No hardware needed, but 8k isn´t enough because you need 3mil nem.

I installed nemwallet-0.6.84-windows-installer and entered http://127.0.0.1:8989/ncc/web/index.html.
one wallet is found, but I can't open.
after entering password(not sure if it is right) it says

The balance of your XEM is not inside the wallet. It is all in the blockchain managed by the nodes. You need to make sure you have the private key and the account number. Once you have those keys, you should not be afraid to try the different wallets.

The wallets just fetches the balance you have on each account from the blockchain and display them to you. It wouldn't change your balance.

The dev team is way too busy working to be day trading. Trust me on that. For the most part, they don't even look at the price. Our consensus is that XEM will be worth A LOT more and checking the price every day for little ups or downs is irrelevant in the long run.

My nis is stuck as well. I downloaded that file, but in which folder should i put it? Or how can i sync from scratch?

on windows it is the folder c:\users\\nem\nis\data and on a linux system /home//nem/nis/data.

There are a lot more people that are holding a large number of tokens.

Most NEMsters are here from the start and believe in the project. Those that didn't got out when the price was between 30 and 100 satoshi. Dumpsters have dumped. Now the main dumping is coming from day traders that also create the volume. Nothing wrong there.
