there area hell of a lot of real projects and products listed on the AE. - 40 !!!! 40 assets out of 310 had any trading volume in the last week (https://nxtblocks.info/#section/assets_exchange). 40 assets are "hell of a lot of real projects".

The question is why all NXT promoters are lying about NXT features / performances Huh This is something i will never understand.

Why is it so hard to admit : "We are still small but we are working day and night. Stay tuned" instead of lying ?

AE is working and it's a good start to list your asset. I recommend it, but 2 months after lauch is still a tiny market...period.

I think nobody knows why the NxT supporters tend to lie constantly, they're probably not sure themselves.  It must be some kind of protective mechanism.  I agree with your assessments, you've been posting the truth.  NxT supporters are somewhat delusional, that's ok.  However, their missionary activities which resemble crazy church supporters are definitely not OK.

Hey NxT guys I don't like to be missionized!  We don't want to be missionized!  Get it!  There's the Nxtforum and you can stay there in your circle, that's fine.

Why bother making a new sockpuppet to bash NXT? We all know its you TaunSew, and  we all know you hate NXT... from time to time... you have more flip flops in your record than a Walmart in Hawaii.

Furthermore, there's nothing in your quoted gentleman's text that was incorrect. I can verify this as an active user of NXT.

Why can't you admit that there needs to exist a synergistic relationship between NXT and NEM for both products to be a success??

Yet even further still, why do we keep bumping this idiot's thread?

as we all know utopianfuture was caught having a large amount of sockpuppets in own allegedly fair and egalitarian project and had to go and say good bye re-joining the project with different nicknames (Hi UTOPIA i know u r reading my nifty boy Smiley)

now ppl are not talking about this cuz it makes them look like utter hypocrites.  i can talk about it tho.

Quote from: Come-from-Beyond
If the devs r smart they will rebrand NEM. This coin has nothing to do with "fairness" (UF ruined his own idea) nor with "new" movement (noone explained what is new in repeating scheme invented by FrictionlessCoin). Frankly saying, the devs don't have a choice, if they stick to the original name and idea they will show that they endorse scam initiated by UF. I call it scam, coz NEM has nothing to do with bringing economy back to people unless we r talking about those chosen ones who will control a quarter of all the coins.

~CfA~

Instead of focusing on NEM, NXT developer Come-From-Above should at least stop spreading lies about Nxt. Their web page still says its the fastest crypto while Ripple which was made 1 year before Nxt is at least 150 times faster (thats not 150% but 150 times faster).

Edit: it also says there is no fees for asset exchange despite charging even for placing or removing orders which is unheard of in financial world (not to even mention that you are paying for order to be placed in almost 5 minutes which is also unheard of in financial world (so much about speed).....and I am not even gonna go into fact that over 95% of assets listed there are created by devs with only intent to scam people for money......everyone go buy some nxt and buy google and facebook and apple on their exchange, I heard that general electric, coca cola and procter and gamble are coming too! rofl)

Moron. Spreading complete fud about NXT is not the way to go.....

CfA is not Come-from-Beyond, not even slightly.
Your claim on Ripple being 150 times faster is complete bollocks,
The order placement fee for NXT AE  is tiny (1NXT right now, going lower soon),
The order speed is slow by design which means that HFT/bot trading is not possible on NXT AE
And although there are some scammy assets (like in everything) there area hell of a lot of real projects and products listed on the AE.

I like NEM and want it to be a success, but this sort of FUD pisses me off.

Really? Lets calculate, it takes 10 confirmations for NXT to be transfered. That is at 1,7 minute per block 17 minutes (for full confirmation it takes  1 day but I will not calculate with that to make it look better on NXT). Ripple takes 5 seconds. 5 seconds is 12 times less then 1 minute so 12*17 minutes = 204 times. So Ripple is at least 204 times faster then NXT so stop spreading lies, its easy for anyone to see through it.

I got charged over 100 NXT because I had to keep removing and increasing my offers on NXT AE and I didnt even do any trades yet, so I got charged 5 USD for not even doing any trading which is even more then Goldman Sachs would charge me for real trade.

If NXT AE is on purposely irritatingly slow then I really dont understand that. Since beginning of 1990s almost every company offered Real Time trading, so its one of the weirdest decision ever to make it extremely slow so its basically not even possible to trade normally.

Out of 170 assets how many is real assets? rofl

I think instead of spreading lies about NXT it would be a lot better if you change the web page to be honest one, it doesnt help NXT too much when people see they are not getting what they were promised.

I feel sorry for the guy. Without him, there would have been no NEM. If he hadn't made that one silly mistake (forgetting to log off), all of this would never have happened. Sad

wait wait.. what silly mistake?  and what happened?

He was arguing about some other coin under a different account name, forgot to log out and change IDs once and accidentally commented with his UtopianFuture account, exposing the fact that he had created sock puppets to help promote NEM.

Later he admitted to having "a few" sock puppets, but that hardly means that "NEM is a scam."

I have to admit the way he handled stepping down was pretty honorable. Meanwhile we all just booed and threw tomatoes at him.

But the real point here is you should ignore everything C freakin A has to say. He is nuts.

Regardless the sock issue is unsubstantiated.  There is 4 billion NEM versus 1 billion NxT.  A NxT whale acquired 40 million NxT in October for 1 BTC.  To have the same equivalent power in NEM you would have to create 160 sockpuppets (to receive the equivalent of 160 million NEM).

For argument's sake if anyone wanted any semblance of control then they would have to create minimum 500 socks to get 15% of NEM.  That's 500 times of bypassing taint analysis, bypassing the anti-spam features on this forum, et cetera, all for a coin which had zero value back in January.

Even if he did do that - there's dozens of coins out there where the developer takes more than 15% for themselves.  As well, even though UF may had been the organizer, anyone technically could had done it if that was their motivation.

this being said this is all hypothetical - no one ever submitted proof that anyone has more than 5 sock-puppets.  As well taint analysis never revealed anyone with more than 5 socks.  The NODE coin team, which involved their own taint analysis, weren't able to find any sock masters with more than 5.

Granted that's 5 times more than the average participant but the number of those sock masters is very small (IIRC less than 4 in NODE's case) and it doesn't change overall distribution and I doubt any sockmaster intends on being a long term holder.

That being said, given the current value of NEM and the supposed future value of NODE, if another NEM-styled call for participation were started today then yes people would probably abuse it and create 200 sockpuppets.

We had this argument 5 times already. And I wasn't even trying to argue about anything this time, just trying to provide a fair summary of past events.

I'm pretty sure Come-from-Above isn't a Nxt developer. Perhaps you meant Come-from-Beyond.

Both are from Russia and have atrocious spelling and tend to troll, so it's possible, although I have a list of accounts who I have associated with CFA - many of them have similar spelling, trolling behavior and a tendency to name themselves after reputable developers.

And they are both obsessed with NEM.

Edit: although with such pretty girl on NEM page I can understand their obsession with NEM. Maybe community should donate some WankCoins to them so they can put them to good use.
