XEM is now #7 on 24h Volume Ranking of all cryptos: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/volume/24-hour/

Hope to see it even higher when other exchanges accept XEM.

Question is when they will add NEM? Have marketing team contacted Cryptsy and Bitfinex?

sorry guys to be a pain

still the same issue on harvesting

now NIS an NCC are connected and sechronized

I see delegate harvesting is active on the top right on the "importance score"

but when I click on strat delegate harvest I get "error 699"

I guess i'm not harvesting or m'I?

what should I do?

It means you're already harvesting on that node. Did you start harvesting locally ?
You can harvest delegated and locally on one node unless you raise the account limit in the config file.

ok maybe i'm harvesting locally but how do I stop? and how do I see if I'm harvesting or not?

Having the same issue. Where can i check if local harvest is on and where can i turn if off? (prety sure both are on)

My guess right now is that you guys somehow managed to activate both local and remote harvesting or at least the client thinks so.
Klick on stop harvesting (remote or local what ever you see right now). Maybe then the button for the other type of harvesting will re-appear and then you can stop that as well. Then choose one type and one type only and start that.

There is no stop harvesting for me only start delegated harvesting...

I haven't recive and coins from harvest for 12h

how many time should I get coins on avg?

there is no avg for that. It depends on a lot of things.

Could you post a screenshot of the client as you see it right now ?

also try to stop the software (ncc and nis) and restart it. Maybe that will bring the stop button back since the client seems to be confused right now since you clicked both.

I seem to be having the same problem, nothing I have done has helped the situation unfortunately :/. Also where do the wallets save on to on your computer?

think i got a problem , yesterday i push the button " activate delegated harvesting " because i want to see how it works , i got the info from http://blog.nem.io/how-to-use-delegated-harvesting/

but when i was awaiting ( 6 hours ) my son closed the program and now , a day later , i started my wallet and see only zero and no transactions and when i try to put in the private key i used yesterday it

says this acount has already an acount whit this adress so i do not know where my coins are!

someone knows what to do now?

any chance you have 2 accounts in that wallet and you have the empty one selected ?
You can swtich between accounts by clicking on them.

That's very odd. The wallet is just a file and files don't just vanish Smiley

Also you still have to have java somehwere as the standlaone still needs java just not the 64bit version.

I found it quite odd too. Haha you're right, I was thinking of my laptop which didn't have Java, I forgot I had it on this computer for Minecraft. I may as well get the 64 bit client then. Although I still am not a fan of it. I also seem to be having the issue when trying to start delegated harvesting which is "Error 709: "The account is unknown. An account needs to be part of at least one transaction (sender or recipient) to be known to the network." Any ideas?

Edit: Upon installing the 64bit client my wallet was found again Smiley.

So once delegated harvesting is active I can start it and shutdown my computer and come back to harvested blocks? Or do I still need to leave my computer on? Sorry if these are stupid questions.
To be able to harvest without leaving your computer on, you have to connect to a remote NIS. The reason is that the node, which is harvesting for you, of course has to keep running.

To connect to a remote NIS, you have to open the Settings (in the menu on the left hand side of the client) and enter a host or IP address of a remote NIS. So you can either run a VPS by yourself and then use the host name or IP of that remote NIS or you find somebody who lets you harvest on his/her NIS.

Okay, that makes sense, thank you very much. Just another quick question. I had to restart my computer, and when it rebooted it didn't have my wallet. I'm running the stand alone version, because I'm not a huge fan of having Java on my system. I was just wondering if anyone would know why the wallet disappeared?

Installed the Windows Standalone today.

So far it works. After importing the priv key from the old wallet in a new created one I found the coins and made a successful test send.

One small Warning for those still useing old Internet Explorer as default:

 \package\runMon.bat

Will boot but the running NIS Node is not detected and its not visible synchronizing.
If you then try to start a node manual from the menu it tells you it's already started. Also the Icon in the TaskBar shows it's runnig.

If you don't want to change your default browser:

You can copy the Web Address from IE over to Chrom after the boot up to solve this issue or you can start the NIS and NCC the manual way like in Beta:

 1) \package\runNis.bat
 2) \package\runNcc.bat
 3) open Chrom enter http://127.0.0.1:8989/

The whole NEM NIS/NCC/Java/Webbrowser thing still looks a bit complicated to me (i prefer old shool standalone wallet app) but it works and looks good once booted and the control Icon in the TaskBar is a very neat thing.

So nice Job.

Guys please, the easiest way is just to ask since I don't have much time to research.

Friend is trying to install NEM client, but he is running windows 7, 32bit. For client to work, 64bit Java is necessary. When he tries to install 64bit Java he gets the error messages. What's the workaround this problem?

Thanks!

installer doesnt work with 32bit java and if hes on 32bit computer then it wont install 64bit java. need to use stand alone in this case.

Make sure you remove ANY previous/other versions of NEM client, and the standalone works beautifully on 32bit.
