Even if he will, he's a developer and doesn't seem to have plans like you stated. I reckon the suggestion of others that instead of using your skill creating ICOs and selling to people that are thinking they can make money from it, you should go into a better development area.

Likewise, ICO hype is done and you are lucky if there will be orders but think of it, the most ICOs that are coming lately have no sense anymore. So as a developer, I think you're also concern that your creation must be useful and won't be used just for taking money of investors.

Same Idea here, I don't see the worth of selling ICO ready platform today since the hype is gone and people are trusting more on different investment types such as IEO, Maybe it's better to create something new that you can market on. Also, there are many programmers out there that are selling or providing services for the same thing, and not a lot of potential customers are coming because they know it isn't on the trend anymore.

He can market it if there are still customers but as we look at it, the market for ICO is dropping. And him as a developer, he can think of developing a better system than the ICO's.

What's more is about the mindset of him that the system he will develop is going to be useful and won't be abused by the possible customers that he will have.

The difficult part is actually separating the legitimate companies and the scammy ones. While some are very obvious scams, it will be hard to tell with a good chunk of them. They'd seem legitimate in the surface at first, then a good number of months later, boom, another scamquit has occurred in the cryptocurrency space.

It's better to not meddle with ICO companies in the first place, and work on other projects instead.

If you're going to work for ICO companies, there's a decent chance that you would end up helping a company that's planning on scamming people. There are so much projects you can work on outside of the "bLoCkChAiN" industry.

Instead of asking people here for ideas why not come out of your own and create a poll on what concept will lead among members of these forums, Cryptocurrency is still in infancy, there are a lot of good ideas to explore I just don't like the idea of creating an ICO platform because that type of platform are almost deserted, you seems late on this.

I agree with others that's not worth to make projects related with ICO's anymore. OP, you're a bit late to this train. Community website similar to Bitcointalk, I also doubt that's good idea. There was so many attempts to make alternative for Bitcointalk, but in general, none of them were successful. It would be very difficult to attract people to such new website.
OP, it seems that you're ambitious and want to make something, but you don't have good ideas now. Well, that's main problem. Crypto market is very competetive,so if you want to be successful, you have to offer something new what your competitors don't have or make something better than they are offering.

I am a full stack laravel developer and i am in the process of creating a ico platform for other users. They can purchase it for a onetime fee and i will provide free installation.

An web application like this would've been useful back in 2017. It would probably be a waste of time except you just want to add it to your catelog of projects. There's a dozen of projects that catered for ICO projects. Most of them have gone out of business simply because there are no more ICOs so a use case for such project isn't available. If you still want make blockchain projects, I'll advice that you follow the trends which at the moment is Decentralized Finance aka DeFi.

ICO gold time is over. Create that platform is it’s just a waste of your time, I don't believe you can charge for your work with the ICO platform. Many crowdfunding campaigns is now on reputed and trusted exchanges like Binance. So it will be your competition, where it will be very difficult for you to apply for a good project.

All of these ideas are already known, and there are already many services, it must certainly introduce some innovation to attract people to use his platform instead of the previous one to which they are accustomed.

I've been telling a lot of developers that were looking for suggestions to make a "real" YouTube alternative that rewards its creators with BTCitcoin...
^{- We already have a few like "DTube" and etc... that rewarded other crypto-currencies but none of them are near Youtube, both in terms of quality and reward.
- There's a market for this simply because of the fact that a lot of talented creators out there are limited when it comes to having Adsense rewards due to where they are.}

The idea will originally emanate from you, Zukerburg for example, had the fb idea, and shared it with his friends to see how they could make it work. if you've nurtured your ideas, the btt community can only come in then to give you their own opinion on it, but these days if you need someone else to think of an idea that could bring money to the table, they do not come cheap, you'll have to pay for it, if not include them as co owners in the deal.

If you want to connect with close friends to discuss about bitcoin, create a group on social media (facebook, whatsapp etc) and add friends, you can increase the number of participants with time, but creating a website like btt or reddit, you'll get zero traffic, unless you do things (paying them to post) that once you stop, the traffic evaporates.

Unfortunately mate this is going to be the tough part— thinking of good ideas. If I had a great idea that I think could potentially generate me good money, chances are, I'm going to do it myself instead of sharing it online. Get your creative juices going! Best of luck.

This is not a good idea, we have so many websites that have tried this but have failed to succeed like Bitcointalk has. The latest in the long pile of Bitcoin forum graveyard being Cryptotalk. The ICO and IEO hype is long gone.

Maybe you can try;
- A technical analytics website for traders but with a little more features than what others offer because trading in cryptocurrency and crypto futures is still a growing thing.

I don't think that is also a goo idea too..I mean there are lots of existing bitcoin community that if we create another, it is more likely that it will be deserted if after a few weeks or months. If however you are going to monetize or have a feature of "post to get paid" then it would be polluted by by spammers who are only posting for the sake of receiving pennies.

Because the ICO hype is over. As I see it, there will be little to nothing incentives it can give to other people due to the fact that people are now getting smarter on where they can invest or put their money to grow wealth.

If you are going to browse in Altcoin Announcement Section, you can easily distinguish that most of them doesn't have any real life application which gives them value in the long run. I agree with @joniboini, it would be very beneficial for a lot of users if you're gonna build a mempool viewer for monitoring pending tx and tx fees, on chain coin platform which can help determine the flow of any coin on an exchange (for traders) etc..
