I will say Social media (Technology) making people un-social. You can see this everywhere. Everyone is busy with these smart phones. No one bother who is sitting besides you. If your internet is not working then you can see around.

The negative effects of technology range from country to personal. Higher cost for a country to maintain the infastructure due to having newest technology, and where do the money come from? which is all the tax payer money and we need to fork out more money indirectly for the technology. Technology indeed can let us communicate with people from the other side of the world and many more innovative things, which will make us more lazy depend on technology for everything, less face to face meeting with friends and family members.
