A lot of the technology people have at home also helps kids to study, but yes, tv's, pc's, games and phones can steal a lot of the focus kids should rather have on doing homework and studying.

1. CONSTANT DISTRACTION

Our phones (and technology in general) is a constant distraction in our day and is eating up valuable minutes of our lives.

2. ADDICTION

My alarm on my iPhone goes off at 6.30am each morning and what’s the first thing I do before even getting out of the bed? I check Facebook, LinkedIn and the News.

3. POOR SLEEP HABITS

Some of the negative effects of technology can be linked to the effect it has on sleep habits. We get sucked into online activities that keep us up too late and the constant stream of information can make it difficult to turn off our brains.

Actually there is many negative effects using technology, one of the negative effects is addiction always using phone , tablet or what... while eating , when in the CR , after eating , It become busier and busier there is no time in family or for yourself or our self time , lack of physical activities and more. Children used to be in the streets playing some streets games , now children become more busier on the technology , touching here touching there , always in the house playing some online games. Lack of empathy the constant stream of violence by watching TV, in social media , YOUTUBE and many more It become more violence. Lose of eyesight and hearing because of always in the screen of the phone the screen of the phone have a radiation and lack of hearing because putting headphone or earphone. There is so many negative effects using technology.

You are right. Not only children but also parents are also affected by technology. You may put to test that how many time a wife and a husband speak with eachother in house. They are also spending their time with smart phones or pads on social media. There are many distopic thoughts about negative effects of technology.

Pretty kewl right?

Technology disconnects us to the people around us, without us realizing it, kids/teens nowadays can't live without gadget, internet, or computer, they use it 24/7. I remember Einstein said " I fear the day that technology will surpass human interaction, the world will have generation of idiots", which is somehow happening today (skype, facebook messenger, twitter). Technology is making our lives easier, but I hope not in this way.

I recognized that in Vietnam, more and more people start using broken English and their native tongue get very weird in term of grammar and word order, and it's so funny & odd that Vietnamese people nowadays are so dependent when it come to translating Vietnamese to English because they tend to abuse google translate a lot, by no mean that gg translate is a poor tool, it's an great tool to be honest, but there are still some gap technology can't close, my thought as a translator Cheesy

technology taking very big role in the world. to day everything depends on technology without technology we can't lead our life. from morning to evening after sleeping also we have to need technology only. to day most of the youth addicted to technology spending a lot of time for watching videos, listening music, and dating and playing online games. and few people are misusing technology for that reason more problems raising now days.so much you need that much you have to use for your needs.

Exactly. Most of the teens now are into computer and internet. They now have more time for it than having a life outside. I've seen on the TV that there are ponzis and other cyber crimes perpetrated now by teens. It goes to show that they are using technology in a wrong way.

Being dependent to the technology is bad for us. Just like how birds cannot be released to the wild again after being captive and being feed for a long time.

we all can think that the positive side of technologi is more than the negative.
many people get everything easier because of it.
and many people become rich because of it.

Yes, I agree. Not everything about technology is good. Perhaps 60% of it is bad. Nowadays, technology has been used for various of illegal and bad activities, such as scamming, pornography, gambling and more.

The impact in technology in our lives, today, is unmeasurable. We use technology every day, in different ways and we do it to harming up our lives or the society we live in. The disadvantage maybe loss of physical workout.

Well for me, the evolution of technology really affects the daily lives especially of the young ones. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter etc, have effects to people because you can see, watch and read everything and anything on Facebook and Twitter. So be extra careful especially parents..there's a lot of violence and adult topics on the internet.

Yes this cause the children on lack of physical activities that makes their bones less functionable, this also cause a lack in communication with other person that will make him to be lonely someday and will want to play games and use social media in future. This is a bad thing

Technology per se is not bad; more like it aids in making our lives easier. The problem is with the moderation in the usage of technology. It is still in the commerce of the guardian in managing the time usage of technology just like in your example. Using technology should always be accommodated with discipline in learning how to drop your gadgets and so.
