what are everyones limits with this?  i see max 3500 dollars for usd for bitcoin.  So if i want to convert 3500 bitcoin to neteller, it cost 35 dollars.

any chance they make it zero fees?

That's doubtful, unfortunately; in fact, up to a few months ago, they were planning on increasing the fee to 5% (though they apparently settled at 1%). But, regardless of the deposit fee, the main problem with this service is still the same: what to do with the Bitcoin deposits - users can't (directly): withdraw the money; use it to make online purchases; or use it in conjunction with their Net+ cards. I suppose one can try to circumvent their limitations somehow (perhaps by passing the money along to another account or site first, as previously mentioned), but there is always the risk of being caught and losing both account and coins.

By the way, you wouldn't be able to convert 3500 bitcoins with their limits (perhaps you meant "convert $3500 worth of bitcoin"), but if you could, the fee would be 1% as well (so, 35 bitcoins). I'm not sure what limits VIP member accounts have, however (if any).

So essentially they're now just yet another exchange, liquidating pretty much right after you deposit. And with high fees.

They convert bitcoin to dollar & no bitcoin as withdraw method ?
No thanks Roll Eyes

It still has its benefits, though, in that it's easy to convert BTC to USD, and still creates liquidity. I'm not sure how much of BitPay's BTC is liquidated but it should help boost transactions/daily turnover regardless. It's a good option for those that have BTC and need cash.

Sorry I forgot to update. The issue got sorted after I left the support an email . They said they were tracking the payment and will add it to the account, which they did later.
How much time did it take them to sort out your issue? From sending the ticket to receiving the balance in your account?

Just a headsup to anyone who tries using neteller with the option to deposit through bitcoin, that incas you expect confirmation delays like the spam attach or stress testing , then do not deposit through bitcoin. I just had a confirmation after 24 hours and Neteller shows it as rejected, but it has been sent and confirmed. I am not sure how they proceed with it, and have contacted them. Will update once they get back .

patt0 but to betfair or other similar site, you can deposit and later withdraw, without play money at least one time?

I never did that but I'm sure you can. What you can't withdraw without "playing" first is bonus money from any promotion they might have, but I'm sure you can withdraw the money you just deposited. (the only "restriction" like I said before is that you must use the same method you previous used to deposit. If you deposit let's say $30 with neteller you must withdraw them from neteller and not by any other method)

This is wrong. Betfair and most other sites require you to make at least a bet (or multiple bets) with the size of the deposit. Some bookmakers even require you to turnover your deposit
multiple times (pinnaclesports.com).

The reason for this is the deposit fees that Betfair has to pay to the e-wallet providers like Neteller and Skrill.
If you would deposit and withdraw without playing they would make a guaranteed loss due to the above mentioned fees.

That rollover is required like I said when you receive bonus money from any promotion. What they do now is to charge you 1%  (with neteller at least, it varies with the deposit method) of your deposit, it used to be free.

Anyway check the terms and conditions always, I'm a betfair customer for many years and I have no restrictions on my account except the normal ones I have mentioned. But things do change from time to time, so always read the terms and conditions.
