i think "NEM" itself is not bad as it now means something more, bigger than a coin.
NEM hasn't that prob" as some unmentionable cryptos.

unbelievable I bought a share like 2 weeks ago and the IPO funding is already done brilliant!!!!! Shocked

I have suggested this in the nxt forum aswell, actually thats how I found out about NEM. Is it possible to make a raspberry PI, userfriendly Node / forging system? Something like Minepeon for BTC? The current way to run NXT forging over a PI took me way too long Sad

I would be more than willing to contribute to a bounty for that.

The forging mechanism is not yet fully developed, but I think its safe to say that it will be fairer to the newcomers than the NXT mechanism. In other words it will not be wholly based on the amount of NEM you own (POS) like in NXT.

You can look at the dev plan to read up on it (plz look for a link the registration threads) or find my post a few pages back where I tried to explain it allthough I'm not sure my explanation is 100% correct.

As I understand it:

The first part of the audit will (obiously) be just collecting intel. Searching for dupicate hashes and unreasonable amount of stake bought by the same person. This is the stage we're in right now.

The next part will be a public thread where all the suspicous people can comment on what they are being suspected of to resolve possible false positives.

After that we should have a relatvely clean stakeholderlist.
