I'll read the whole thread next time...About the escrow: i did say i'm OK with it, i have no problem with an escrow holding the collateral. I just feel it's up to the one taking out the loan. If he trusts me, he doesn't need escrow to hold his collateral. If he doesn't trust me: by all means, use an escrow

Your collateral is only worth ~.062 btc, so you are either going to need to come up with more collateral or lower the amount of your loan. The value of the collateral should be worth no less then 115% of the amount of the loan.
alt coins could be as risky as not your expectation, even if the collateral is large enough, if the value was suddenly crashed, it would be ended up in loss. all'n'all alt coins has no actual value guarantee.why not just trade the ltc ?
yea, at least it won't be liable for the losses even if the price dropped (but you would be jelly if the price raised rapidly).
