yah they can talk whatever they want. but bitcoin can't be replaced or beat by many coin new show up. because bitcoin like a king here and bitcoin have a big control in here so if people want to buy some coin or invest they maybe will buy bitcoin for that. many coin maybe promises but bitcoin is trusted one.

I'm not aware of the coin mentioned in the thread author's post, but I'm pretty sure, that some of the new coins/tokens will dominate the market in future. Bitcoin will stay as legacy of course, but cryptocurrency market is still quite new, and it has awesome growth possibilities, so more innovative coins will appear.
