Yah they are one of the best out there for sure, and honestly I think that their problem is that they just don't get enough recognition at how competitive they really are which isn't a bad thing to be their top complaint at all, the adjustable plan option depending on how much data you use as well is a bonus and besides Ting don't know any other company that allows you to change your monthly plan depending on if you need it or not basically you can customize it for when you need more or less data XD

And yah it looks like it is a coverage that may be an issue but there were a few other services that cover it more.
At least it shifts into another network though if you need it so I believe it autocovers it.

You can use the Sprint Network so it will likely cover your area that said you will need to look at the map to make sure.

I see nothing but good reviews for them, I assume the catch is making sure you live in an area where there is high speed coverage. Just check their coverage maps. Good news is even if the whole nation isn't 4G on Republic Wireless, they still have lower speed service and cell service in most of the country anyway, so you don't have to worry about being stranded on a road trip or something without service. Also because of the WiFi phone service you can really use it internationally for a lot less than other networks with huge roaming fees etc.

No problem its not one of the big companies as well and with a Tether it probably is cheaper and faster than Comcast 
Anyways I have heard only good things about it but give me a heads up on how it works if you switch

Tethering just means taking the cellular data network and converting it to a signal your gadgets other than phones (such as a laptop computer) can make use of. This allows you to, for example, be a passenger in a car or train and work uninterrupted on your computer.. or provide your own internet access in a hotel which normally charges for access.

If Sprint ever updates the cell network around here I might go with my 4g connection as my primary internet.

Well a few places have Municipal Wire in the USA but otherwise I would say share a network with your neighbors as it seems like the most efficient way to get revenge.

Cancel your subscription but still have a line in a sense.

Our options are either ultra slow dsl or Comcast. I hate both but comcast is faster.

Oh, no, I wouldn't say most households in the U.S. have access to only 2 or less providers. Most people I know have access to quite a few of them, but their prices or speeds are just ridiculous and there is always only 1 more or less decent one that provides coverage where you live.
