq9DxnefaxSYrR8oshVbRrzCvkk4 are both receiving addresses in Electrum, then it looks like you should have at least 0.14353091 BTC in ELECTRUM which should now be available for you to use.  Are you not seeing that amount (or more) available?

EDIT:  It looks like you just sent transaction ID c8a586f1aa4bfdda9bed5703ee1f282d0c0d8815614cd9d7a6f7858d0478994e from your Electrum wallet while I was typing this response? If so, then you may now have less than 0.14353091 BTC in ELECTRUM?

Its still got really weird numbers when I open those accounts and look at the details.  I'm still not sure how to see accurately what is in there

I found those under the addresses tab and then clicked on the change icon and there they were.

In Electrum?  Or in Exodus?

So what is my next step??

That depends.  Where did you find those, and what do you want to do?

Here is what I found
1GRj7YZ913UfHB7wqeUxh3WTUdeeXqURxv
and
1Dqa7afq9DxnefaxSYrR8oshVbRrzCvkk4

Where did you find those addresses?

Each of those addresses has received a single transaction.

1GRj7YZ913UfHB7wqeUxh3WTUdeeXqURxv received a transaction of 0.13638028 BTC (about $300 USD) a few hours ago.  None of those bitcoins have been sent anywhere else after they arrived at 1GRj7YZ913UfHB7wqeUxh3WTUdeeXqURxv.  They are still at that address.

1Dqa7afq9DxnefaxSYrR8oshVbRrzCvkk4 received a transaction of 0.00715063 BTC (about $16 USD) just a bit more than an hour ago.  None of those bitcoins have been sent anywhere else after they arrived at 1Dqa7afq9DxnefaxSYrR8oshVbRrzCvkk4. They are still at that address.

You've now given multiple addresses and multiple transaction ID's and nothing that you are saying matches up with any of the addresses or transactions.

You need to slow down, think a little bit, and look at your wallets.  Then you need to describe what your Exodus wallet says happened?

Both Exodus wallet and Electrum should tell you what address you sent to, how much you sent, when you sent it, and what the transaction ID was.

Unfortunately neither I clicked on the receive tab and did it that way.

You got a receiving address from your Electrum wallet somehow.  What did you do?

I guess that what I screwed up it went to the default wallet I guess??

That depends on what you did.  Somehow you got an address from Electrum (I hope) and then used that address at Exodus to send the bitcoins?  The question is what address did you send to from Exodus.  Can't you look on Exodus and see?

Here is the address It was sent to
 13gRxpRBJXp7PFd9pZsmMiyaiCKqGdAKwK

Nope.  There are no transactions to that address.  There never have been.  That is an unused address.

Which one of these is the Electrum address that you sent to?

1GsyuAKqAzVCGAezeQUvDNa8yPQoydkj76
1CmtD5Qh5GNdzDCwwgxmfH66ttk2NYsX6C

It looks like 1CmtD5Qh5GNdzDCwwgxmfH66ttk2NYsX6C is probably one of your Electrum addresses and that you probably sent 0.00843049 BTC to that address from Exodus?  If so, then the remaining 0.13747407 BTC are probably still in your Exodus wallet.

Then it looks like you sent 0.0077 BTC (about $17 USD) from your Electrum wallet to 1GsyuAKqAzVCGAezeQUvDNa8yPQoydkj76?

Here are the ones from Exodous to Electrum.

and

That's what I was thinking that it couldn't transfer that amount but it definitely transferred some because it allowed me to pay like 31 cents on the item.  So strange and being new and not that computer savvy yet dosent help.  Thanks again
