I just dont understand this GAS thing in my wallet. Yesterday when i trasfered my money to the new wallet i had some gas like 0.0003456 or something. Today i am opening the wallet and this amount is gone, just a button "Claim 0 GAS" When i hit the button it says Sending transaction to your self. What is this all about and why my gas clock is gone since yesterday. Like all gas i earned yesterday is gone. I dont get it how it works. Anybody can exmplain...

Anyway what i can do with that earned gas later? Send it to my ledger wallet for future transactions or change it to NEO coins.? What is this for .....People say is not tradable

got the same issue here since today or later yesterday

I am interested in this coin as well. The dynamic between gas and NEO is an interesting one and also a little complex. I like it. I hope the exchanges will distribute owners GAS as they have done with BCH mainly.

I would choose NEO because I know that it is a project supported by a large part of the Chinese community. Last year I invested in Neo when first started running ICO but unfortunately I sold out too early for some personal reasons.
However, I believe NEO will be a heavyweight opponent in the market.

Bittrex said yesterday that they're looking at the possibility of distributing GAS to NEO holders. Not definite, but at least they're assessing it.

Two questions:

Was Bittrex also able to claim on former ANS positions?

Shouldn't we chase Bittrex to credit our gas for our positions? Same for the abnormal high fee

How can I transfer gas out of my neon wallet? Just see Neo for transfer.

bittrex did scam a ton of people of GAS but i doubt well get anything out of it.....
and should just leave your GAS in NEON for now imo i think itll go up in price

im currently tryna get my NEOGAS out of Binance exchange into my NEON wallet

I would like to ask is NEON wallet SAFE to store your NEO ? I dont see any possible protection for the wallet and everytime you need to use your private key which is generated by wallet itself to unlock it.
I have some bad feeling about this wallet, dont know why!

Any inputs will be much appreciated.

Actually its kind a like staking your NEO and getting GAS in return without a staking wallet. So I am not sure whether we can ask exchange to deposit the same or accumulate the same and honor it when GAS gets listed on same.

Sounds like the coinbase scam. They make money off your gas just like they dumped all the BCC they got and will buy it all back cheap later on before they issue it.

Q: The price of Gas has surpased the price of Neo.

A: You dont need Gas to take part on Ico. It takes 500 Gas to carry iut complicated smartcontract. If your SC is sinple it is now free to deploy. Only when you need persistant storage and the SC is long you need to pay 500 GAS. And then if the computation is simple the first 10 GAS is free. You only need to pay from the 11th gas if it is complicated SC. With an ICO, since you will be getting a lot of money you can probably afford the 500 GAS. The new government token holders will decide how much GAS is necessary.
