There's really no comparison. Nemus has issues.
NEMs team is so put together. Not to mention over 1200 unique active stakeholders.

NEM since Numus coin is a scam by Shimal using the names Duff_man, as well as Numus
Ok, lets see how hard this is to figure out. Here is some old dns information.
http://who.is/dns/numus.org
http://domainnewly.net/www/numus.org
Notice the name Shimal Harichurn and email shimal.harichurn.gmail.com
That email is the same email address used by duff_man on his bitcointa.lk profile
https://bitcointa.lk/threads/for-hire-visual-web-designer.205394/
Also here
https://github.com/ShimalH/digitalcoinj/blob/master/AUTHORS
We see the name Shimal Harichurn used with [email protected]
Also http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/topic,625.0.html where ShimalH announces him launching coinmart.
wow he made this way too easy.

Its is rather obvious:

0 to 0.08 BTC for an equal stake in NEM, which appears to have active development, and a community already VS a 0.1 BTC 'minimum investment' into a 2.5% Numus pre-mine which might not even exist.

I'd save the 0.1 BTC for NEM, Numus is not worth the gamble in my humble and biased opinion.

NxT does fit some characteristics of a scam - a flawed distribution and then BCNext, the original developer, who fled out of nowhere and reportedly sold all his stake and no longer contributes.  At least Satoshi kept his coins.   Grin

Back on the original topic on hand.  The scam accusations about Numus aside, Numus is another mining coin and it's not 2009 - the mining coins are seen as environmentally irresponsible (Satoshi likely never predicted the use of GPUs, Asics and Pools) and they're all being killed at the moment by professional miners.  Another mining coin is reason alone, even if Numus was legit, to stay away from Numus.

For one labeling Nxt a SCAM does not help your cause. Maybe you don't like some things about Nxt, but it is not a Scam.

If Numus is a scam by all means tell us why. And while you're at it, tell us what you think if NEM too. If you got the time, it will probably be as long as my posts, which I'm catching shit for. I'm realizing I got to be mire quick and to the point around here lol Grin

Anyway, I read the thread, and I didn't get the feeling I was presented "proof". Maybe that's my fault. Maybe I should have slowed down. Tell me the reason. All I got was he was using a sockpuppet to promote the coin. Dishonest yes, was there more? What did I miss?

Good looking out btw

I just read over the entire thread and whitepaper of Numus. They for one are very different. There is really no comparison. NEM is clearly more advanced and serious. Numus touches on a problem that all cryptos have in marketing. But offer no details of a solution. Also, early investors spilt 2.5% of the coins. Much different than NEM because they have participants, not investors. They also will receive 1 million NEM at launch. Numus is also a clone that will have none of the proposed features at launch. Mining, lotto? The list goes on why these two should not even be compared in the same thread. They are in different worlds. Also, fees will be destroyed in Numus. I am no economist, but this brings up some concerns.

Finally, there is already discussion on the Numus thread of some dishonest behavior by the devs. By all means they could be great guys and this could just be trolls. They are offering escrow, but the rate is rather high.

If a comparison is to be done, NEM should be compared to Ethereum. This is an idea that is much more in the same ballpark with NEM.

Are you even serious, you looked over the thread and you didn't read what I wrote that completely and without doubt shows that the coin is a scam. Scam as in they will take your money and disappear.

The guy SimnalH or whatever is on this thread trying to push his fake scam if you look. Seriously if anyone does invest after reading the thread thoroughly then honestly I don't think anyone can help them.

Ok, I mentioned that it might be a scam. I guess I said dishonest. Give us the rundown by all means lol

Would be better to buy NEM than NUMUS when I'm looking in the Discussion Thread of NEM. So many posts with ideas, updates etc.
Things there going well.
In all fairness NEM was announced a while ago, around 4 months if I'm not mistaken and it's community is much larger than Numus', but Numus was only announced a week ago. If I had to pick two of the most promising alt-coins for 2014 though these would be my 2 picks.
