Hacking uncertainty, closed exchange wallets. I'm surprised it's held up this well. The hacker is clearly slipping through the cracks here and there but we don't know what's happening behind the scenes at exchanges.
Something will have to happen on that front before there's any progress. I think we'll be in the doldrums for quite some time yet.
Hopefully this is a crypto quite awhile ie 2 weeks, haha.
Damn shame to see the reputation of the project tarnished.
Hacker has apparently laundered ~84 million already:
This would give lots of downward pressure ...
https://asia.nikkei.com/Markets/Capital-Markets/Coincheck-hackers-have-laundered-84.7-million-worth-of-NEM?page=2
this is great news that means we see no natural downwards pricetrend
but instead one that is limited until the stolen coins are back in circulation
once that source of sellpressure is gone
we will see a famous comeback
because XEM have zero natural inflation and sellpressure
once hack coins used up the result can be only raise
im sorry for the people who lost coins
but for us who trade on exchanges all XEM have the same colour
so dont hesitate to take ur fair share of cheap coins as long as there are some
u never know when the stream of cheap coins stops
hacker might get cought or run out of coins
or loop holes he used to sell get closed
so who waits to long might miss cheap coins
