Is a good advice, because at some time if try and try there should get something good on return and get a good profit and all you effort will bring a reward, i also want to give up on 2016, but i continue to try and i get some good amount on 2017.
This is different from this year, we struggle hard by participating in bounty campaigns but the results that are not in accordance with our performance are really sad. I think more traders have a better chance to stabilize their economy than bounty participants.

The time you are referring to was one of the worst time of the market even. Now it has recovered pretty much. If you have invested in a great project with possible real uses, there's no reason to panic. I would try to have a tight seat.

Basically, what is becoming the reason why people are not continuing or pursuing the cryptocurrency space better is because of the influence that other people are also imparting to them, one more thing is that, when they risk a certain amount for the first time and the outcome turns out to be negative.

I joined crypto last year as a noob, then started learning how to trade, do bounties & airdrops. I kept learning until I decided to start trading myself. I got rekt on several occasions yet I kept the fire burning. I became tired of the hustle after buying into a coin which was deleted causing a massive dip, I had put in 5000$ in that coin and it turned 600$ overnight. Then I decided to take a bow.

I was encouraged by my mentor not to give up, I took as a cock and bull story initially, I created a bitcointalk account later, scrolling through some forums just reading and learning from from pro in crypto space. I decided to give it a second one try.

I added a few coins to my portfolio and abandoned them. Recently I got sacked from my job for no justifiable reason, then the only thing I could think about is crypto. I checked my portfolio yesterday, my 600$ then turned 7200$. Please always be patient. Buy into coins with great future , give it time, never panic sell. I hope you learn from my experience.

I do not understand that you have participated in bounty for a long time, so why your account only has 2 activities. So are you creating lots of Bitcointalk accounts to join the bounty?

Very inspiring story. I hope all of investors have a patience like you. Honestly all we need in this industry is patience. We need to buy and hold this is a great strategy that we need to do. And I salute you when you encouraged your mentor not to give us. In that situation you stand as a mentor of your mentor. Good decision dude.

What was those coins? Could you gives us tickers?

Your one profitable trade (from 600$ to 7200$ by hodl strategy) is not a lesson for others. You was just lucky with those coins or lucky with timing. Your first trade (from 5000$ to 600$) was based on the same strategy but you were unlucky.
I made few thousends trades. I'm in 1% traders with biggest trading volume on binance (couple months ago binance was celebrating first birthday and they published such statistics) and i can guarantees you that you were just lucky.

Your investment is a long-term investment for people with abundant savings and no need to use them.
They just need to wait for the market to plunge and buy and set a target to sell x20 x50 x100 times and forget it and continue with their daily work.
Think if you don't have a daily job to make money, what will you live on?

That's right, we cannot give up quickly on this investment. The most important thing i learned from previous year is that we have to be patient with the investments we make and don't to sell quickly.

You have a good timing opening your portfolio and it's quite risky forgetting your portfolio without bothering to look on it, you may not know it but you are already 1000 time richer but you do not know it because the all-time high came and you have no idea that all your coins are on their all-time high, this is not recommended.

Wow your story is quite similar to mine. The coin I invested too went from $6000 to $600 in a matter of a week but I have not been lucky enough like you to turn back my available amount to higher. Though I haven't lost hope and your case provided me further inspiration not to stop trading.

This is very insightful, I hope everyone learns from your experience mate. Sometimes holding some good coins especially when price is low is profitable in the long term, but to be sincere, it's not easy to hold that long.
