I think that many NEM people are also NFD people, and since NFD is out and it needs to be traded, they maybe vote for it, NEM will (maybe) launch in two months or who knows... no hurry for exchange.

Let's go back to normality:

Keep on voting for NEM guys!!!

https://hitbtc.com/vote

it seems that nfd community is bigger then our HuhHuhHuh...just check it and you will be in confusion like me...

As a reminder to vote for NEM each day, I put a internet shortcut on my desktop. https://hitbtc.com/vote

Are you people sure there is over 2000 different people in NEM? It seems always same 50 is voting.

instacash, thanks.

May 10? I download soft some days ago.

Hello, just tried to sent some NEM coins-at first it was like usually pending, after my order disappeared ... any ideas?

Same here. Maybe the network is down?

can you come to #ournem?

I think I know the cause.

The reason is integer overflow (hehehe), but it's only related to display, not to network itself, so look for you TXes somewhere on the bottom with date May 10 Smiley
possible update coming later today

Explain me please "Add an Existing Account". What and where an account? I have Oops! Unexpected error occurred...

Why need button to manually enable "harvesting"? Why did he not on automatically?

If you happen to already have an account, you can add it. Create a new wallet if you don't have a NEM account yet.

Some people wish not to harvest by default which is why there's a feature to switch it on or off.

Hey guys.

Just wonderin'; would it be possible to run the NEM client on a rasberry Pi to act as a node?

Yes

I got the alpha working on my Synology NAS, you may check for a tutorial in the nemforum:
http://forum.nemcoin.com/index.php?topic=2245.0

There is a general info how to install in linux as well.

However, NIS on my NAS takes about 10 seconds for each 1000 blocks to calculate during startup.
Currently we have about 9.000 blocks, so 90 seconds to start.

Imagine,
after  100 days   (144000 blocks) this would be:   1440 seconds =  24 minutes to start
after 1000 days (1440000 blocks) this would be: 14400 seconds = 240 minutes to start

But until then, it is a long way to go, and NIS and NCC will run through a lot of changes Wink

Yes

One of the dev's is running it, it is a bit slow to get synced but after that it runs fine.

Thats great. I'm sure the initial Sync will speed up as the client becomes more optimized and bug free anyway. So thats no big deal.

Think a few Pi's will be on my to-buy list in the not too distant future.

I downloaded the alpha. What is a good opensource utility (Windows8) that can read file checksums?

Since I trust tools from sysinternals suite, I'd recommend
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897441.aspx

(but it's commandline only)

Code:
sigcheck -h nis-ncc-0.0.55.zip

Sigcheck v1.92 - File version and signature viewer

I ran Sigcheck v2.1, everything matched. Thanks

As your NXT account holds the NEMStake asset you can either send it back to the issuer account at time of launch to claim your NEM OR trade it or part of it for NXT should you wish to do so. However holders of NXT AE NEMStake might be included in NEMESIS after all which means your account is fully vested from day one.

After talking to gimre, it looks like NXT AE NEMstake will be in NEMESIS after all.

Just to clarify, if I want to ensure being in genesis block from the start, I should have it in NEMstake form on AE?

People NOT trading on NXT AE will FOR SURE be in nemesis block.
People trading on NXT AE will most likely be in nemesis block.

Quick question, if I have the original stake, is there any reason to convert it to NXT (if I'm not looking to trade at the moment), or I can just leave it for future NEM distribution?

Hi SyRenetiy! Claiming NEMStake on NXT Asset Exchange doesn't necessarily mean that you have to trade your stake.

As your NXT account holds the NEMStake asset you can either send it back to the issuer account at time of launch to claim your NEM OR trade it or part of it for NXT should you wish to do so. If you're not willing to sell it - there's no reason to convert it to NXT AE NEMStake.
