Important News - NEM is launching!
The waiting period is finally over. The Nemesis block is now complete, Main Net testing is running as planned and everything else appears to be prepared for launch. Thus, we are very happy to announce the official launch date for NEM: 31 March 2015 - at 19:00 UTC.
Important Note: Despite best intentions the above mentioned launch date is a tentative one and we reserve the right to change it if any critical issue would arise in the meantime that could endanger the NEM network.

I would stay easily 8 million. And if smart contracts development will be announced right after the launch date, by then the market-cap of NEM can reach higher than 20 million.
The success is a predecessor of huge success. Every NEMbie (Read M as a flipped W) may contain a part of this success and who knows, even a huge success may come.
A small success is sure if:
1) the launch doesnt fail any ways (even another postponing 5 minutes before the launch as an emergency brake is still way better than failed launch - NEM is a bit like Duke Nukem Forever - 10th postponing cant hurt it anymore)
2) no huge promise will be considered as empty by general public
ad 2) Dont forget what E.T. said: "Beware the bearers of false gifts and their broken promises.

Entirely possible.
I think it is likely we will overtake #5 BitShares (16.5MM) in the next months, and also #4 Dash (24MM) eventually. However, then comes the real difficulty. Litecoin has been falling for a long time, and is becoming quickly irrelevant. If we overtake Litecoin (62MM), Then we will truly be 'making history', and from there we may see explosive growth that actually makes NEM relevant in the world of digital money.

A stupid question: is there any prediction of rentability/profitability if im going to maintain a full 24/7/365 node in my network running it shortly after the NEM launches? The hardware neither connectivity is not a problem.
