Second type of tokens? Are thi will be token created on NEM blockchain or 2nd coin? How to get this tokens? Every NEM holders will get equialent % of this CAT tokens?

PS: CAT token ticker already existed on CMC (even 2 tokens with this ticker)

You find the information here https://forum.nem.io/t/catapult-migration-and-tokenomics-proposal-for-nem-community-poi-vote/24033

There will be a fork, so a new chain will be created because technically NIS and Catapult are incompatibel. As far as the propsal says it will not be called Catapult itself, but Symbol. The ticker will be SYM or something similar, it is described in the link above. There will be exact as many tokens as for NEM, and you will get the same amout of new tokens as you own XEM.

So as I understood correctly there will be 2 type of oins and just one of them will have Catapult, right? Which ones will have Catapult?
Which exchanges will support hardfork?

Correct! The new chain of Symbol (other and more marketable name for Catapult) utilizes the Catapult technology. XEM will stay as it is and will further developed.
I have not found any information yet if and which exchanges support the fork. As far as I know (and this was one of my questions in my post here two days ago) there has not been announced a fork date yet.

So are both of this tokens will be owned and managed by the same team or they will be divided into 2 separate team (owners)?
As I understood token with Catapult will be more valuable?

Hey thanks for the good info guys. This question may have been asked before but I didn't find it and would like to know if the coming fork outcome will cause 2 different coins XEM and SYM? Will my XEM that is currently on an online exchange cause me to also receive the new SYM coins or do I have to have my own wallet to receive the new SYM coins?

Do I understand correctly that after the fork (has an exact date already been determined?) you also have CAT tokens in addition to your XEM tokens? What are these CAT tokens and what are they used for? Why does a new token have to be introduced at all? I do not understand the reason why the Foundation accepts a further dilution of the XEM price, as this is to be expected.

NEM Community out there! The Catapult migration committee is looking to hear your thoughts on branding for Catapult. There is a survey going on right now to gauge your opinions about it. If you sincerely care about NEM, kindly answer it out. Here is the link for the survey form.
...
...
Why wouldn't Catapult be just the project name, but the crypto / system would have another name?
...
...
...
...
...now it is closed !   ... missed it, while thinking the names :-(

That is the problem : clarity is still missing from NEM team.
E.g. Always in the beginning of the survey must be told, how long the survey is open, and how long the survey will approximately take.

About the name:
Catapult means weapon. According to the survey's answers it seems that many do not understand it.
Is a weapon name suitable in the world, where is many quite liberal movements (tho many are not-fact-based, but they guide the masses).

For the name must be arranged another survey, with rewards.

They seem to have settled on Symbol.

Symbol...?

Symbol and Sekoya are already reserved / old :-)
http://www.sekoya.ch/en/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_(musician)

The plain Symbol is a little bit ... eh, "cheap", unimaginative.
In the word "Ethereum" is at least invented something new.

If NF has invested on "Symbol", they could at least add some spicy to it:
if it is treated as a verb, then
Symbol them
Symbol'em
Symbolem

which could be seen as a continuation of the "Nothing Else Matters" - line    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kill_%27Em_All Smiley

Other names:
Mythium, Voxbitum  ("voice of the people thru/via bits"), Visbit,
Carapult, Katabit, Leonium, Mytherium, Lytherium, Literium

Edit:
added the previous comments.
Positive is that Catapult has been left to be as a project name and some clarity has come to NEM specs.
Still the name selection is a bit biased. Maybe somebody has had already trademarked something and that was the reason to select the bad name, "Symbol".

Many are starting to realize that Ethereum along with the others in the top ten are way overrated.

UK’s Oldest Crypto Exchange to Delist Ethereum and Focus Solely on Bitcoin

Catapult adds so many great features:
* Aggregate Transactions
* Cross-Chain Swaps
* Multi-level Multisig Accounts
* Account Restriction
* Mosaic Restriction
* Hybrid Blockchain
* 4-layered Architecture
* Written in C++

With NEM's history of safety, we are standing on solid ground
and when Catapult is evaluated our potential will shine.

I am ready for the 2020 kickoff!  Smiley

Lithuania's Central Bank issues digital coins on NEM Blockchain.

https://www.ledgerinsights.com/lithuania-central-bank-digital-collectible-coin/

If this "collectible coin" than how they will be issued on blockchain? I think collectible coins should be physical. Or how people will be able own them and what sense in this coins?

The coins are physical, the article says:
"The digital coin which will be available to buy from the Bank’s e-shop next year, can be used to redeem a real silver coin."

NEM Foundation Technology Department update December 2019

Contributions Period: November 2019

Summary
November Tech Update

* Core devs released a new version of Catapult, codenamed Fushicho 3, which is the second iteration of our release candidate version. The update comes with an update on nemesis epoch time and adds a maximum harvester balance in the network configuration.

* NEM Foundation is moving the focus to public test network. We have executed a network reset and are planning on more tests during this month, some with regards to delegated harvesting and the split between node beneficiary and harvester block rewards share. Stay tuned!

* The NEM Developer Center is constantly being updated to integrate the latest Catapult features. Find out what has been worked on by our Technical Writers.

* A new version of the Command Line Interface for Catapult is now available (nem2-cliv0.15.1) with an update of the SDK, offline transaction signing and a few others.

* The Block/Network Explorer (Super Explorer Framework) project has seen many contributions over the course of November and is now running on pair with the Public Testnet for Catapult.

* The Desktop Wallet project has also seen many contributions and the team is currently working on stability fixes as well as planning the opening of a HackerOne program.

* The Mobile Wallet project is moving along with its private beta implementation with fixes to QR Codes generation and hierarchical deterministic wallets generation.

* The Faucet using the Public Testnet for Catapult lets you claim funds on our Public Testnet for Catapult.

* Last but not least, the core devs have started writing the catapult whitepaper.

So on snapshot day, everyone dumps their NEM after Opting in on unsuspecting buy orders taking the price to zero and then collects their now worthless catapult coins on the new chain ?

From the final development contract notice dated March 31st 2015 (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_0Z9jDGHPxPbndmbm96eW1XaEk/view)

2.1.2 Silver Coins for Distribution to Initial Stakeholders

Based on community consensus, physical silver coins will be minted and distributed
to initial NEM stakeholders .

The silver coins shall be distributed as an asset (colored coin), effectively giving all
initial stakeholders a parallel, silver-backed digital currency that shall reside on the
NEM blockchain. To claim one physical silver coin, one whole silver coin asset is
needed.
Note: The execution of the silver coin project is not guaranteed and will only proceed
providing that XEM market cap and liquidity are sufficient to cover the expenses with
the allocated stakes. If this condition is met, all initial stakeholders will be issued
their silver coin asset. If the allocated stakes do not reach a high enough value to
fund the project (to pay the mint and cover all costs [shipping costs etc.]) until V1 is
released, the complete fund will be transferred to the community fund. "A high
enough value" can not be exactly fixed at this time, but to get a feeling: it is
estimated that the fund should reach at least USD 260,000 to be successful.

There are 211,885,446.63 XEM in the Silver Coins for Distribution to Stakeholders - - Dev-Fund

Even at today's price that is worth approx $7.5M (more than the $260K noted above).

If this was distributed to the original stake holders, they would get a few thousand dollars worth of coins each.

The time for ignoring the silver coin fund is well past, the NF needs to add this to their to-do list asap, what's going to happen to the silver coin funds? Who controls those funds, who decides what's going to happen?

Time to answer!
