I think the rules to be picked from the waiting list will be tighter than they were in the original registration so as a newbie it could be next to impossible to get int from the waitinglist.

I suggest adding to the stakeholder list those people who confirm their identity using accounts in social networks (facebook, vkontakte) or some other way. They should send a PM with their data to a person in charge. As for me, I'd add to the list all others. I don't understand all these worries about sockpuppets: there are too many real people and it doesn't matter if some of them holds multiple accounts.
I have four friends waiting and they are real, that is why I suggest doing that thing firstly for those who are not against to open their identity privatly to some NEM person. And then think about others, as for me, I'd add them all

This made me think of SEO

With the resources we have now, we could start optimizing our website now for keywords. Yes, it will be easy for us to be indexed for Nemcoin, however there are many companies and organizations that come up for a search of "nem". In addition, we could also start optimizing our website for other keywords and phrases such as:

Crypto currencies (for beginners)
Digital currencies (for beginners)
Alternate crypto currencies (for beginners)
2nd generation cryptos
Etc.

Also, there are terms that newbies type in that we would necessarily think of that an SEO can find out.

Optimizing our site so we are high on the search rankings should be started right away because it takes months for an SEOs work to take effect.

I am not an SEO. But my thinking is that we want people researching crypto currencies to find NEM.

Also, I feel this is a time to start creating "content". This is the name of the game now when it comes to online marketing. What is our message? And we need to start spreading this message now. We dont need to have a coin made to do this. It takes months to do this.

Also these days any start up that has any chance of really making its mark hires a Content Officer as well. This is very important if we want to go mainstream.

I was thinking it might be handy to compile a list of stakeholders with useful skills. That way it'd be quick and easy to locate and ask for services related to their skills.

Some areas I was thinking of:

Graphic design (for infographics/logos etc.).
Web design (for... web design).
Economics (obvious reasons).
Programming/computing (obvious reasons).
Public relations (dealing with the community as an official NEM representative).
