I think it depends on whether it can leave the crypto ghetto behind and break out into legit business and by extension the rest of the world. Any project that really wants to go places needs to do that and nothing's been close to it yet.

NEM is delivering and investors are seeing that.
The DAO hack may have helped also, but i feel its more that people are waking up, and we are talking about financial experts here, not just your random BCT members.

Do not hold your XEM - you must sell some, 5 - 20% of your XEM to new nemsters. Otherwise the population is not growing. And that grow is the critical thing.

Dunno. I thought it was eth/dao hedging but I would've thought volume would tail off by now. Perhaps people mindlessly threw money at it, looked a little closer and liked what they learned and continued. It's certainly not following normal behaviour for coins.

XEM shows relative strength compared to many other established crypto currencies what is a really good sign to continue to up trend.
If it could cross 1000 Sats ongoing then new records are very likely. Hold your XEM!

If I sold now I would have 6btc profit. But there's no point in wishing. Stuff happens in trading with alt-coins. Wish nem all the best!
Dude, I sold my free stake at 300 satoshis for 6 BTC, and it would now be worth more than 20 BTC.
I'm not complaining, it's still 6 BTC for free and I bought some back and profiting from this rise, but I'm kicking myself hard. So, fellow nemsters, HODL !
If I sold now I would have 6btc profit. But there's no point in wishing. Stuff happens in trading with alt-coins. Wish nem all the best!
