"A beautiful mind' is a great inspiring movie, have seen it at least 10 times. I think some great minds are working on this project. Correct me if I am wrong but with Dragonflypay you can buy xem, send the xem to somebody else who in turn can turn xem into fiat money?
As far as I know Dragonflypay will be a remittance app and there will be no mention of NEM or XEM on the app, but it will be built on the NEM chain using NEM tech and fees for transactions will be paid by Dragonflypay so the users won't touch XEM directly.
There is another project though called Crypto Apex that is working on fiat <-> XEM.
(I'm not directly involved in either project so I'm not exactly sure)
Yes, you can say that about Dragonflypay.com. However, NEM will not be conspicuously absent from being mentioned, but more so insidiously over time.
Crypto Apex is not just fiat <-> XEM. It will have other trading pairs that are relevant, too, but mostly NEM centric and BTC <-> XEM/Fiat. While we are on the subject of Crypto Apex, it is in very late stage of development and is scheduled for internal testing on some finished parts in the coming weeks. Crypto Apex, will be the first Exchange in the world that won't keep any user balance in the exchange, even if you want to. We just don't! Hence, it has nothing to steal or hack into. Balances are kept in your own wallet and you trade what you want to trade.
