Important note for NEM stakeholders that have not redeemed yet: There will be a procedure published shortly after launch regarding late comers with precise steps they need to take in order to claim their stakes.

Thanks for the info. Where will it be published? Here?

Both here and NEM forum.

How to claim my stake?

Finally, NEM starts and I want to claim my stake directly after launch. Can anyone tell me, how this works?

Our public addresses are being entered into the genesis block (first block of the blockchain) so everyone who are stakeholders will be able to access their xem at the moment when NEM goes online tomorrow.
And it will last as long as the nem blockchain lasts... You are in no rush to access it tomorrow. Just be careful not to loose your private key.

What do we need to start harvesting right at launch? Balance over 1000 XEM and... 1440 confirmations of the initial balance received or smth?

If you are in nemesis, you'll be able to start harvesting stright away. If you'll want to delegate harvesting, you'll need to wait 360 blocks.

Important:

If you have previously used the NEM software (0.5.19 or lower), you need to ensure that the old software and any old NEM user data has been removed from your computer before installing the live net software. Otherwise it may cause problems for you if old data is picked up by the new software.

For those who have used the installer version:

1) Please go to control panel and then go to "Programs" > "Programs and Features" and then select NEM which should be in the list. This should remove the NEM software. With Windows Vista/7, you will find the uninstallation option by going to "control panel" and then "Programs and Features".

2) Once you have done this, please go to "c:\Users\\" and delete the "NEM" folder that you should see.

For those who have used the standalone version:

1) If you have been using standalone, just delete the "package" folder. Only you will know what location that is in.

2) Once you have done this, please go to "c:\Users\\" and delete the "NEM" folder that you should see.

If any one has any issues in removing the NEM software, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team via private mail or post your queries at forum.ournem.com.

Thank you.

where do we need to delete this on a MAC?

I am BTT early NEM stakeholder that patmast3r told will be able to claim stake after final launch of coin. So tomorrow I should write message to whom exactly? Patmast3r or other team member?

If you followed what was going on (probably you didn't) then now you should be in a possesion of private key/public key/address which will allow you access to your stake in less then 3 hours...

If you didn't follow and don't know what to do, I suggest writing PM to patmast3r.

I stopped to follow when I was told that I have to wait till launch. And this was message from patmast3r. I was to late to register my NEM token when was time for this so I don't know if your suggestion will be still right for me. Im bit confused Wink
