It's also not fair that some guy who appeared "trusted" took this guy for a ride and scammed him. Claiming unauthorized use is the lesser of the two evils, by far.

It wouldn't be fair (probably illegal too) to claim unauthorized use because it's not what happened.

Making any purchase off a website will allow you to use the chargeback/dispute feature.

Unless you used a "Donate" button which may well mean you're S.O.L if you didn't pay with a credit card or use a different IP address from normal. (so you could claim unauthorized use)

I did loose $50.00.  I am going to try to do a charge back, but the site I went to seems like it set up to prevent that.

Can you go into your paypal and give us a screenshot of the transaction?  (Be sure to black out any personal details)

If there is an unconfirmed transaction, it still shows up in the transactions log. It's just that your balance doesn't get credited. I believe that the OP hasn't gotten any transactions into his log; have you? That might be the issue.

I'm not sure which wallet service doesn't show 0 confirmation transactions.

knightkon - I have left feedback for JerryCurlzzz asking him to give us his side of the story.

Dumb question but what fee was included in the transaction? There is a stress test currently under way which is majorly slowing down many, many bitcoin transactions.

Just a thought, ignore me if a fee above whatever Coinwallet (or whatever they're called) is using to spam the network.

Paypal always sides against Bitcoin - just do a chargeback.

The admins can tell if messages or PMs have been deleted, but not sure if they will bother since you haven't actually lost any money.

This was the last I heard from him.  He deleted all of the posts he made on his threads.  How can I warn about him and will it effect me if he retaliate against me though feedback/trust?

Who scammed you and for how much?

You can't really stop people from leaving you retaliatory feedback but if you post the evidence other people will leave negative if appropriate.

I am giving him a few hours, but it does look like he scammed me.  He is a hero member, so I do not know if my (-) trust will have any effect on him.

So lemme get this correct, did he scam you?

And don't worry his negative feedback will have no effect on your account if the person giving it is not from default trust, which I doubt as DT members are very trusted.

I just did a transaction with someone.  I am not sure yet, but it looks like they are trying to screw me.  Claimed over an hour ago they were sending bitcoin and I have received nothing yet.  Can i avoid receiving (-) comments from him if I leave a (-) trust rating for him?  I did nothing and sent first and now nothing from him and he logged off after I sent to him.  Advise please?  I am a newbie until Tuesday and I do nto want to ruin my account when I did nothing.
