Quite optimistic there.

I'm hoping for $0.5 to $1 at the end of the year.
this is VERY possible due to catapult

I'm very conservative. Smiley

Of course I wish at this point I didn't sell most of my initial stake.

What above is optimistic ?
When comparing to these figures for NEM:
http://www.profitconfidential.com/bitcoin/bitcoin-cryptocurrency-ethereum-high-returns-2017-2018/

Symbol   Name   Market Cap    Price       1-Year Return
BTC    Bitcoin    $37.5B    $2,264.04    409%
ETH    Ethereum    $15.1B    $164.35    1,204%
XRP    Ripple    $12.7B    $0.33    5,478%
XEM    NEM            $2.31B    $0.257    14,998%

The marketcap numbers has been changed a lot in the last several weeks - now Ethereum has much higher marketcap (and NEM lower). But yeah, still, 1-Year-Return is the best by us (shoud be fine promote this info in each possible way).

On the other hand, we're definitively on the #5 position now, ETC is above us (marketcap diff is around ~ $130 mio now). I'm curious, what will be the next progress (not just) in this chart position(s) ...

Does anybody understand the ETH-Hype?
It is nearly the same worth as BTC, this is sick! Huh
You can pay with ETH nowhere, they have no big company deals, so what is going on?
This bubble will burst at the end or ETH will need a new Hardfork again and then the bubble will burst!
This bubble is not a good for all Altcoins!

So ETC is not a lost thing like Bitcoin Classic was? Damn.

Still, assuming a 10,000 % return, we'll be rich and famous. Hooray!

(from Bart's question)

"The proposer can set a date for voting. NEM users vote with their importance either in favor or against the idea.
If a quorum of at least 3% of the importance of the NEM blockchain is met and the vote passes with a 65% majority, then the vote is considered accepted by the community. Otherwise it fails.
If the community gives the thumbs up, to submit the project details as aforementioned to the core committee.
_If the community accepts the vote, then the core team will vote. _
_If 80% of the core team is in favor, the proposal is accepted. _
If the vote fails, the core team can either reject the proposal outright or propose a modified idea to the community, in which case the community would vote as in step 2. This continues until the proposal is either accepted or rejected.
If a proposal is rejected, it may be proposed again after a waiting period of 2 weeks."

Those IF's should be presented clearly - prefer some programming language Smiley
coz otherwise there is coming out such conclusion that If 80% of the core team is in favor, the proposal is accepted ?

Did I get it right?

FOR i = 1 to Infinity Step 14
IF the community accepts the vote, THEN
The core team will vote. _
IF 80% of the core team is in favor, THEN
        the proposal is accepted.
   ELSE
        modified proposal OR END
   ENDIF
ELSE
   modified proposal OR END
ENDIF

NEXT

hopefully Smiley

That kind of procedure I am expecting, but is it also in the original spec ?

Yes, there's an old google document somewhere in forum.nem.io with the rules.

Hi,
I'm trying to use the NEM lightwallet ver 1.8. Upon startup, it has me choose a host. Okay, no problem. Here is where I get confused: The Network Mainnet page asks me to Choose Wallet and I have the choice to have it not ask me for a password/key. It's not showing me a wallet to choose. This despite the fact that I created a Brainwallet and I have a private key as well.

So my question is: How does one open an existing wallet?  OR: How do I get the host to show me wallets to choose from?

Thanks,

Steve

...

This guy is NVO dev.

I don't know why he wrote in french language.

Come on, i´m learning Japanese, i can´t learn french at the same time  Smiley
And what does "NVO" mean ?

Sorry for my ignorance.

Google Translation:

"As a matter of course, the marketing manager of NEM gave us the pleasure to contact us today, I hope to be able to talk with them in not long time, it is already an excellent step forward because NVO wants to work with all the Altcoin projects. We use counterparty, we stock on maidsafe, we want to use all blockchains".

Does this mean that he is going to give some explanation about their marketing plans?
That would be great Smiley

I'll sell my XEM when they reach 3 digits. Finally a new car! ^^

what is "3 digits" ?
a new car can be 500 USD or 500 000 USD - there you have 3 digits.
