XMIN Airdrop to XEM Holders (May 07 09:00 UTC)
https://coindar.org/en/event/nem-xem-xmin-airdrop-to-xem-holders-8707

What is XMIN and which is it's use and finality? Does any exchange support this airdrop? This link doesn't provide such information.

Could I just get a final clarification on XPX (ProximaX) being run on top of the current NEM blockchain?  Is XPX just a mosaic on the NEM public blockchain, or is ProximaX running indepentently on another public blockchain (inspired by NEM tech)?     I'm looking at adding to my investment in NEM(XEM), but need clarification on the PromimaX position.  I read the whitepaper.

It is 100% a NEM mosaic.  Do you know when the tokens are going to hit the exchanges?

you should just join the telegram group https://t.me/ProximaXio there is all the info you need. the tokenrelease is in max 30 days from now on. And they are working on the exchanges

With all of these new crypto to fiat payment apps, like Crypterium, will NEM be able to withstand the increase on their blockchain from such companies?

is the circulating supply on cmc right? I have some doubts, someone can check? thank you guys for the help

what are you referring to? Yes this is the actual supply. Sure the total number available is less because it´s held in Supernodes or by the foundation. But you can just check the richest to have a better picture about distribution

are we listed in some decentralized exchanges? I think they are the future since exchange are too centralized
The only decentralised exchanges I know about are accepting ERC20 tokens only. I don't know whether COSS is decentralised or not, but there is practically no volume anyway.

https://crypto-bridge.org/ accept many coins not only tokens

If you mean the circulating supply of 8.999.999.999 XEM, then yes it is correct. The question was asked several times before. A short Google search and you would have found the quick answer  Wink

Just looks like it rewards highly active wallets instead of wallets that make a few transactions a week.

I don't think you are supposed to gain massive importance if you just transfer some XEM to an exchange every now and then.

I'm not a big whale. But now and then I find a block. Usually with a few fees but sometimes even with a three-digit number of fees (once so far). What I've noticed is that I find more blocks in shorter time if I had previously transferred XEM. That's why I think it has influence. But if it is that big, I can not really guess with my stake.

how many shops accept nem for payments? we are the perfect crypto for fast payments, please contact merchants, we're perfect for them
Crypto payments is always going to be tricky business. Until a scale is reached, it is harder for merchants to justify this cost of changing their POS. On the other hand, you can use crypto like NEM when you transact peer to peer in the crypto community.

It seems to me that XEM will not receive a new push in growth if its policy goes in such a way as now, young competitors are breathing in the back, the team needs new significant partnerships
Partly you are right. But I am more for the fact that this project will develop successfully. We just need to wait and we'll see a good price for a coin.

Nxt NEM
Very nice study! Ok, so NEM's algorithm is POI and it is a  version of PoS.
Explanation (tl;dr):
In this study, author is showing what is the difference between just balance and importance based harvesting. Technically importance is calculated on the account activity base (so transactions with over 1000 XEM). The result from this particular study says that actual NEM algorithm (PoI) is not much different if there wouldn't be this "importance" part in it, and harvesting probability would be similar in both cases. So the most probability of harvesting a block is comming from a "balance" parameter, not exactly from "importance" parameter.

"looks like it rewards highly active wallets instead of wallets that make a few transactions"

Where does it show so?
The correlation between harvested blocks and transactions is only 0.13.
ofc the "active" may mean in PoI also the amount of sent XEMs, but that is not visible in that data.

BTW, where is used that "you" instead of passive expression. Sometimes "you" is quite distractive Wink
