There are lot's of negative effects of technology to our humanity. Though it makes our life more easier it also makes us lazier. I mean to point of student nowadays are not anymore fan of reading books. They prefer to read unsubstantial feeds on social media like gossips or trends of their idol instead of goodreads from good books. To bad for the new generation hope we can find a good resolve
Some people argue that technology is taking over our lives and is having a negative effect on area such as personal relationships, Freedom, privacy, people's independence and education.
Health is the very big thing that becomes the negative effect of technology to the children. Because they don't have exercise and there eyes at early age has already a negative response because of gadgets and some become easily got sick.
Technology is what make humans strive for existence. Children being addicted to phones, computers and other technology gadgets is not an excuse. It is about parents balancing their lives and enjoying it as children

I think that in the short term there will be many advantages, but there will be many disadvantages in the long run among people such as obesity, destruction of creativity etc
It makes us totally dependent on it. Without it we would be like students. But if we understand it and know how to use it, we can become a genius

Negative impact of technology has change society and cultural norm. Thought the positive impact is enormous, but the modification of social value has make technology more harm than good.

Yup that was true. When I was a kid we don't have any gadgets, we play in our backyard every afternoon after school and ever weekend. I am very thankful because I enjoyed my childhood life. But now a days I see many children only playing their gadgets, I am sad because they not yet experience what I'd experience when I was a child playing outside. Hopefully someday millennials children experience the real life on being a children.
With the onset of technology, the human race has lost a lot of jobs to robots and now we have a lot of employed people whose skill has becomes redundant since robots have taken over their jobs and the robots do it efficiently and even more quickly. As technology progresses we are going to lose more jobs.

exactly and spoon-feeding. Everything they need in their studies is just one click in their browser. auto search, auto translate and auto everything, then during the exam they have nothing to remember because they have not really studied but just been spoon fed by new technologies.

Its better for the children to play with their IPads rather than they play outside with the super hot weather that can cause heat strokes. I remember there are already many students who join the athletic meets died due to heat. Pollution is a major factor and the climate changing why the children are always looking on their ipads.
But as a parent it is our duty to keep everything in balance, we must give time to our children to use the Ipads and a time to read books, watch television, chatting with the family, and other activities. It is not the fault of the children why they are focused on Ipads it just means that the parents are so busy that they give their children Ipads do they will not disturb them.
So if we dont want children to keep staring on Ipads let us not buy one and spend quality time with our children.
Amongst all its advantages and helpful aspects, there are also some negative and bad stuff that is prompted by technology. I think one of that is the loss of privacy in may facets of life. People has lost so much privacy because everything now can be checked and surveyed due to technology, cameras, wiretaps, and so many more things that technology brought forth have made that happen. Another thing is addiction, many people have really become addicted with the use of technology that they don't function effectively as a person anymore.
I think the negative effects of the technology is that the kids are getting addicted to it,
They seems like they could live a day without it like every minute of the day they have to have it beside them,
They are already forgetting how to have fun outside the house most of the kids prefer being alone in their room chatting with their friends or just in front of their computer or phones .

The only thing that comes to my mind is being lazy and having a weaker body compared to those people that are physically active working outside, this is actually based on my experience before i got hooked up in playing computer games, i was strong back then and i can run miles but now it will take only 15 mins before i get tired.

It's not the technologies to blame. Children just shouldn't use it excessively or parents shouldn't allow them to. They need to find a balance here.
Anyway, the impact is generally good and the positive effect is a lot bigger.
