So the thing is today sometime ago, I withdraw some ETH from FTX exchange to my trust wallet account!
But I got no notification of receiving the ETH. Soon after that a notification popped up and somehow all the assets (ETH) was send to some random address.

First don't bold all your text.

Doing this instead. Only bold a few words you want to emphasize. Else, don't bold anything.

You did a bad practice when transfer all or most of your money in one transaction. My advice is always make a small transaction first, then if it goes well, do the rest amount you want.

i have transferred those tokens that has value and with some extra tokens i send it back in a small amount to see if it would send it to those random address again! but it only happened in ETH network and other chain seems to be ok.. but I'm still moving my assets in new wallet

Yes it's a good choice to move all your asset to a new wallet, back couple of months ago my brother have the same issue after receiving some eth it transferred to an unknown address, in this case, it can only happen if the private key or seed phrase got hacked.

where you generate your private key

It's good to know a hard reset could put all pieces back together. You must know that, security is everything in cryptocurrency given that a simple leak or bridge either by malware or seed phrase compromise could be all it would take for someone else to charter all your assets away. From what I think, your device have got some malware installed on it. You might not have been notified as the supposed hacker must have had this disabled too.

Meanwhile, its important you confirm the keys by importing wallet on another device just to confirm so, you don't be sorry, do a hard reset on current device and import the wallet as well. Ensure you don't download unnecessary apps onto your device. It might contain malwarr as that seems to be the case now.

I don't have much assets in ETH network, but some on bsc and polygon... Should i transfer them too?
Transfer them as soon as possible, or else you might lose all those other assets in BSC and polygon as soon as the hacker realizes you have them. I think the hacker has access to your private key or seed phrase

i did check.. ftx transaction did made it to my wallet but soon after in less than 10 seconds it was sent to that address mentioned on the screenshot!
and yes I'm still trying to find where it went wrong. can't pin point the exact problem yet
It doesn't matter, what matters right now is someone has access to your seeds or private keys. Make sure you use a fresh device or fresh OS. Do not store your seeds online or on the cloud.

I'm worried that it might happen to me again that my wallet apps will be hacked or compromised, so when I saw this topic and after reading it I immediately opened my Trust wallet to check its settings if there are any more that should be done to make my wallet more secure and protected.

So I went to Security and I saw this transaction signing, it hasn't been enabled before and now I just turned it on, but I don't know how it works yet, all I know is hopefully it's an extra layer for unauthorized to try to access the wallet.  I searched for information about it but I couldn't find anything, maybe someone knows about it here.

not sure about my PC because i do have a licensed antivirus on it! and i did the transaction from my phone and it was from ftx exchange!

you cannot trust that some antivirus software will provide you with 100% protection. there are various ways in which you will be deceived, and your antivirus will not report anything to you.
to me, your case looks like you are a victim of keylogger or clipboard malware.

can you search for transaction with FTX and compare them with your addresses on the trust wallet? It doesn't seem to me that you are sure where the problem is.

I'm trying to look at better rates and once it's good enough for me, I did transferred.
Today it was a bit low on gas fee so i thought i have a token which i can exchange... that's the reason i was looking for some ETH. so i transferred it and you know the rest

As said, no way of refunding it and if you've got some other assets left, transfer them to you as soon as possible. You may have downloaded a malicious app that have contained the malware and infected your PC.

yes the first transaction was 1 year ago! i usually don't transfer assets in ETH network because of the high gas fee! on the other network i have made many transactions... only today i faced this issue! it never happened to me before! and I don't have other addresses on this device so not sure if the device is compromised
but as of no value assets are in this so i am somewhat not that much stressed to move other assets.
I've understood you why you didn't transferred your assets on ETH network because of the high fees. I've done the same but as I monitor the fees, I'm trying to look at better rates and once it's good enough for me, I did transferred.

And before you transfer and confirm, always check the address many times for you to verify that you've got the correct one.

Are you the one who received the first transaction on the address from about a year ago and how long have you been using the address? Also, have you had any issues with any other addresses you may have on the same device?

Do not take security leniently

I post a topic when I was a newbie, maybe it would help: How to secure crypto wallets

I did not mention ad blockers, ublock origin can effectively do the work on computer. Avoid ads and other means your device can be infected with malware and be careful of the people around you.

You can start reading these topics and check the other useful information on each thread: Good topics on security and privacy

I'm really curious to understand how someone else could have gotten control of your trust wallet address and be able to sign transactions.

Are you the one who received the first transaction on the address from about a year ago and how long have you been using the address? Also, have you had any issues with any other addresses you may have on the same device?
Best to move all funds to a newly generated address on a different device or hardwallet and then find ways to debug your compromised device.

Unfortunately, there is no way to refund anything.
And yes, your account is hacked for sure. Of course, you should move all of your assets from there (if you still have the same), but be sure to send them to your address to which you have full access and which is not hacked.
No, is not safe to use this app, even if your device is also infected. you would have to use a brand new device to make a new account/install an app and transfer funds.
you need to do all that ASAP.
thank you sir! will do ASAP

make sure that the new wallets are on another device. the current one is compromised and in its current configuration, you cannot consider it safe. it will be safest to do a hard reset after moving the funds.
good luck. I hope you will save assets as much as possible.

He can do hard reset on phone or reinstall new OS on computer, that makes the device to become like new.

@tjtonmoy! Note that someone might get hold of your seed phrase or private key from where you stored it, do not be careless with your seed phrase or private key, with it, your coins can be accessed. Also be careful to take care of your device, anyone that has access to it may go a long way to look for your seed phrase.

Be careful of online attacks, be careful of malware, be careful of ads and links ads, be careful of the site you visit. Make sure you avoid how your device can become compromised.

For large amount of funds, use cold wallet like hardware wallet.

The problem you might find is that you will have difficulty getting ETH into your address to be able to pay gas to transfer out your assets.  Maybe someone else knows how to help you here, but I'd be very concerned about anything tied to that address if it were me.

It does appear that you've been compromised from a quick look.  The address your funds ended up at seems to be doing this to other addresses as well.  You can see in some cases the wallet owner would even send additional ETH to their address, thinking maybe something went wrong, only to have that ETH transferred to the new address also.  If I were you, I would consider this address compromised and move everything out ASAP.  The problem you might find is that you will have difficulty getting ETH into your address to be able to pay gas to transfer out your assets.  Maybe someone else knows how to help you here, but I'd be very concerned about anything tied to that address if it were me.
