Am i disqualified as a result my recent sex change sweetie?

A ninja distribution of the fund to all original stakeholders with an announcement here would be nice. As you said, a lot are long gone which would be like a semi burn.

Not at all. I support your transition all the way but sadly one's interest in cryptocurrency gets lost in that hormonal swirl. Believe me, I know.

I think we're kind of past doing anything involving original stakeholders any more. It would be too messy and complex.

I think the silver thing is still up in the air. I think they've been waiting for a certain price level to finance it. It's time it was knocked on the head once and for all. Most original stakeholders will be dead, cashed out, lost the keys or have undergone sex or personality changes by now.

Any place i can find a breakdown of what these dev-funds are being used for?. I know about the supernodes reward program. What was the outcome of the silvercoin for stakeholders fund?

Is there a rich list? I want to know how many coins do the biggest whales have? I am a serious XEM investor who have 8 million coins. I hope my stash will be more in USD value.

Yes this is very telling ...

"We have converts from Ethereum and Bitcoin that were amazed at how easy it is to develop in NEM. For example, we put together a land title registry solution in less than five days, whereas we can see a competition who’d have an army of programmers to do similar things in months using the Bitcoin core technology. We also heard that this similar project would take 1 month to do in Ethereum."

Interesting. Now that I've been exposed to NEM, it might be a viable long term hold worth considering. ETH still does have much larger exposure, and even if NEM is superior in terms of ease of use, I still see a lot more projects being developed on ETH :p

A lot more people want to do things the hard way. Oxymoron. They see it as a technology challenge and satisfaction, while missing the forest for the trees, i.e., solve the damn real world problem instead of proving a point.

Multisig in Eth is a mess. In NEM, it is simply KISS. 2 minute job, and it solves 75% of the requirements. No need any programming skills, just appreciation of the concept behind it.

Hire me! Spanish translator and community manager!
If NEM reaches 1$ i will tattoo NEM in my front. no haha just kidding, but i will tattoo NEM in less obvious part of my body lol.

I think we would need like a 9 billion market cap to achieve 1$ hehe.

Hey guys what's up with the smart contracts that supposedly NEM would have? similar to ETH, haven't seen any example of a NEM smart contract.

Help! Just checked CMC, now standing at $60M

I also see BTC has spiked this morning.

Yup, I got in a couple weeks ago with only 33k, may have to put more money into NEM Smiley

that would make NEMs market cap half that of bitcoin. not gunna happen - at least not anytime soon.

It is of course a pipe dream, but Bitcoin is pure speculation with a teensy bit of usage. It looks like NEM is taking the absolute opposite approach and the usage might lead to speculation.

On top of that Bitcoin's market cap is likely to be significantly higher by the time NEM really gets going. If ETH could get around 10% of Bitcoin's market cap while still being a buggy heap of shit that no one uses for anything actually useful then anything's possible when something proven with actual utility, and even some real live users, gets some headway going.

So far no alt has really achieved anything. If that changed then things could get interesting. They're all sat promising the moon while wanking themselves away on exchanges and nowhere else.

agreed. liking your anology btw. The fake "Success" of many alts is precisely that. fake. and is a good demonstration of the level of manipulation in these small markets. this is what keeps real investment away.

I do think nem is the most promising of them all - and i've been here since the beginning - but we're a long ways off it yet. in the meantime, expect plenty of ups and downs along the way.

Hey if we reached $1 billion marketcap, I still would be happy! Cheesy

I think this is reasonable, considering what ETH achieved in marketcap.

ETH managed that by having premines, presales, miners and manipulators ready to rock. I don't think NEM can manage any of those circumstances.

It would need very different means to get there, like actually being useful, in which case its market behaviour and position is going to be very different to anything we've seen so far if it managed it.
