Cryptoland is funny when it comes to price analysis

1. before launch: coin x is gonna be great! Gamechanger! To the moon and especially beyond bitcoin.
2. at launch: hodl! No one's gonna dump price will go boom
3. at first dump (1 hour after 2.): dump is good! Coin x at cheap prices!
4. at 5% rebounce: see! Coin x is gonna hit #2 on coinmarketcap within days!
5. day after & 20% lower: weak hands are dumping, cheap coins!
6. several weeks later at ridicously low prices: this coin is for the long run, not for speculation. We have a great community and the best devs!
...
7. coin x gets removed from some shady exchange with a trillion other coins waiting the same destiny.

Not saying this is the case for XEM but evey single price speculation post/thread looks alike.

Your NEM client stores your private keys, addresses and other valuable information in .wlt (wallet file) and .adb (addressbook) files.

It is wise to have proper backup of those files.

You can locate them if you use Windows here:

C:\Users\[your user name]\nem\ncc\

Both files will have name same as what your wallet is named but they will have extensions .wlt and .adb

Make copies of them. Remember they are protected with password you've set up for your wallet. Make sure you don't loose/forget that password.

Warning: Please do not use the built-in feature to back-up your wallet! Most likely it will generate incorrect data and backup will NOT be usable. We appologize for this issue, it will be fixed in the next release.

No and no. We haven't had time to send out late redeemers or socks yet.

The reason for the low price is because people keep dumping at 10-20 BTC at a time to push the price down to buy more XEM.

No, it is not necessary to stop and start but probably is a good idea. No need to deactivate delegated harvesting. You can use it locally too if you want to.

If you change servers it will say delegated harvesting is stopped. But it may still be running on the other server. There is no advantage to harvesting in more than one place. If you change servers you may not see the list of blocks harvested. But the amount harvested is in your account.

Why not run your own? It is free and easy. I will be posting a new tutorial for a free windows VPS soon.

I will look at running one soon when i get a raspberry PI and dont need to leave my main computer running in my bedroom 24/7.

Anyway, how do i tell if delegated harvesting is working?
I have no idea if it is or not.

The NEM Infrastructure Server (NIS) is not available. Try to restart the NEM software. If you are using a remote NIS, check your configured host for typing errors or use another remote NIS.

If the NCC client says "Delegated harvesting is active" and the button says "Stop delegated harvesting", then it is doing what it is supposed to do.

I'm not sure about the error. maybe it is a network issue, or something happened to the server you were on?

I dunno, but it appears to be OK today. Still havnt harvested a single block since launch though.
