well, these people exist and we need to learn to accept it.
whether they are wrong, negative or spreading FUD, the result is all the same.
if someone is wrong or if someone takes advice from someone who is wrong, they are the ones losing. and in here there needs to be someone losing for someone else to win.
if they didn't dump we could never buy cheap bitcoins this month!

Basically, there are two type of people here in the Bitcoin community. One, there are people who have a strong faith in Bitcoin and is really supporting the cryptocurrency and two are people who are always negative about Bitcoin despite its historic rise and proven resiliency. Of course, there can be people in between maybe a little bit positive and negative at the same time just content on watching what can happen on Bitcoin.

Negative news had been reigning the past many weeks until there came an assurance that split is not anymore a big possibility which resulted into Bitcoin soaring like a freed eagle into the open. The negative news gave way to a more vibrant and forward-looking market. Now, buyers and investors are back into the action.

Negative people (that is for now) have to be silent as they maybe "enjoying" eating their own words!
people are always been carried away by there emotions, thats why they have been doing it, we cant blame them because of their realization instead we need to encourage them so that their negativity will turns into positivity.

I don't think it is within our right to say other people who think negatively about Bitcoin to shut up. I myself always want to see two sides of the story could you imagine us only listening to positive things for Bitcoin? That part will I see is wrong because I know people are just hyping Bitcoin by that time. By having other opinions both positive and negative you will see that some part of the people don't agree with each other and they do have different views on one topic.

"Negative People" isn't best term since most of them actually are bitcoin hater or altcoin users who wants to see bitcoin dead or useless. Just leave them alone.

I seriously can't believe there being any actual, I mean legit Bitcoin haters. In most cases people tend to blame Bitcoin because they fail to understand how it works, because they are always too late with buying, because they lose with gambling, etc. In other words, the temporary "hate", or better said, dislike, has always a reason behind it. In most cases these people complain about Bitcoin, and even threaten to move to altcoins because Bitcoin isn't doing this or that fast and cheap enough, are still using Bitcoin. Cheesy It's because they realize that altcoins don't offer any sort of solution to their 'problems'. Take Ethereum as example - it was supposed to offer people faster confirmations, and above of all, cheaper confirmations. At the end, Ethereum itself had to deal with the same issues Bitcoin has been dealing with for quite some time.

Well it has been very hard for others to trust investments since ROIs are uncertain. We cannot blame them, we cannot change their mindset and make their negativity into positive. Them, eating their words should be a lesson for them and start trusting Bitcoin and what can Bitcoin do. Glad that I'm on the positive side. Roll Eyes

That is not negativity, but rather people with hidden agendas. If you can manipulate the market by spreading negative sentiments and creating panic, people will sell their coins and the price will go down. You then pick up bargains, because you know the price will bounce back up again and you will make nice profits. ^grrrrrrrr^

These people do this with every little event that might shift the price.

As was have others are saying, bitcoin price is purely speculative. So its either a news that is positive pushing the price to new heights or negative news will pull back the price. The latter can be easily cause by a lot of people here that's spreading a undesirable information without facts just to sow panic to serve their purpose. I guess that's how it worked and still up for us to whether to follow them or not.

i disagree.
actually i say there are only 3 kinds of people
1- those who believe in bitcoin.
2- those who don't believe or like or want bitcoin
3- those who are parrots.

the first group is either silent people who are enjoying every drop as buying opportunity, or are FUDsters who short bitcoin and spread FUD and then buy at the very bottom. this group is now enjoying their profits.

the second group stays away from bitcoin no matter what.

the third group are the worst. these idiots are just repeating anything they read just like a parrot. if you say price is going to $3000, you'll see them repeating it in their next comment and if you say price is dropping to $1500 they'll do the same.

he's right, But sometimes, there are also people who believe in bitcoin (first group) but when there is an issue about prices going down or up, they also roaring, and fooling people and then take advantage of the people he successfully influenced by his comments. How do you think about people like this.

It is very common when there is something that is getting really popular or has been very popular there will be always a set of people probably, that has nothing to deal with their life so that they always criticize the other . While they are eating their words they are also getting upset because the thing that they are always criticizing is still in the process of getting stronger than ever and that is bitcoin .

Those negative people may spread FUD mainly due to two reasons.Either they might be promoters of their altcoins and just want to make bitcoin investors panic and make them sell their bitcoins or they may be big whales who just try to make use of the opportunity and spread negative news about bitcoins so that they could buy bitcoins at a cheaper price.

Or they are people who are really being paid just to spread alot of lies and FUD about bitcoin. The FUD waves some somewhat died down. But rest assured that they will not be silent forever and will be back with more FUD here. Only sad thing is that newbies are really affected by those FUD that they don't think twice or maybe verified what has been said and will just immediately push the sell button.
That might be true, most of the time users who were spreading constantly involve into such activities. They study well about the market and miscalculate the market and create FUD among the users. Here too, mainly the low level users were affected much based on the FUD spread by those negative personalities.

I was one of the victims of the FUD spreading around here in the forum. I was a total noob back then that when I immediately read some posters here and check that the price is going down, I instantly made the decision to sell. Later on, regretting my actions and so that stuck in my mind not to listen and make your own better judgement before bailing out. Because for sure, you gonna regret that decision. They seems to be quiet, but come Aug 1 they will start a new wave of lies and uncertainty so I hope noobs will not fall for it. Just saying.

Good thing here though, there are also people who have fully trusted bitcoin and will try to counter the arguments of those people that love to spread FUD in this forum.

I'd argue that the people "who are always negative about Bitcoin" aren't a part of our community.

To be a part of the community you have to support Bitcoin the project before Bitcoin the investment. And anyone who is always negative is clearly a critic. They don't want to be part of the community, they want to find fault in it.

Ignore the noise and keep hodling on for dear life!

That's what I usually do. I just laugh at them and try to counter argue. Classic example is a thread that will come up multiple times saying that bitcoin will not survived, bitcoin is dead, etc. I just ignore and hold on my bitcoin because I know that they are wrong and that bitcoin will survived and going strong as evident of the market price.

These type of negative people that you have mentioned have created a hype about the bitcoin price downfall after august 1 due to which many investors were afraid of it. Seeing the rise in price during the past couple of days those people surely have a pain in their ass.   Grin

Yeah , this is really a big thing and also I mentioned about this matter in this forum in many threads and many times .
In the last week many people were really Making own self and other stupid by thier negativity and that was resulting into down in the price because many people were selling their btc for the fiat , so that at least they don't loss thier money in the crypto currency , but many positive thinking people explained about it very well and told how to manage your Bitcoin in better manner so that there remains no chance to loss the Bitcoin or anything and make huge profit after the fork , so after that time the value and demand of the Bitcoin get increases .
Well here in my opinion mostly are negative , but people got the positive thinking by the official announcement that how to protect the Bitcoin .

There are always those kind of people in every business.

Well, now those "negative" people are feeling in in their faces. "You reap what you sow"

We couldn't make everyone to likes bitcoin, they have the right to hate it.
